Nyx Aurora Blackthorn keeps these pills in a black lacquered case, each bottle wearing a tiny velvet shroud, and she will tell you, while she rings you up, that the X-Change people make the pill but she makes the pill make sense. Every formulation in the case is a pill you already know with the night added. The part the leaflet undersells is the face. You do not apply the makeup. You wake up and it is simply what you look like now.

• The counter at Mutatio
  • Seven pills, sold for dollars at the base price plus what Nyx calls the night tax: Goth Basic at $125 buys one night as a creature of the night, and the ladder runs up through Resistance at $370, the two-week flagship X-Change Goth at $580, Breeder at $625, Compliant at $705, Cum-Cure at $780 and X-Tend at $870.
  • Every variant is the real pill underneath. The Breeder tide runs, the X-Tend anti-pill lands in your inventory and the growth clock ticks, the Resistance tally counts your releases, Compliant makes refusal a foreign language, Cum-Cure keeps its one exit. The dark is added, never substituted.
  • The counter is the pharmacy's own shop flow with a different clerk, quantity dropdown and all. Nyx has lines for a successful sale and better ones for an empty purse.
  • No Bimbo or Show-Off variants. Their wardrobes disagree, and Nyx refuses to stock an argument.
• The installed face
  • Take anything from the case and the Trad Goth look becomes your face: the portrait changes on the spot, and the look you would normally spend a morning painting is simply there, at full quality, every hour of the transformation.
  • It survives sleep, and the game's usual scolding for falling asleep in makeup knows better than to fire. It survives showers, tears, facials and swimming. Makeup Remover wipes come away spotless and are not spent, because there is nothing sitting on the skin to lift.
  • The makeup room still lets you browse and buy product for later. Applying is another matter: the face in the mirror is already finished, already perfect, already refusing.
  • You learn the Trad Goth look permanently on the first dose. You have, after all, seen your own face. When the pill wears off, whatever look you wore before is restored to the record and your face goes back to being merely yours.
• A craving for black
  • It builds a little every day you are transformed, and past a point it will take a morning from you: an interrupt in the style of the bimbo mall temptation, pulling sometimes toward the racks and sometimes toward Mutatio itself. Resist for an action point, or give in and the day becomes a mall trip.
  • Every black or goth-tagged purchase at Bonwit Teller pays an action point and feeds the hunger, through both the storefront and the fitting-room flow. A native Black filter chip joins the shop, and a 🦇 joins your wardrobe filters.
  • Your charm notices how you dress. An outfit with no black in it clashes with your soul and costs you. Dressed for the dark from crown to heel, with the Trad Goth presentation tier lit, the night approves of her creature and pays you back.
• Nyx knows
  • Five conversations inside the potion shop's existing chat, one new topic per visit: her delight at meeting a factory goth, a playful examination, a scholar's questions about what the installed face feels like from the inside, one sincere speech about why the paint matters, and the verdict. After the arc, you may simply linger in the dark with her, and the craving finds this acceptable.
• The night has a voice
  • While transformed, catcalls, stat changes, the afterglow, transactional sex and the running in-scene commentary all speak in a theatrical goth register: forty-two moments across the game, sitting beside the bimbo voice and never over it.
  • End up goth and bimbo at once, which spiked drinks make possible, and the goth face wins the mirror while the shopping rewards count black and pink alike. Pastel goth is an outcome, not a punishment.
  • Goth pills ride the drink-spiking tables with their own motive weighting, and the side effect is buildable at the New-U machine. Sleep carefully.

Compatibility

• Requires X-Change Life 0.25.9 or newer.
• No base passage is overwritten. Everything arrives through tags, advice and a load-time patcher whose anchors are checked against the base game on every build: if a future update changes a patched line, that one moment quietly returns to base text and reports itself, and nothing else is touched
• Works with the 10 base PCs and any other PC updated for 0.25 who has the Trad Goth makeup style (mod will work on the save and will activate when you have a PC that supports it)
