    A creator economy for X-Change Life  
    X-Fans turns the sex you are already having into a career. You record what happens to you, post it under a handle, and build an audience. The difference in 2.0 is that the audience is finite. Every subscriber you gain came from somewhere, and somebody else no longer has them.
    The Loop
    A scene happens somewhere in the game. X-Fans records it, keeping the actual footage that played. You choose which clip leads the post and how to title it. Posting scores the video against four separate audiences. Overnight, subscribers move between you and your rivals.
    You do not manage any of that scoring by hand. You decide what to film, how well you perform, what gear you bought, and how you sell it.
    The Audience Is Finite
    This is the heart of 2.0. There are four audiences:
    Men - the mass audience. Straight men. The biggest pool and the hardest to hold. Women - smaller, pickier, and it wants different things. Gooners - volume watchers. Loyal to whoever keeps feeding them. Fetishists - small, intense, and they pay attention to specifics.
    Each pool has a real size, and that size scales with how many creators can serve it. Your slice depends on how appealing your content is compared to everyone else chasing the same people. Growth is not a number that goes up because you posted. Growth means taking subscribers off somebody who currently has them.
    Unclaimed audience exists too, and it shrinks as the world matures. Early on there are plenty of people not following anyone. Later, the market has settled onto established creators and you have to take what you want.
    A fame-scaled loyal core stays with you no matter what, so a bad week cannot wipe you out, and that core grows as you do.
     
    Content and Appeal
    Every video carries tags drawn from what actually happened in the scene: who you were with, what you did, what your body was doing at the time. Tags decide which audiences care.
    Rolling appeal - your standing with each pool moves gradually. One great video does not transform you, and one bad week does not finish you. The idle fade - a day with no post scores zero, and appeal decays. Disappear for a fortnight and you will come back to a smaller room. Tag fatigue - post the same thing over and over and it stops landing. Rest a tag and it regains its novelty. Signature combos - certain tag combinations have synergy beyond the sum of their parts. Find them and they are named on the upload screen when they fire. Trends - the week has a mood. Riding it early pays more than riding it late.
    Quality Is Not Just the Scene
    A post's final quality is three things multiplied together:
    Your performance - how the scene itself actually went, one to five stars. Your gear - a phone films worse than a handheld, which films worse than a proper camera. Your equipment sets a ceiling on any recording. Your acting - a skill that grows with use, and it lifts everything you shoot.
    The same scene filmed by a beginner with a phone and by a practised creator with good kit produces two very different videos. Upgrading gear is one of the clearest ways to raise your floor.
    Footage
    A capture keeps the clips your scene actually played, in order. A solo session gives one, a blowjob gives two, a full sex scene gives several. On the upload screen you pick which clip leads the post, and that is the clip that plays in the feed and sits on your profile grid. Your page is built from what really happened, not from stock images.
    Rivals
    Seven creators share the platform with you, and they are not scenery. Each has their own audience, their own back catalogue you can browse, and a trajectory that changes over time: rising, steady, plateaued or declining. A rival on the way up will take subscribers off you while you are asleep, and the overnight report names them when they do.
    You can poach right back. You can also work with them.
     
    Alexia
    Your stepsister notices the account. What follows is a three-beat arc that ends with her on the platform herself, starting small and climbing, competing with you for the same people. She has opinions about your numbers, and she checks in weekly with her stance on how you are doing relative to her.
     
    Money
    Subscribers are not an allowance. They are a multiplier on content you actually have live. A video earns while it is fresh and tails off as it ages, so a working creator keeps a catalogue rather than resting on one hit.
    Tips - individual viewers pay for things they liked. Title styles - a baity title buys reach on the night, and books the cost as retention debt that bleeds subscribers over the following days. Sometimes worth it. Commissions - fans request specific videos and pay on delivery. Fill the request with a matching post and the fee lands on top of the normal earnings.
      DMs, Whales and Services
    Your inbox is a real part of the game. Subscribers write to you, and some of them want more than a video.
    Whales - high-value subscribers who make demands and pay accordingly. Keep one happy and they are worth a great many ordinary subs. Lose patience with one and they walk. Services - sell things that are not videos: rating photographs, sexting, and a girlfriend experience for the ones who want to pretend.
      Live Streaming
    Go live and the audience is in the room with you in real time. Two bars run at once, one for the crowd and one for you, and they do not want the same thing. Push too hard for tips and you lose the room. Take a partner in with you and the whole thing changes. Private shows are built around a single whale, an audience of one, with everything that implies.
     
