Q: When would a Bar Girl cage me? A: Fail to satisfy her 😏, get too drunk 🍺, forget her name 😬, or finish inside her without her being on the pill. "Bitchy" girls are especially ruthless — and one of them isn't even doing it out of spite. She just likes it. Bruce's girl might also decide to play a nasty prank on you!
Q: I don't want to deal with a girl like that. Can I turn it off? A: Yep — there's a toggle in the mod options menu. Recommended if you're stacking several bar-girl mods, since more girls means more independent chances one of them is secretly into this.

DatDude's Demo Experiments

A common complaint on Discord: there just aren't enough sales demos, so the job gets stale fast. This mod fixes that. Five new alternate demos, more video variety, new NPCs, new dangers, and new ways to build your sexual reputation — plus 13 new achievements and a shared unlock system. It's also built so other modders can plug their own demos into the same system.
Be careful. These demos can get dangerous.

Hypnosis — a hypnotist with dirty tricks and a pregnancy fetish.
Barista — he doesn't care if you orgasm on a Dumb Bitch, so watch yourself.
Pharmacy — the pharmacist may hand you an unknown pill with nasty side effects, like a Resistance or a Breeder.
Pool Cleaner — a stay-at-home housewife who's... strangely normal. She's hot, she's lonely, give her some attention.
Realtor — a straightforward sale that doesn't stay professional for long.

New in version 1.9.0: a "Follow up" storyline at the mall. If you've completed a Barista demo while selling a Dumb Bitch pill, there's a new barista — Bexley — working at Jitters, inside the Paradise Mall. Meet her across repeat visits, and she won't stay the same girl for long: how you treat her leaves a mark. The visits can go more than one way depending on who you are and who else is around — including one run-in with Purple-Pill-Alexia. It comes with its own achievements to chase, and a spoiler-tagged content guide is tucked into the mod archive for anyone who wants the full map.

NEW: DatDude's Petal Rx Demo — a sixth demo, and a whole new way to get demos like it

This ships as its own, separate download on top of everything above (see INSTALLATION) — a sixth alternate demo, plus a system that makes marathon-length demos like it show up more than once.

Petal Rx isn't a pitch meeting, it's a full working day undercover as a client's own shadow rep.

Gated the same way the others are: GoodGirl Basic or Max, at a healthcare (or tech, on the regular daily roll) company, once Alternate Demos are unlocked — no separate unlock needed if you've already got the main pack running. It shares its pill types with core's own GoodGirl demo, so if both ever show up the same day, the 1 AP switch trick described below gets you the one you actually want.

Big Demo Offers is the new delivery system: once you've unlocked every base-game pill's demo AND Alternate Demos, Michael starts occasionally putting a whale-tier "wholesale inquiry" on his desk — a full shift in somebody else's job, for a client worth giving up the day for. It also folds in the base game's own marathon demos (Hot n Ready, Insta-Strip, SECRET-ary, Dairy Queen), so those keep coming back as a repeatable top-tier lead instead of drying up once you've seen them. Your very first offer through this system is always Petal Rx. This ensures that the more time-consuming demos are actually worth some of the extra effort they require.

HOW TO UNLOCK

Hit sales level 2 at the Sales Job. Your boss pulls you into his office and clears you for "Experimental Demos." They're on by default — after that, use the notice board in the break room to toggle them off or back on anytime.

If another mod breaks the intro scene (Usagi666's "Cold Calling Interruptions," older versions of my own Cold Calling Improvements, or anything that touches the :: work options passage), there's a break-room failsafe that unlocks you directly. Either way, the sign-up toggle appears once you reach level 2.

WHICH DEMO DO I GET?

Each demo is tied to specific pills, and two also require certain company types:
Hypnosis, Barista, Pool Cleaner — any company.
Pharmacy — event, hospitality, marketing, lifestyle, spa, gym, tech, travel, healthcare, or maritime companies only.
Realtor — real estate, event, hospitality, marketing, lifestyle, service contractor, tech, or farm companies only.
Hypnosis and Barista both cover Dumb Bitch / GoodGirl Basic / GoodGirl Max, so on some days you'll qualify for either. When that happens you're randomly assigned one, with the other shown locked behind a 🔒. Spend one Action Point to unlock free switching between every demo you qualify for that day. No console commands needed — just play, and pay the single AP if you'd rather pick than leave it to chance.

