so i should uninstall and not use vortex? i'll just switch to MO2 instead? - Also, one of the required mods in it was Buffout and when i tried loading my game into fse4 loader it gave me an error pop up saying something about the plugin and it wouldn't load the game. had to delete it.

i'm not sure what to make sure about the files of AAF?? Like what could the main reason be for AAF mods to not work or appear???

Buffout is a bit complex and requires a handful of other files be installed for it to work correctly but when installed and working correctly it will save you tons of headaches and time. The crash log for it will tell instantly which mods/game files are causing a problem making troubleshooting a breeze. I'm not saying you should ditch vortex but I am saying that the problems with it incorrectly/incompletely installing mods is why you'll see the majority of people and guides using MO2. I've been a long time member of nexus and used their tools for a while until I started to have ton's of problems, I switched to MO2 and haven't ever regretted it.

Okay, so what is the problem when the player surrenders but nothing happens? My character surrenders, the enemies approach and have taken off my character's clothes but after that, nothing happens. no animation plays. I have AAF vanillakinkycreature animations, atomic lust, leito animation, mutated lust and vadermania animation mods. Is AAF vanillakinkycreature theme supposed to show a pop up? because i never gotten that, ever.

Please have a look at the Troubleshooting section on the mod's front page.

Vortex sometimes has a problem installing all the components of mods and or installing them in the correct folders. It's one of the reason the guides are usually written with MO2 in mind because it works much better. Some parts of mods are best installed directly into the game folder (F4SE, Buffout, Bakka , etc).

I've been using Vortex for years, constantly adding and removing and redeploying mods, and it doesn't break like that for me. These days it can completely manage F4SE installation (the recent "engine injector" feature), and even tracks the author's site and notifies you when new versions of F4SE are available. I'm not sure I'd immediately jump to "you should use a different mod manager" when someone reports a problem with a mod they've installed (I know you didn't say that exactly, but that's how they interpreted your comments), since there are plenty of other more likely causes for such problems.

Based on further information in the Themes thread, the culprit seems likely to be with the save the user was testing with. Always encourage trying on a fresh playthrough or from a previously unmodded save before jumping at other potential causes.

No not really any more. At this point its dependencies are just F4SE, Address Library and (recommended) Plugin Preloader, all of which can just be installed directly with a mod manager. You no longer need to separately install things like MSVC++ redistributables.

Buffout 4 was updated ? ! still using 1.24.5 Version.

Didn't find any instruction on nexus so how do i proceed ? do i need to delete the old files first (i'm also using "ScrapHeap" for memory management and "BuffBaka Settings for Buffout 4 and Baka ScrapHeap")

Yeah ok so after playing, i realize that the issue is AAF itself not working. It works when I start in a new game after the character customization, it loads up the AAF themes, menu, huds and pop ups. But it never shows up on my saved games. I can't press the home key because AAF seems to not be enabled in my saved game file. How can I solve this issue?

I didn't bother to uninstall the MSVC++ redistributables, but you could probably remove them in the Windows Add/Remove Programs interface if nothing else needs them. I can't comment on Baka ScrapHeap as I don't use it (I'm just using Buffout4's memory manager instead).

If AAF isn't starting, there may be some errors in your papyrus log indicating why, or you could try turning on AAF's debug mode and see if it scrolls any errors down the left side of the screen when you load your problem save.

Yeah, i found the solution from a reddit post. I had to uncheck all aaf mods, load in game, save, then go back and enable all aaf mods and THEN it finally worked! It appeared in that saved game. But before I had to do that, I needed to delete AAF_game_started_2022_... from the plugins folder of F4SE. Then the game loaded in a new AAF_Game_started file with all the AAF theme and AAF mods with it. So it works.

My actress just surrendered to a pack of dogs without a fight, even though the perk doesn't exist. Bug or new feature?

PS: I am using beta 3

Which perk? Are you talking about the Sex Attributes integration for Perversions? Also be aware, for that, canines are lumped in with all other "wasteland creatures" (SA doesn't have a lot of other non-human categories besides feral ghoul and super mutant).

exactly, perversion. my actress doesn't have a single perversion perk yet. only gunners bitch, but that can't be the cause.

How does the implementation of RSE II: Combat Surrender and Abductions work?

Do I need to enable abductions in this mod, or is it sufficient to to have it installed?

Install CSA and set it to disabled in its main MCM page, then in the Abductions specific MCM page set enabled so you can adjust the options there (but be aware that the abduction chance slider there does nothing since Violate has its own abduction chance and corresponding slider in MCM anyway).

what animation packs need to be installed and where do you get XML for gangbangs?

Animation packs are listed in the FAQ section on the download page.  The XML is in this thread a few pages back.

I have set only the actress to be equipped with DD items. However, my companion got a collar. Since the Combat Stalkers have disappeared again, of course I don't have the code for my companion's collar.

What is the way to disable the collar?
By the way, how does the companion get rid of a tattoo she got about Violate?

Spoiler

Get close to the NPC and look at her, then use the Real Handcuffs debug menu

That's from Tattoos After Rape.  There is an NPC in the Dugout Inn who will remove them for a fee.

He also removes tattoos from the companion? Thanks, I didn't know. I'll visit him when I have 2000 caps.

you can always use "slm" on you companion and remove the tats. (it's free)

ok, so that works too. I also found the option in RH.
but neither is immersive. i would prefer an option that fits into the game

PS: maybe my question regarding the collars for Companion has already been answered. i was able to remove heather's collar in the connect without a code. maybe it's the same with all companions.

I just recently discovered that it's literally impossible to make this mod work.

That's quite a bold assertion for your first ever post to this forum. How, pray tell, did you arrive at this particular revelation?

Except for all the pther people it works for...

All I know is that I followed instructions to the letter and it kept dragging me in to more and more conflicting mods. To get this one mod to work, I ended up with about 20+ other mods to maintain stability.