    Collabs
    Book a shoot with another creator. You make an appointment, it happens on a real day at a real place, and when it goes out both of you gain from it. Subscribers move between you and your partner based on the gap between your audiences, so filming with somebody bigger than you is a genuine opportunity and filming with somebody smaller is a favour.
     
    X-Con
    A convention runs on Saturdays. Spend your energy on a panel, a signing, the show floor or the after-party. There are exclusive toys you cannot buy anywhere else, a leaderboard of creators to climb, hecklers to handle, and a hub where a collab can be arranged on the spot.
     
    Being Recognised
    As your account grows, the world starts to notice. Strangers clock you at the bar, the beach, the gym and the mall, and what they say depends on which audience you are famous with. Being known by the fetish crowd is a different experience from being known by everybody.
     
    Settings
    Competition - Standard, or Relaxed for a gentler market. Relaxed slows movement in both directions and protects more of your loyal core, so a bad week costs less. It is a kinder game, not an easier win. Auto record - film scenes automatically where it makes sense, or arm every take yourself. Request frequency - how often fans commission work. Income scale - tune earnings to taste.
    There is also a full achievement set covering the platform, the convention, streaming, collabs and the Alexia arc.
    Works With My Other Mods
    X-Fans is integrated with my other mods, so scenes and items from them feed into your account rather than sitting in a separate corner of the game.

    A mod to gain better control over some aspects of how npc's are generated. Currently it allows you to define the weighted chance of an npc being GenZ, Millenial, or GenX with separate variables for coworkers. I am working on trying to also have more control over female coworker generation but the codebase isn't exactly set up to make that easily mod-able. I would like to extend this further to other aspects like increasing tag chances but that is also a bigger task I think. If you have suggestions or questions I will have a thread on the discord channel I can be reached.
     
    This mod does respect the default age range setting and will prioritize it over your own weights if they contradict each other.