Several new achievements are spread across all modded demos and follow ups.

INSTALLATION

You need:

- DatDude's Demo Experiments — all five demos, the Jitters follow-up, the unlock sequence, and the achievements. Requires base game 0.25.5 or later.
- DatDude's Petal Rx Demo (optional, but recommended) — the sixth demo and the Big Demo Offers system described above. Requires Demo Experiments 1.9.5 or later, and loads after it.

Install with the Official X-Change Life Modloader Utility. Do NOT extract the archives yourself — the modloader handles that, and it also loads everything in the right order.

CORRECTION, reversing earlier guidance on this page: it used to tell you to keep the "Sales Demo Framework Backport" mod installed, and that it was required. It is not, not anymore. The base game has shipped the sales-demo framework itself since 0.25.2, and both mods above now list the old Backport as INCOMPATIBLE rather than required. If you still have it installed, remove it. (The separate, long-dead "DatDude's Demo Framework" is a different, mod — still not used here.)

Demanding Loans

Demanding Loans
In my opinion, the loans offered by Pelican Trust in vanilla XCL have three things that get in the way of them being as fun as they could be:

1.) Having 30 days to repay even the very small loans is way too much time. It both makes the loans too easy to repay, which kills the tension, and means that it takes forever to get to the compliance content if you actually want to see it. 30 in-game days can take hours of real-time gameplay, even if you're rushing through things.

2.) Meanwhile, the compliance penalties feel a bit overwhelming for larger loans. The number of partners you have to satisfy for a $5000 loan can definitely seem a bit tedious, after a while. It just doesn't quite seem worth it, given the relatively small value you get out of the $5000 once you're past first week or two in game.

3.) The largest loan offered is just a bit too small to feel satisfying. With the number of potential money sinks (pills, clothes, makeup, watches, nano nano upgrades, etc.) you can run through $5000 very quickly, and on the flip side, it becomes relatively easy to earn fairly large amounts at DynaPill once you're a few promotions in and understand the system.

So, I decided to throw together a quick modlet to make the flow of things a bit more interesting.

First of all, I added one additional level of loan you can take out once you unlock the more generous loan options, for $10000, which still feels like a reasonably useful amount even once you have more earning potential.

Also, the amount of time you have to repay a loan scales with the size of the loan. Pelican Trust will give you 3 days to repay a $250 loan, 5 days for a $500 loan, two weeks for a $2500 loan, three weeks for a $5000 loan, and a full month to repay a $10000 loan. Making an interest payment on your loan will similarly scale with the size of the loan. It should still be completely possible to repay your loans, but with the lower time to repay your loans, you might actually be forced to make interest payments to extend the deadline, or fail altogether if you make some particularly large purchases at the wrong time.

And if you should default on your loan, you'll face slightly reduced compliance penalties at the higher end. Still fun, with high enough requirements that you won't be getting out of your "repayment" immediately, but no longer quite so much that they feel like they're going to last forever. Instead of 25 partners after failing to repay a $2500 loan, you'll need to complete an encounter with 20 partners. Instead of 50 partners for a $5000 loan, you'll have to complete an encounter with 30 partners. And if you take out one of the new $10000 loans, you'll have to finish 40 free use encounters before you're released from the Compliance program.

Quick side note: This mod mostly works by setting the due date and other terms of the loans when you receive them, so it won't automatically update any existing loans you have taken out on an old save.

A late stage pregnancy image for each character Unique events during pregnancy for twins Harder pregnancies (can't get pregnancy support quickly, and can't use pregnancy accelerators) Variants of most pregnancy events
The base chance of having twins is 5%. This can be increased at Mutatio, but will lower your base chance of getting pregnant.

