I dont think Kimy has been around for awhile. Have not seen any comments recently. Look at all the notes and any forums of Kimy's to see permissions. He is fairly thorough so I am sure there is something somewhere.

*ugh* just checked the license in the thread OP. Models are art, so I literally have to dig through the mod to try to find who created the individual models - bc Kimy just wrote the code lol

/me goes out of his way to include a permissive license but nobody will just read it.

 

Can't speak for the others, but as for my stuff (in the koffii folder), go ahead. All the CC-BY license requires is credit. Do drop me a line if you ever publish it, haha.

Hi, thanks for the amazing mod!

Just wondering, how do you trigger the animation event for a plug/vibrator on a NPC after it's equipped?

= is there a key or menu to play with your NPC's device whenever you feel like and trigger the animation?

 

Edit: found the spelltomes to activate devices while browsing the assets. Works fine, the result is a bit underwhelming compared to the rest but no big deal

Thanks! The yoke is particularly of interest to me because it shouldn't require a lot of fitting.

Hi everyone,

I have been playing DD and it's mods for a long time on LE without issues but after switching to SE...well 🙂. My apologies if this problem as already been addressed and I am incapable of locating the answers in this thread:

I am using the 3ba body and DD NG and I have the following problems left that I would assume have to do with Bodyslide but I really don't know how to fix them (not an expert):

1.) jiggling breasts and chastity bras- when equiping the braw the breasts jiggle and clip through the bra. There is another option for the mesh in bodyslide when you generate the assets but that generates a completely dynamic bra (like a piece of cloth) that just jiggles with the breast. Is it possible to get a static braw where the breasts do not jiggle/ clip through the textures?

2.) plugs- specifically anal plugs. The plug seems to be sinking into the floor and hovers at floor level below my character. I think this is happening to all plugs but definitely to the pump ones and pony tail ones

 

If this is a bodyslide problem for the 3ba body if anyone could kinly post the bodyslide files that fix these issues, I would really appreciate or tell me if there is another body (other than plain CBBE) that I could use where I do not run into theses issues.

Quite a while ago I read something like "if you want to play bondage skyrim, stick to LE, for fancy clothes, go over to SE"

That might be outdated in the meantime, but these things really ran smoother on LE if you know what you're doing.

There should be a toggle somewhere in the 3ba MCM which breast physics you want. Try the other one...

I can say for DD NG that it works out of the box for 3ba on NG. If you scroll up on this the previous page, there are brand new BS files for the plugs. Haven't tried them, but maybe they'll help.

But - other people have been complaining about your exact problem for a while, so there definitely is something not working as intended. I use neither beast races nor DD for him, maybe that makes a difference.

Means it's an SMP plug and you're missing SMP requirement. Far as I know there are only 3 plugs like that, the horsetail-like ones. They have weird names, which I can't recall, but they are respectively: a loose-tail, a braided tail and a braided tail with a bow. No other vanilla DD plug should behave like that, as they are not SMP plugs.

Try enabling the option in the DD MCM to minimize HDT clipping. Normally I'd say that doesn't work for DD because of the changes between LE and SE, but the DD NG guys said they fixed that. If that doesn't work well enough for you, there is a static chastity bra, build the no HDT one. It's the padded bra one.

You don't have FSMP installed, or your FSMP install is not working. Those items require SMP and CBPC is not sufficient.

There never will be. DD is developed on LE and converted to SE. 
You might ask on the DD NG thread where they're developing for SE, but even then I doubt it.

hello, Im having issues with getting the animations working, I have ran fnis and bodyslider.
any device that goes with pop up messages on equip like "tie up", "carry on" will work fine, but likely 100% devices from DD Assests animation wont work as none of these device show the pop up when I equip them like armbinder, yoke etc.
Any idea how do I fix this?

Don't use them, they're heavily outdated. I think the assets are only needed for the keys (and compatibility)

Hi, Kimy, et al.

 

I'm trying to switch over from LE to AE. I own the GOG 1.6.1179.08 version. However, I'm having some difficulties. When I try to launch the game through MO, I get this message from SKSE:

 

"A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates.

 

cbpAS.dll: disabled, incompatible with current version of the game DeviousDevices.dll: disabled, incompatible with current version of the game.

 

Continuing to load may result in lost save data or other undesired behavior.

Exit game? (yes highly suggested)"

 

I don't want undesired behavior, so I can't start the game with DD. Perhaps I should say this is a new game.

 

I tried with just the DD SE version, and then with the NG version as well. Same results. I looked at the past few months of posts here and haven't seen anyone else mention this difficulty. Have you or someone else addressed the cbpAS.dll incompatibility somewhere, and I'm unaware of it?