    The Broken Drum has always had one game: blackjack. This mod puts a dartboard on the wall, a pool table in the corner, cups on the end table, a shuffle bowler along the wall, an air hockey table nobody has unplugged in years, and a door past the end of the bar that nobody mentions to you. All of it wired into everything the card game already does: the wagers, the girls, Dredd's dangerous stakes, and Bruce's infamous X-Change bet.
    Back room poker Four-handed Texas hold'em against Dredd, Bruce and whichever bar girls are in tonight, once a night, behind a door you have walked past a hundred times. Buy in from $50 to $2,000 and everyone at the table matches you, so the rung you pick is the size of the whole game. Real side pots, a proper seven card evaluator, and it reads your hand back to you in plain English, so "Two pair, aces and nines" rather than expecting you to spot it yourself. Everybody plays to type: Dredd is tight and will not pay you off, Bruce genuinely bluffs and will keep firing at a pot he has no business being in, and a bimbo calls you down with anything. They open pots, they lay hands down when the price is wrong, and they notice if you are the kind of player who bets every single hand. Run out of chips and you are not necessarily out. House rules say you can strip to buy back in, and so can everybody else, which you will see happen. Reach heads-up and the last player wants something for it: a bar girl settles for your cash, Bruce wants your masculinity on the table, and Dredd wants a night on his stage. Win and the bet is void and you take the lot. Every offer can be turned down. Already female when Bruce gets you heads-up? He has a different arrangement in mind, and how it goes decides whether he pays out at all. Somebody is always buying a round, and it goes on your tab in real units, so a long session is a drunk one whether you meant it or not. Bruce's rounds are worth watching. Catch what his other hand is doing and you can try swapping the glasses while he is not looking. It does not always work. When it does, say hello to Bree, who does not storm out and does not stop playing. Sitting there with nothing on does more than embarrass you. People start reading you, and it gets worse the longer you sit, while how well you know somebody decides how well you can read them back. Some of them would rather flash you than let you concentrate. Arousal builds at the table and you can spend it to steady yourself, but let it run and it will go through you in front of everybody. Being a bimbo makes all of this considerably harder, and Bruce knows it. Darts, now 501 and double out A physically aimed game. Your sight drifts and wobbles over the board; you pick your moment and throw. Higher Fitness steadies your hand, and every drink loosens it. Start at 501 and finish on a double, with no helpers telling you what to aim at, so working out your own checkout is part of the game. Bust below zero, on one, or on zero without a double. Bruce hunts treble twenties and runs hot. Dredd parks in the fat twenty and punishes your misses. The girls throw true to their personality, right down to the bimbo's occasional miracle bullseye. Retuned against measured averages, so maxed Fitness is a coin flip against Dredd rather than lapping him. Pool A real top-down eight ball simulation. Every shot is two steps: aim while dashed prediction lines trace the cue ball and object ball through cushion bounces to wherever they would actually end up (a gold ring where a ball drops, a red ring warning you of a scratch), then set your power on a slider and let it go. A faint fan around your aim line shows your true accuracy, and it widens with power and drink, so you always know what you are gambling on. Full bar rules on a 15 ball rack: pot your own and keep shooting, scratch and give up ball in hand, sink the 8 early and lose on the spot. Your opponent plays their turns on the table in front of you, and you can tap to hurry them along. Beer pong Six cups a side and one throw each. Every cup of yours they sink is a drink you actually swallow, and the drink throws worse than you do, so the game punishes you for losing it. Lose your last cup and you get one redemption shot to force overtime. Virtual bowling Five frames each on the bar's shuffle machine, with full bowling scoring: strikes, spares, bonus balls, and a live scoresheet under the lane. Air hockey First to five, in real time. Click the table and the mouse locks to it so your hand cannot wander out of the rally. Heavy and slidy the way an air cushion should be, and the opponent is genuinely trying. Built into the bar, not beside it The existing "Play cards" moment becomes "Play a game": agree the stakes first, then choose blackjack, darts, pool, beer pong, bowling, or air hockey. Poker is deliberately not in that list, because it is a table event with its own money model behind its own door. Every bar girl plays every game, one of each per night, including girls added by other mods, with a full set of personality-flavored reactions for winning and losing, for cash or for pride Dredd offers stakes you cannot cover, and losing a game you could not pay for ends exactly where you fear it does Bruce's X-Change pill bet works at every game, in both directions: bet your masculinity against his hundred, or make him match the bet with a pill of yours. The crowd still enforces the result. A bet is a bet. Fitness and drink accuracy penalties can be switched off per game. On by default for darts and beer pong, where the wobble is the game. Off by default for air hockey and pool, where your own hand already decides it. The dice-roll skill check (Fitness-based for the new games), Extra Effort, Action Points, skippable minigames, and the Real Time Minigames toggle are all fully supported 24 achievements, from your first won rack to taking the whole poker table with your clothes on A few drinks in, the games notice: your aim suffers and the narration has opinions Compatibility
    Requires X-Change Life 0.25.6 or newer No base passages are overwritten. Everything is done through the modding hooks, so it plays nicely with other bar mods (bar girl mods work automatically; tested alongside Mystery Pill and others) Zero media files: the whole mod is a tiny download and adds no load time

    LESBIANED is an expansion mod for X-Change Life designed to bring more variety and inclusivity to your gameplay. While the base game features a robust system for male NPCs to interact with a female player, LESBIANED levels the playing field by introducing randomly generated female NPCs who will hit on, flirt with, and hook up with the player.
    Whether you're looking for a casual encounter at the beach or a steamy night at the bar, this mod ensures that your female-to-female (F/F) experiences are just as dynamic and frequent as the base game's male-to-female (M/F).
    Beta 0.2.5 Features
    This initial beta release focuses on building the foundation for female encounters and populating the world with a diverse range of women.
    Massive Image Library: This version includes 1,200 high-quality images, specifically curated for F/F encounters:
    720 Face/Portrait images.
    240 Detailed breast images.
    240 Detailed pussy images.
    Diverse NPC Generation: NPCs are randomly generated with a wide variety of attributes:
    Ages: 18 to 55.
    Ethnicities: A balanced mix of White, Black, Latina, and Asian NPCs.
    Active Interactions: Female NPCs can now generate in the world and will actively hit on the player when they are in a female form.