Justice for Jia (Reupload)

This is a reupload of a mod originally created by Jirkisklo, Justice for Jia. Justice for Jia adds some new sex positions for Jia, along with new media/videos for the new positions. The original upload of the mod no longer seems to be available, and a couple folks on the XCL discord mentioned that they missed the mod, so after a few tweaks to fix some bugs and typos, I'm making the version I had saved available here. "Justice for Jia 1.1.2.xcl" is the main mod file, with all the actual changes/added positions. "Justice for Jia replacer.xcl" is a media only mod that replaces the video clips for a few of the base game positions. (If I remember right, the clips that are being replaced are clips that used a different redheaded model with a similar body type instead of actually using content from Jia herself.)

This mod adds a set of starting options to your Summer City experience that allow you to add some new twists and turns to how you play the game.

Finances: Tired of being short on cash when you start the game? Or want to have even more of a reason to get out of the house and get to work? Now you can choose how well off you are at the start of the game. You could have as much as $10,000 in your bank account, if you want. Or you can start out owing a $15,000 debt to the bank, with only a couple weeks to start making payments or they'll enroll you in their 'compliance program.'

Employment: Want to skip the hiring process and begin the game with a job offer in hand at Dynapill? Sure. Want to have to work as a secretary first? Yep. Maybe you would get a kick out of an X-Change internship that requires you to show up to work on a pink? Or maybe you would like to start as the office plaything, stuck as a secretary for the first little bit, with a very high sexual reputation hanging over your head and getting you groped?

Secret Kinks: Everyone has their "thing" and now you can, too! Have a handful of Summer City specific fantasies to pick from, each of which can lead you down a dark road of satisfying compulsions and guilt free sex. (Or extremely guilty sex if that's your thing, perv~!)

Quirks: The vast, vast majority of people react to X-Change as intended, experiencing the effects you would expect based on the pill they have taken. But if you want, you can be the exception-- someone with a little twist of tainted DNA or some hidden predisposition that will leave them experiencing some unexpected side effects when they take an X-Change.

Pick your poison and have fun with it, or turn on Locked Randomization to find some unexpected excitement!

This mode replaces the male generic NPCs by purple NPCs (which I named Phemales). You can choose the proportion of phemales to males, You can choose the proportion of these phemales that will have penises based on the girl dick mini game or male dick minigame. All other changes are purely aesthetic. There are 124 Phemales in the mod, and each one has a unique variability of traits. No issues with other mods so far, and I use a bunch of them. -----------------------------

The mod was intended for personal use only, but I think it's nice to share. All images were from public sites and altered digitally; some were redrawn with AI. It is not well integrated in the writing and can have some gender incongruences that I was to lazy to try to fix I was trying to integrate the male npc's with the bar girls, there is a little framework to that in the code. My goal is to have a character that you can have relations with in both male and female forms, but I do not have the time to do these modifications properly. Feel free to use, edit, update, and upload new versions. I love to see variations and improvements around this mod, but don't have the skills and time to do so.

McLurkington's Big Mess (of Small Mods)

Six Seven small mods I threw together for my personal use. These are all pretty basic, just small tweaks that I feel like make the game more fun. Enjoy!

Balanced Stats: Adjusts the player archetypes (Nerd, Jock, Playboy, etc.) so that the stat limits and experience bonuses are a bit more balanced between the different archetypes. Nerd, Jock, and Playboy both get one higher stat that they have an easier time increasing, and two stats that are limited to 6 at character creation, with a normal XP progression. Average characters are the same as they were before, with a starting cap of 7 on all their stats and no bonus or penalties to leveling. Only Losers actually get an XP penalty to their stats.

Keep It Professional: Personally, I think it is a bit odd how effective asking your office coworkers to "keep it professional" is when you're working as a secretary, and it always bugged me that it automatically makes them less attracted to you in general. From what Hailey says once or twice, it definitely doesn't seem like they're inclined to be anything but handsy, or listen to a 'No', so I threw together a quick mod to make that option a bit less of automatic win. When you ask someone to "keep it professional" with this mod, there's a chance it will reduce their arousal as much as it did before (if they're a gentleman or your sexual reputation is low enough). But if they're a breeder, a bully, a fuckboy, or creepy, or if your sexual repuation is too high, they're much less likely to listen. Even if they lose some arousal, it may not be enough to keep them off you for long. Regardless of the outcome, it won't affect whether or not they're attracted to you overall.

