X-Change Life has no shortage of women, but depending on your playstyle and mod setup, the male side of Summer City can start to feel a bit thin.

More Male NPCs expands the pool of male NPC presence in game so the world feels less lopsided and more varied.

This is primarily a flavor and world-population mod. It helps Summer City feel more alive by making male NPCs more available as part of the general background and gameplay ecosystem.

What It Does

More Male NPCs adds additional male NPC support to the game so that men show up more often in situations where the base experience or other mod setups can feel overly female-heavy.

 

Depending on where and how the mod is used, this can help with things like:

• improving general NPC variety;

• making the setting feel less artificially skewed;

• supporting mods or scenes that benefit from a broader male population;

• giving the world a more balanced social backdrop.

 

The goal is not to replace named characters or turn the mod into a major story system.

The goal is simply to make there feel like there are more men around town.

What It Does NOT Do

This is not intended as a major narrative expansion by itself.

It does not:

• add a large new story campaign

• replace your named NPC cast

• overhaul dating systems on its own

• function as a dedicated image pack for one specific feature

• force a particular gameplay style

 

It is best thought of as a supporting expansion that improves the feel of the world and gives other systems a healthier male NPC backdrop to draw from.

Why Use It?

A lot of XCL content—especially once multiple mods are installed—naturally focuses on female transformations, female NPCs, bar girls, or women-driven encounters.

That can be fun, but it can also make the world feel a little one-sided.

 

More Male NPCs helps restore some balance by making the city's male population feel more present.

This can be especially nice if you:

• prefer a more grounded-feeling world;

• want more male social presence in the setting;

• use mods where male NPC availability matters;

• simply don't want Summer City to feel like it forgot half its population.

Compatibility

This is generally the sort of mod that should play nicely with broader setups, but anything that heavily overrides the same NPC sourcing, crowd composition, or scene population logic may require compatibility review.

If another mod is trying to tightly control who appears in a given place or system, it may take precedence or produce unexpected results.

So as always with NPC-population mods:

• more overlap means more chance of interaction;

• major hard replacements are more likely to matter than light integrations.