    Mod Compatability
    So far I have not tested this with other mods, but it should be compatible with the vast majority of mods as it uses mostly all of its own passages, but does interact with a couple of base game ones.

    Perfume, aftershave and pheromones for X-Change Life.
    This was a mod request by Pillholic in my discord thread
    The base game already models smelling bad. It tracks it, it makes NPCs react to it, and it makes you want it gone. Scentsibility is that same idea with the sign flipped: something you choose, pay for, and put on deliberately.
     
    A scent you wear, not an item you own
    Twenty-five bottles across four counters. Designer names at Bonwit Teller, drugstore standards at the pharmacy, unlabelled gambles at the Salvation Armani, and something stranger at Mutatio.
    How long it lasts depends on what it is. How loud it starts depends on how much you use. Two sprays to the pulse points is correct. Four is bathing in it, and everybody can tell. It fades through the day, washes off in the shower, and bottles run out, so the good stuff is a decision.

    People notice, and they have opinions
    How close somebody needs to be depends on how much you have on. A stranger in the street needs you wearing a lot. A girl you are already talking to needs much less. In bed the question does not arise.
    Ten named characters have their own taste, and it is a decision rather than a dice roll. Wear the same thing around somebody often enough and it becomes your signature with them, at which point they stop remarking on it. That is the point. Change bottle and they notice immediately.
     
    Everyone else smells of something too
    A well-groomed man is wearing something and wearing it right. A man who needed a shower this morning is sometimes wearing far too much of something cheap over a problem it is not fixing.
     
    Applying is gendered. Wearing is not.
    Perfume goes on a woman and aftershave on a man. But whatever is already on you stays on through a transformation. You cannot top it up, because the bottle will not work on you any more. You can only wash it off, and until you do, people have things to say about it. Not all of them unkind.
     
    One bottle Mutatio keeps behind the counter
    It is not perfume. She is quite clear about that, and noticeably less clear about what it actually is.
    It buys you a great deal of attention and no say at all in whose.

    57 Bar Girls have code support for alternate images as well as those images. Many of them have more than one option.

    Suzie Morehead and Friends, plus my 2 independant bar girls (Cookie and Ganja Sisters) expand out the number of Bar Girls with alt images to 83.

    Kokopelli calls you to his service, directing you to knock up as many women as possible. Beware, pulling out is not allowed and can have consequences...
    Kokopelli can also bless you in several ways, but his gifts can come at significant cost.
     
    To begin his quest, search the jungle near the beach, but keep in mind that Kokopelli does not accept excuses! You may be better off if you wait until your character is more advanced to start.
     
    Probably still has bugs and definitely still a work in progress. Not compatible with the Pregscare mod, pregmod, Dredding Intimacy, or the NPC pregnancy mod (no longer necessary as it's included in the base game for XCL 0.21.6+). Spike Fun seems to be ok, but there are no guarantees.
     
    NOTE: Kokopelli's Servant does not require any additional mods to work correctly, but most people that play it will probably want some bar girl mods. Keep in mind that having lots of old bar girl mods can cause issues with the base game as well as with this mod.

    She told you she was on the pill. She never said which pill.
    Some of the women at The Broken Drum are on X-Change themselves, and once you know that, the bar reads differently. Originally written by **datdude69** in 2023 and rebuilt from the ground up for 0.25.6 with his blessing.
     
    SHE'S ON SOMETHING, AND IT ISN'T BIRTH CONTROL
    Any woman in the bar who takes a pill has a decent chance of being on X-Change instead. It is decided once per girl and settled for the rest of your save, so she is a person rather than a coin flip you re-toss every evening. You set how common it is in Mod Settings, anywhere from a few of them to all of them, and it applies to every bar girl in your load order whether she came with the game or with somebody's mod.
     
    WHICH PILL SHE'S ON MATTERS
    Basic, Breeder, Bimbo, Compliant or Show-Off. It is not a label sitting on her record: a Bimbo girl talks like one and does her makeup like one, a Compliant girl says yes, a Show-Off girl is dressed for it and much harder to bore, and a Breeder girl wants one specific thing and will tell you so while you are still deciding. And it wears off. Basic is the common answer and lasts a single day, which is exactly why she keeps asking you to cover the next one. The woman you met on Tuesday is not quite the same woman on Friday.
     