I discovered that cbpAS.dll is in CBPC Separate Anal Collision 2.2 (CBPC 1.5.6+). Over at that mod, people were kind enough to supply patches that apparently work on different versions of Skyrim SE. The one that at least got my game, GOG 1.6.1179.08, to load, was posted by tznvlw on March 24, 2024 on this page: 

Thereafter are similar patches for version 1.6.1170 and also that are apparently helpful for NPC activity. For anyone who has the same Devious Devices conflict with cbpAS.dll that I did, you might try there.

I guess I wasn't as clear as I could've been when I wrote, "and then with the NG version as well." So yes, I did that. I guess I also could've been clearer when I wrote that I finally solved my problem another way, and went on with how.

As chaimhewast said, DD SE doesn't have a compatible DLL. Others on your GOG version seem to have gotten DD NG to work, so if you still had problems with DD NG, that would be an install error with that mod. 

 

When installing DD NG, you still need DD SE installed, and DD NG overwrites it. It's not one or the other which is why chaimhewast probably brought it up, it's one or both. Make sure you don't have DD SE winning the conflicts. Also remember to delete the DD SE patch that comes with DD 5.2 if you're using the discord version of DD NG. I don't know if the LL version is compatible with GOG or not, but I think it should be.

 

You can try the standalone DLLs from the troubleshooting post, but those are just ancient versions of what is in DD NG. If all else fails, there's a patch there to remove the need for the DLL too, but I don't really recommend it, because it cannot be used with DD NG and that mod has made way too many improvements to DD.

Thank you, zarantha, for your wise advice. I apologize for the delayed response. I had hundreds of mods in my LE version, and I'm working through installing their GOG AE counterparts, plus some new ones. Also, I'm deleting many animations I dislike from SLAL animation mods I'm installing. It takes time.

 

But to the point, yes, I loaded DD NG after DD SE and made certain the former overwrote the latter in both the left and right panes of MO2. I got DD NG from LL, not Discord, and saw no DD SE patch in that version, so no problem there. I tried loading my game with and without the standalone DLLs, ConsoleUtilSSE NG-76649-1-5-1, from your troubleshooting post. Both ways worked. As I'm just starting up, I uninstalled a mod or two I didn't need after all and cleaned my save. This gave me a DD dll error if I did NOT have your consoleUtilSSE NG installed, but no error if it was installed. As this was the first time I used the save cleaner on Skyrim SE, I was fumbling about and may have done something wrong.

 

Regardless, I believe my best course of action at this point in time is to go back to a pre-clean, pre-installation of undesirable/unnecessary mods, and use your ConsoleUtilSSE NG. I expect I'll figure out the cleaning process, and hopefully I won't have any more trouble.

The DD SE patch is in DD 5.2's install, not DD NG's install. DD SE/AE/VR installs it automatically. It's called "Devious Devices SE patch.esp".
(LL is messing up pictures again for me, hopefully this sorts itself out before you see it)

I went back to an early save with DD SE/AE/VR v5.2 and DD NG v3.7 installed, their prerequisites, and some inconsequential mods. I ran the game with those two loaded, with them loaded but removing Devious Devices SE patch.esp, both with and without ConsoleUtilSSE. In every case, the game loaded. I added a hobble dress to my character's inventory and put it on her. In every case, something happened I don't remember ever seeing before. My character's body turned to a faint black mist. Her head was unchanged.

 

Do you know what's going on? Do you know what I need to do to fix it?

Either the bodyslides haven't been built correctly, or you have something worn that is causing the device hider to hide everything. With DD NG, the way to disable device hider is to set everything to none for both devices underneath sections. If that doesn't make it show up, then odds are it's something with the bodyslides. Make sure your path is set right in the bodyslide settings (it should point to data) then batch build again. As a quick test, build just that one outfit - with a single outfit bodyslide will tell you the path it's going to. Examples of checking bodyslide are also on the troubleshooting post.

Of course. The bodyslides. I forgot to run BodySlide. I didn't know about disabling the device hider, though. In all likelihood, you saved me hours of struggling.

 

So I ran BodySlide with all zeroes for all attributes on both sides of the main field to disable the device hider. Then I ran BodySlide with the leather hobble dress. I loaded the game and added one to my character's inventory. I had her put just that on. It showed up. No black mist. Wonderful. Thank you, zarantha. I am most appreciative for your help.

 

I looked to see what I had activated of the three mods DD SE/AV/VR v5.2, DD NG 3.7, and ConsoleUtilSSE. They're all activated, but with the Devious Devices patch SE.esp turned off in the right pane of MO2 as you advised. I still don't understand exactly what's going on with those three mods, but they're working, so I'm afraid to touch them. I'll be careful to leave them the way they are.

 

On a side note, I created a "Bodyslide output" folder the way the S.T.E.P instructions say and pointed BodySlide to put everything there instead of the game's data file. It did. Which was nice, because all the time I played LE, I was confused about where everything went. I'm not so good at this kind of thing sometimes. Obviously.