New-U Paid Test Subject: Just a small update to Curio's New-U Paid Test Subject mod, provided with their permission. I love the idea of the original mod, but I always felt like the reward you were offered ($50 for using the Spin the Wheel option at the New-U station) wasn't quite enough to really be all that tempting. This new and improved version provides you with a larger bonus immediately ($250 upfront), and a daily stipend of $50 that you can pick up at the New-U Station. (Don't worry, you don't have to pick it up every day, your stipend will accumulate over time until you have a chance to pick it up.)

Night Mall: Goin' to the night mall, at night! (That's it. This just lets you go to the mall in the evenings. No changes to images or locations or anything.) DatDude's Night Mall and Gym Modlet provides the same functionality, but expanded to cover the Gym as well. I'm just leaving this one available in case anyone wants the lighter weight version that doesn't affect the gym.

Save Your Secretary Points: Ever wish you didn't *have* to cash out all your points at the end of the day when you work as a secretary? Well, now you don't have to! Instead, you can do a bit of filing, some organization, and bank those points away for another day instead. (Note: This option does *not* appear when you are working a Secretary demo, and you can't use the banked points for demos. This only applies when you are working at the DynaPill offices.)

The Purple Question: With how much the dynamic between the player and Alexia on a purple pill focuses on dommeyness, teasing, and bratty aggression, it always felt a bit frustrating to me that you pretty much *have* to kick things off by actively suggesting that she take a purple pill. The only time she decides to try it anyway even if you tell her not to is when she's already somewhat dominant and you happen to be on an x-change when she asks. That limits the roleplay a bit too much for my taste, especially when I'm playing a reluctant character that is likely to still be a guy when the purple pill conversation happens. This mod tweaks the purple pill conversation so that there are more circumstances in which Alexia ignores you telling her not to and decides to try a purple pill anyway: She may not listen if she's fairly dominant already (9+), has walked in on you and seen that you have a particularly tiny dick, or has seen you taking X-Change and thinks your objection is hypocritical.

Workout Masculinity: There are so few ways to regain your masculinity, and that bugs me a bit, so I added a small masculinity gain bonus when you go to the gym as a guy. It's only a couple points, but if you want to draw things out and make it last, 2 points a day can really add up.

Breeder Loads: Have you noticed Breeders haven't been quite as Breedery as they were once were? Wondering why you were only seeing 110% or 120% impregnantion chance? Well wonder no more! Because with this mod, they'll be right back up in the big batter leagues, hitting those 150%, 160%, 200% and even sometimes 400% impregnation chance! Have fun!

Hornier Stepsis: The new compulsion for peeking on Alexia is fun, but kind of hard to maintain consistently. This mod makes Alexia considerably more likely to either be in your shower or giving herself some "personal attention" in the mornings, so it's not quite so hard to get in a bit of peeping.

[XCL] [0.25] Blue Pills! Female to Male Transformations and New Start Options!

NOTE: if you are using XCL version 0.25 through 0.25.5, use Blue Pills version 0.1.1. If you are using XCL version 0.25.6 or later, use Blue Pills version 0.1.2.

Pink pills change men into women and blue pills change women into men. This mod adds the second kind to X-Change Life. So if you wanted to be a full-time woman, part-time man, now that option is available!

Plenty of new pills have been added including the manly equivalent of Resistance, Compliant, and Bimbo as well as new pills like Twink, Hunk, and Geek. There's also the Bull pill, which gives you big balls and plenty of breeding potential at the cost of increased horniness and the inability to pleasure yourself - you'll need to find "help" from others, because that urge to breed is strong. Obviously more "normal" pills are available, too.