    ONLY A BASIC ACTUALLY PROTECTS HER
    The game already answers this and most people have never noticed. Basic is impossible to get pregnant on. Breeder is the opposite of that. The rest promise nothing at all.
    So she will still tell you to finish inside her, and she will still mean it, and four pills out of five she is wrong about being covered.
     
    SHE MIGHT LEAVE YOU ONE
    Please her and there is a pink box on the nightstand in the morning, with or without an explanation depending on her mood. The first one is always a Basic. After that, sometimes it is not.
     
    SHE MIGHT NOT ASK FIRST
    Disappoint her and it goes into the water glass by the bed instead. You get a chance to notice.
    What she reaches for depends on how she feels about you: a woman out to humiliate you picks a very different pill from one who just wants company. It runs on the game's own spike system, so your Spike
    Payload settings are honoured, the intellect check is the same roll you get everywhere else, and turning off non-con turns this off completely.
     
    SHE EXPECTS YOU TO PAY HER WAY
    Invite her to the Electric Pickle and she rings back while you are getting your jacket on, because her current pill runs out around eleven and she is not spending the night at the Pickle in the wrong body. A hundred dollars. Your call, and she will remember either way.
     
    SHE TALKS ABOUT IT
    Coy if she barely knows you, outright if she likes you, and she will name the actual pill once she trusts you. Ask her opinion on X-Change and she answers as somebody who takes them, which is a
    different conversation from the one the game gives you. If you are at the bar as a woman, girl talk gets its own version.
    Tell her that *you* are on X-Change, using the game's own reveal, and she is far easier to tell than she looks. She may tell you hers.
     
    SHE REMEMBERS WHAT SHE DID
    Walk up to her as a girl afterwards and she will have something to say about it.
     
    CONTENT FOR FEMALE PLAYERS
    The whole conversation layer has a female route, and the reveal tie-in is at its best from that side.
    The post-sex spike is male-only, because the game's own spike system is.
     
    WORKS ON SAVES ALREADY IN PROGRESS
    No need to start over. The girls are picked up the next time you walk into the bar.
     
    PLAYS WELL WITH EVERYTHING

    This is a simple mod that changes NPC appearance at the Broken Drum.  Its set in the Settings menu. Cosplay included by default now.

    This also adds options for larger bets with Dredd. The more you play blackjack, the higher your limit goes.

    Option 1: Three Slots for base game NPCs ad three slots for additional Bar Girls (recommended for 16+ Bar Girls installed)

    Option 2: Add 6 Additional Slots for a total of 9 Slots.

    Request NPC: A 75% that you will get a bonus NPC spawn slot with your requested NPC in it. You must know the NPCs ID.

    SPIKE FUN NOTE: This mod plays nice with Spike Fun. Just make sure Spike Fun loads first.

    DatDude's Demo Experiments
     
    A common complaint on Discord: there just aren't enough sales demos, so the job gets stale fast. This mod fixes that. Five new alternate demos, more video variety, new NPCs, new dangers, and new ways to build your sexual reputation — plus 13 new achievements and a shared unlock system. It's also built so other modders can plug their own demos into the same system.
    Be careful. These demos can get dangerous.
     
    Hypnosis — a hypnotist with dirty tricks and a pregnancy fetish.
    Barista — he doesn't care if you orgasm on a Dumb Bitch, so watch yourself.
    Pharmacy — the pharmacist may hand you an unknown pill with nasty side effects, like a Resistance or a Breeder.
    Pool Cleaner — a stay-at-home housewife who's... strangely normal. She's hot, she's lonely, give her some attention.
    Realtor — a straightforward sale that doesn't stay professional for long.
     
    New in version 1.9.0: a "Follow up" storyline at the mall. If you've completed a Barista demo while selling a Dumb Bitch pill, there's a new barista — Bexley — working at Jitters, inside the Paradise Mall. Meet her across repeat visits, and she won't stay the same girl for long: how you treat her leaves a mark. The visits can go more than one way depending on who you are and who else is around — including one run-in with Purple-Pill-Alexia. It comes with its own achievements to chase, and a spoiler-tagged content guide is tucked into the mod archive for anyone who wants the full map.
     
