Did you run whichever animation tool you have installed after installing DD? FNIS or Pandora? (Nemesis is hit or miss on if it works, and if you use it make sure you have DD NG installed over DD as well.)

 

If you have DD NG already, you'll need to move over to that thread.

For some reason the devious devices don't break with Breakable Equipment. Is there some way to allow other mods to detect the armour devious devices adds?

No. Doing so would likely break how devices are supposed to function and you would end up with broken devices that aren't visible, or can't be removed. The most I'd recommend is getting Unforgiving Devices, which has it's own degrade mechanic for the locks (not the devices) as part of the escape minigame.

I cant get the furniture to work. My character goes up and locks themselves in but then the piece of furniture disappears and my charater stands normally. Another  NPC comes over and does the same thing. I ve checked and I have eveythng I should need. Im wearing some of the devious clothing so im hoping thats not the cause. Also I attached a log that I think might help 

 

Also is their a way to remove the devious clothing through a command

I use BHUNP and download the bodyslide, but find the BHUNP hobble dress is strange. Is that means i should try to fix it myself in bodyslide or the file I download has some mistake?

A screenshot of a log is worse than useless. None of those errors are related to DD. Attach the file itself just like you did the screenshot.

 

What do you mean by devious clothing? Devices from this mod? or some other mod?

Are you sure the furniture is from DD and not ZAZ?

What 'clothing' exactly and what furniture exactly? We need the names.

 

You cannot remove devices with a single console command because of the way devices work. Remove it properly in game by struggling or using a key, or use some other mod to remove the device like DD Equip or Unforgiving Devices.  If you must remove it by console, there's two devices you need to remove, it's easiest to stick everything in a container aside from the device you're wearing, then list your inventory and remove the item. If you don't know what you're doing in the console, I'm not going to walk you through it, it's a good way to break the device permanently if you do it wrong. 

 

Do you use DD NG? If so, you're in the wrong place.

BHUNP isn't included in base DD 5.2 it's just UNP. Ask wherever you got the BHUNP conversion from, they aren't supported here.

But looking at it, it looks like it needs adjustment in outfit studio - possibly some new sliders for the body/preset that aren't in the original DD BHUNP conversion.

Easiest way to fix is to install DD NG on top of DD. 

If you don't want to do that, there are updated DLLs on the troubleshooting post, but they are just old versions of the DD NG DLL.

That seems to have worked, though now I gotta go to the SoS forum because for some reason now that has a problem

It's not required but if you have no issues using it then it's preferable for the improvements it has.

NG is not required, but has a ton of improvements for DD due to modding advances in SE. So it is highly recommended even if you aren't on 1130/1170. It's also the simplest solution for the outdated DLL for those versions.

 

For SOS, make sure you get the AE DLL with the plugin order fix, otherwise it will make you CTD when you change your load order. Or switch to TNG (the new gentleman).

Yeah, I remember the link but looking at it again, it's from 2020. BHUNP has probably updated since then and sliders added or changed. so the conversion would need to be updated, and that's done through outfit studio not bodyslide.

 

Tutorials on converting outfits also cover how to fix clipping like what you have if you want to try it yourself. SunJeong's youtube tutorials seemed good the one time I looked them up for someone else. Basically add the new bhunp reference merging in sliders, fix the clipping, make sure weighting hasn't changed, then save. After that you can rebuild it in bodyslide. It's not hard once you get used to it, but it is tedious.

Is there a way to make only one piece of armor have visible devices under it? Removing it from mcm makes it visible on every other armor.

Give the armor the "Zad_NoHide" keyword.

Hi

I have an issue with Devious Devices

My Skyrim is 1.6.1170.
I use Vortex.

After having started a new game, saved, then reloaded, I got the following error message:

"An error has occured with your installation of Devious Devices
Please check the log for more information.
Error test :
DDNG : 'Devious Devices SE Patch' ESP is active.
This ESP is no longer required and will cause issues.
Disable the ESP ins your loadorder or remove it."


I then deactivated the ESP file ("Devious Devices SE patch.esp")
But after reloading the last saved game, I immediately get this error:

$SaveGameMissingUnidentifiedSearch


What do I have to do ?
Restarting a new game?
Unstalling a mod?
Something else?

ok kinda at my wits end here so i have a problem with some of the butt plug vibrations lasting 15,20,30 and even 45 rl mins. is there any way for me to sorta bring that into a reasonable range.

switch your arousal mod or check for an update. there's at least one (slax) that has a bugged arousal where it never stops vibrating.

so im using Aroused NG that was in the ponze dump because it was the most up to date. should i not use it or what one would u recommend

The first two didn't work out for me, so i never really used them. if menu maid 2 isn't working, can't help you. remove some mods with mcms and get under the limit is all i can suggest. or get rid of the undressing mod.