That's not to say this mod makes for a complete flip of the usual game cycle, as the game at its core is still about a man moving into Summer City and discovering gender-changing pills. What this adds is more ways to experience the world and a way to take a permanent female pill without locking yourself out of male-based content.

So, how does one get to the point where they are a woman that can take blue pills to occasionally turn into a man? There are a few choices in this regard.

Choose one of the new start options to have the character voluntarily take a special Plus pill day 1. From a certain point of view this is the "female start option" as the character already identified as female before arriving and is taking the pill to have their body match their mind. Now they can embrace their femininity right from the start, but can still take a blue pill to re-visit their masculine self every now and then, just for fun. Choose the other new start option to have the character be tricked or forced into taking a special Plus pill day 1. Now they are a woman rather they like it or not. Do they embrace this new femininity, or do they do everything they can to reclaim their manhood with a constant supply of blue pills? They can reverse it with a blue Plus pill, but what are they willing to do in order to afford one? Start the game as normal and once your character is ready, mentally and financially, take a special pink Plus pill available at the local pharmacy. Now they are a woman, having worked hard to get there, but as always the blue pills exist for times when their past male form is called for. If pregnancy permanence is turned on in the settings menu, the character will effectively be on the special Plus pill after the pregnancy ends. Now the blue pills are available if/when they feel the need to revert to their pre-pregnancy self. This feature can be turned off in the mod options. If you are on a regular old-style Plus pill for one reason or another (from another mod or using a prior save file, for example), you can take a special injection available at the pharmacy to "upgrade" to the new version and take blue pills if desired.
This mod is something of a companion to the Department of Identity & Naturality Change mod in that there are additional options for onboarding to a special permanent female pill. Using this mod in conjunction with the blue pills mod is recommended, but not a necessity. This mod still works independently.

You can also use purple pills if you have PURPLED installed! (located separately, some restrictions apply, not subject to guarantee or warranty, use at your own risk)

Also included are a few more options for birth control and fertility treatments not available to the usual men on pink pills. The new Plus pill is so thorough at turning someone into a woman that they will have a more typical fertility cycle, complete with periods (a feature that is kept simple and, for those that don't want such a thing, can be turned off in the mod options menu). Said cycle can contradict other fertility-focused mods, so it can be turned off in the mod options menu to let those mods take precedent.

There is an oddity with the New-U machine in that you have to take a blue pill in order to use it (at least until the F2F option is unlocked in the base game's story). You also need to be on a blue pill if you make a masculinity bet with Bruce and his pills still work if you lose. Doesn't make much sense per the lore, but it was a compromise needed to keep the gameplay functioning.

One other thing to note is that there is no "spiking" with blue pills, in either direction, so you won't get spiked into a man while being a woman, nor can you spike female coworkers. The complexity of the spiking system rendered the task of adding it as something beyond the scope of this mod. With that said, if anybody wants to take a crack at it, feel free to do so.

The offer to add to and improve this mod extends to everything, really. I've done what I could to get this mod up and running but there are always improvements that can be made. I am plenty fine with others helping out and allowing for new things to be added, or even if this mod was taken over completely. After all, it was not my mod to begin with, as it's a continuation/simplification of famed XCL modder datdude69's "New Girl In Town: Female Start Mod". Most credit goes there, and I also want to throw out a thanks to everyone else at the X-Change Life discord for all the advice, assistance, and general good vibes that made this possible. At the end of the day, this was something of a group project, and in my mind one of the more important ones for making XCL the best it can be.

F2F Transformation Tweaks (NOT v.25+ COMPATIBLE)

Please note: This mod has not been updated for v.0.25+ of the game, and is likely going to cause a bug or two. I plan on updating it eventually, but I need to do some testing to see which (if any) of the issues I had with the F2F transformation system are still issues in the current version of the game.

F2F Transformation Tweaks
A few tweaks and adjustments to the way F2F transformations work, to help integrate them into the rest of the game a bit more smoothly and fix some bugs.