    NEW: DatDude's Petal Rx Demo — a sixth demo, and a whole new way to get demos like it
     
    This ships as its own, separate download on top of everything above (see INSTALLATION) — a sixth alternate demo, plus a system that makes marathon-length demos like it show up more than once.
     
    Petal Rx isn't a pitch meeting, it's a full working day undercover as a client's own shadow rep. 
     
    Gated the same way the others are: GoodGirl Basic or Max, at a healthcare (or tech, on the regular daily roll) company, once Alternate Demos are unlocked — no separate unlock needed if you've already got the main pack running. It shares its pill types with core's own GoodGirl demo, so if both ever show up the same day, the 1 AP switch trick described below gets you the one you actually want.
     
    Big Demo Offers is the new delivery system: once you've unlocked every base-game pill's demo AND Alternate Demos, Michael starts occasionally putting a whale-tier "wholesale inquiry" on his desk — a full shift in somebody else's job, for a client worth giving up the day for. It also folds in the base game's own marathon demos (Hot n Ready, Insta-Strip, SECRET-ary, Dairy Queen), so those keep coming back as a repeatable top-tier lead instead of drying up once you've seen them. Your very first offer through this system is always Petal Rx. This ensures that the more time-consuming demos are actually worth some of the extra effort they require.

    HOW TO UNLOCK
     
    Hit sales level 2 at the Sales Job. Your boss pulls you into his office and clears you for "Experimental Demos." They're on by default — after that, use the notice board in the break room to toggle them off or back on anytime.
     
    If another mod breaks the intro scene (Usagi666's "Cold Calling Interruptions," older versions of my own Cold Calling Improvements, or anything that touches the :: work options passage), there's a break-room failsafe that unlocks you directly. Either way, the sign-up toggle appears once you reach level 2.
     
    WHICH DEMO DO I GET?
     
    Each demo is tied to specific pills, and two also require certain company types:
    Hypnosis, Barista, Pool Cleaner — any company.
    Pharmacy — event, hospitality, marketing, lifestyle, spa, gym, tech, travel, healthcare, or maritime companies only.
    Realtor — real estate, event, hospitality, marketing, lifestyle, service contractor, tech, or farm companies only.
    Hypnosis and Barista both cover Dumb Bitch / GoodGirl Basic / GoodGirl Max, so on some days you'll qualify for either. When that happens you're randomly assigned one, with the other shown locked behind a 🔒. Spend one Action Point to unlock free switching between every demo you qualify for that day. No console commands needed — just play, and pay the single AP if you'd rather pick than leave it to chance.
     
    Several new achievements are spread across all modded demos and follow ups.
     
    INSTALLATION
     
    You need:
     
    - DatDude's Demo Experiments — all five demos, the Jitters follow-up, the unlock sequence, and the achievements. Requires base game 0.25.5 or later.
    - DatDude's Petal Rx Demo (optional, but recommended) — the sixth demo and the Big Demo Offers system described above. Requires Demo Experiments 1.9.5 or later, and loads after it.
     
    Install with the Official X-Change Life Modloader Utility. Do NOT extract the archives yourself — the modloader handles that, and it also loads everything in the right order.
     
    CORRECTION, reversing earlier guidance on this page: it used to tell you to keep the "Sales Demo Framework Backport" mod installed, and that it was required. It is not, not anymore. The base game has shipped the sales-demo framework itself since 0.25.2, and both mods above now list the old Backport as INCOMPATIBLE rather than required. If you still have it installed, remove it. (The separate, long-dead "DatDude's Demo Framework" is a different, mod — still not used here.)

    This adds a casino where you can spend your hard earned escort money. 
     
    This is a work-in-progress and at best a MVP.
     
    I've implemented slots, baccarat, and Texas hold'em. It's functional, reasonably stable but far from feature complete; eg no story elements and such.  I would love to get some feedback on the general idea and some extra play-testing would be awesome. You can currently only visit the casino in the evening. If you're interested my backlog is in the zip file.
     
    This is designed by myself and coded with help from Gemini, I'd like to think about half and half All images are either found using Google or AI generated but are only placeholders: they will all be eventually swapped out. I always have my audio off so there's no audio for now I'm on 0.25.6 currently
