Haven't messed with either of those functions of C&P as of yet.  I've used his Gun For Hire mod to do bounties.

Thanks again. FWIW, I just noticed the CAP page says it will "recognize and action on" when Violate is installed. I couldn't find exactly what it would do though. I may try using different rules for the PC and NPCs, or switch surrendering on for one mod at a time depending on what I am doing. I will experiment later. Thanks.

At one point I went through CAP's scripts to figure this out.  If I recall correctly, CAP just looks for AAF events with a PlayerRapist meta string, then assigns negative karma to that action.  No other mod integration springs to mind.

Please help I am also having trouble getting the animations to start. The player gets stuck in the surrender position, and i made sure i had all the correct mods installed. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. I thought the discreet girls skeleton might be causing interference but even after uninstalling it the problem still persists. Also the real animated poses is an older version but the one on nexus seems to be have taken down so if the mod needs this too please send me a copy of the newest version if anyone has it.

Looking at your Papyrus log, AAF appears to be installed incorrectly.  The AAF scripts have a lot of missing properties, and several mods are trying to call AAF functions and getting errors because the functions don't exist.  If I had to guess, it looks like you have the plugin from AAF version 161 but the scripts from some much older version.

 

E.g.

 

[03/18/2022 - 02:46:04PM] error: Method GetProtectedEquipmentKeywords not found on AAF:AAF_API. Aborting call and returning None
[03/18/2022 - 02:46:05PM] error: Struct type aaf:aaf_api#scenesettings does not contain a variable named isNPCControlled

 

GetProtectedEquipmentKeywords() was added in AAF version 121, and isNPCControlled was added in beta 109.  So these are really old scripts.

I am not sure how those CAP functions work, but if Violate's enemy surrender feature interferes with them, you can always disable enemy surrender in Violate by setting the "Health value for enemy surrender" or "Chance to surrender" to 0 in the Enemy Surrender Options in Violate's MCM.

I'm sorry to trouble you again for help, but what would you do? i have tried a complete re-install AAF, of the game (in case of  leftover gunk from modding in previous years), and any mods that go with AAF that may modify scripts or animations, as well as trying the previous version of AAF alpha, though i assume AAF violate only works with the most current version since the surrender scene is not being triggered.

Ask for help in the AAF Discord, and also run the AAF_GFV.exe tool (available from Moddingham, same place as AAF) to see if it gives you any clues as to whether something is missing/corrupt.

Thankyou for pointing me in the right direction.. AAF_GFV.exe is telling me it is not even installed xD.

You need a body replacer with a nude skin texture (there are many to choose from). Violate is not responsible for the appearance of your body during animations, presumably you see the same even if another mod triggers animations or you initiate them manually.

I have an issue with Violate and SKK's Combat Stalkers. Upon surrendering to stalkers (any race; and I have all the animation packs available and up to date) they'd usually rob the player and starting the retrieval quest. However, when that happens the quest would automatically complete itself since 'the actor vanished from the world' and player's stuff is gone forever.

 

After Violate event, there are (in my game) 3 possible outcomes:

1) NPCs will release the player, allowing them to get away

2) Bad End (Purgatory)

3) CSA: Abduction

 

When either outcome #2 or #3 happens, the actor that robbed the player will be deleted.

 

Is there a way to 'fix' this?

Probably a bit of code to exclude CS from robbery since the spawned SKK NPC's are only temporary.

Or.. turn robbery off.

Actors from SKK Combat Stalkers always get deleted when you go far enough away from them.  Violate ends the retrieval quest when the robber actor gets deleted, otherwise the quest would get stuck, since it is impossible to retrieve your stuff, and you could never get robbed again.

 

I'll take a look at preventing robberies from those actors, hopefully they have a keyword or something that makes it easy to identify them.

Yep, you're correct; because player changes cells (Purgatory and CSA) they are automatically deleted. If the first outcome happens (NPCs let player go), they will still follow the player since they are Stalkers. If it helps, all the Stalkers have 'Combat Stalker Death Tag' in their inventory (all races).

@EgoBallistic Some people on AAF Nuka Ride are having trouble with AAF Violate interfering with some scenes, is it possible please for an event to be added which can be sent during points where it shouldn't interfere? Basically disabling (suspending) parts of or the whole mod by scripted mod events then sending another event to resume them afterwards.

 

The work required wouldn't just benefit AAF Nuka Ride, but also all other current and future mods which are created and people who create them then provide, the creations for other people to enjoy.

It might be good to summarize the actual problem and/or link to the discussion where it's described. Is it that auto-surrender is kicking in when some scripted scene damages the player character? Something else?

Okay, my apologies for prolly a stupid question, but whenever I run the install for Violate in MO2 it shows all the options it can run support for. I would love to have the DLC support, but for the life of me I just cannot find this "Gray User's AAF DLC Creature Animation Pack" on LL. Has it been deleted or something?