Duration: Instead of all F2F transformations having an odd scaling duration based on the pill you had previously taken, they will actually use the duration you select in the New-U menu. Your original pill timer will be paused while you are transformed, and resume once your female-to-female transformation expires.

Pill Status Tooltip: Adds a new line to your pill status while a F2F transformation is active, so that you can see both how long you have left in your new female body and see the remaining duration you'll have on your original pill once your F2F transformation expires.

Side Effects: When you gain a side effect as part of a F2F transformation, the specifics are recorded in the same way as the original pill you were, so that the new side effect (or effects) can be removed once your F2F transformation expires, without affecting any other pre-existing side effects you might have had.

Permanent Transformations: Fixed a bug with how the "X or Permanent ID" side effects and F2F transformations interact. If you succumb to one of those side effects while a F2F transformation is active, you'll get a new message when your F2F transformation expires, and your body won't actually change back. All the other effects of a F2F transformation will still expire. Side effects you gained as part of the transformation will expire, you'll go back to counting as being in "your" female body, and your original pill timer will start running again.

Visit-a-Girl flips the script on the base game’s "Invite a Girl Over" mechanic. Instead of waiting around for her to show up at your place, you ring her up and head over to hers.
📞 What It Does
A new evening activity, "Visit a girl," appears whenever you have someone worth calling. Pick her off a grid, ring ahead, and if she agrees, you’re on your way to spend the evening at her place.
The call is the only gate. If she says yes, you're going, and nothing between her front door and the end of the night can turn you away. If she says no, you head back to the list and try someone else. When the list runs out, that's your evening.
Who appears on your list—and what the call is actually asking—depends entirely on who you are at the time:
As a guy: Shows women whose numbers you have and who you've already slept with. You're asking to come over (no fluff), and the call weighs attraction.
As a girl: Shows anyone who has met your female self. You're asking whether she wants company, and the call weighs friendship.

🏡 At Her Place
Her house is fully persistent—it's the exact same place every time you visit, right down to the atmosphere, what it smells like, and that one working lamp in the corner.
Her home is carefully tailored to suit her personality across seven complete house sets:
💎 Rich girls get the sleek Elysian Heights apartment.
📚 Nerdy girls get a cluttered walk-up down by the Docks.
💖 Bimbos get a pink-and-neon setup off Starlight Boulevard.

The evening itself is a menu of activities that empties as you use it (each action happens once per visit):
As a girl: Chat, host a movie night with the full movie system, grab drinks, ask her to do your makeup, talk about your look, show off your nails, and—if you're far enough along—talk about the baby.
As a guy: Enjoy small talk, have a drink, or let her set the pace. All three end upstairs.

Visit-a-Girl runs completely standalone with zero required mods. However, if you have any of these installed, extra routes automatically open up:

Other girls still will, including an option in their living room to make yourself useful. Past captors appear on your grid regardless of prior hookups. 🍆 Pegged — Girls with the pegging trait react as expected once upstairs. Adds an explicit ask in her living room once she's done it before, plus a heavy thumb on the phone gate—after all, if she has plans for you, she wants you in the house.

Includes an option at her place to make a move that hands directly off to LESBIANED's custom scenes. Visit-a-Girl is built from the ground up to be extended and includes a documented API in MODDING.md.
Eleven passage tags cover the entire visit—from the girl list and phone call stages to the doorstep, living room, bedroom, and night's end. Adding custom activities to her place takes just a single tagged passage:

[XCL] [0.25.6] Pegged

So, you managed to seduce one of the girls at the Broken Drum and things are getting hot and heavy back at her place. But then she sees your little cock...

In the base game that'd be the end of the evening, but with this mod Bar Girls may have the option to turn the tables on you. Purple pills are hard to come by, but Harley, Kendra Lust, Casey Calvert and Alina have all purchased strapons and they're eager to fuck your ass since you can't fuck them.

With PEGGED v2.0 Female Main Characters can now engage in some role reversal when guys try to pick you up at the bar, mall or club. If you're equipped with a Strapon from Neon Desires you can try to talk them into Pegging. Some men will be more willing than others.
