It's not a DD issue. DDe is a completely different mod.

It's  updated now, only took me 6 hours of asking myself wtf did i do before.

 

Download the updated DLL from the troubleshooting post in the beta 5.2 section.

Hey, I noticed some crafting materials, specifically Dragon Nuts, Black Goo and Ancient seeds, that seem to produce deviant effects (like summon device and aphrodisiacs). Does anyone know which deviant mod causes that, and where I might be able to find a list of the new recipes or ingredients? Or what the conditions are for finding them?

Basically, anything lol

However, the solution for me didn't work as it need to locate a file called "HR_ChainHarness_kha.nif" in shape data which I do not have:

There's two of that bodyslide. The one with a space between chain harness and khajiit is correct iirc, the one you have highlighted can be deleted or ignored.

Or just upgrade your bodyslides to the 5.2 version from the troubleshooting post. You don't need to grab the whole beta mod, the bodyslides are linked separately.

Is it possible for any mod to adjust the height of gags or blindfolds(the corresponding slots) in the racemenu?Just like the options of weapons and quivers

It would be much more convenient for different face presets or standalone races

If you have xEdit (sseEdit), it shouldn't take too much effort to find out what items are added by a mod. Just open xEdit and load the plugin you want information on. Everything grouped under that plugin are the assets the mod adds to the game. There should be a tab called constructible objects that allows you to find every crafting recipe added by the mod. It should give you an idea of what ingredients are used in crafting.

Definitely not something for this beta, but suppose you could equip a catsuit and then a straitjacket to get a straitjacket catsuit? Seems like something that would be a ton of work; first to actually get the system working, but also to add every single possible combination of straitjacket and catsuit.

 

Let's face the facts. As novel a concept as this would be, unless there is a way to dynamically change the texture set of part of an item via scripts, this idea is not long for the world of implementation. It would be too many armor addons.

No, there's no option in racemenu aside from adjusting your face to match the default head shape/size so the gags and blindfolds fit.

 

But Roggvir is working on something outside of racemenu. Haven't tried it myself. He said he's expanding out from gags too, so you could ask there about blindfolds.

There is a straitjacket catsuit and variations in the beta already. you do not get it by wearing a straitjacket and a catsuit, but it is it's own device. Since both are body items, they are mutually incompatible unless doing it by combining them into a single device.

Thanks to you, I finally fidgeted with the darned thing (sseEdit) until it got it working (I have the VR version, so I figured it was just broken). Much obliged!

Hello. I'm having issues with the tails from the mod. They don't work at all, the appear misplaced (The plug is under the ground). The rest of the devices work perfectly fine. I used bodyslide and they fit the body of the character. It seems to happen only for these four pony tails (Other plug work). Do you know how to fix it?

Fix your SMP. The tails require SMP to be working, if it's not, they are on the ground. CBPC is not a replacement for this.

 

I'd recommend using Faster SMP as it works for both SE (1.5.97) and AE (1.6.xxx).

(using dd 5.2 beta 7) i have a strange problem, for some reason successfully unlocked devices doesn get removed, it says "you successfully unlocked the iron chastity belt!" (manipulated devices are not removable too) but the belt remains worn, only way so far to remove devices is via DCL's "saveword" or DD's "terminate DD quests"!
am i missing some settings or is this a bug?

Thanks, it worked. I already had HDT-SMP installed but the issue was there. I tried the one you mentioned (Faster SMP) and now it's fine.

you have a mod 'no enchantment restrictions' or something like it. Or you have patches for old versions of DD installed. Remove all patches and nothing should be overwriting DD except DCL or ZAZ.

THX! the old "SLIF patch installer" was causing it!:P
but is there a patch for 5.2?:/

Whenever I try to build DD stuff in bodyslide, it would show this. I have tried restarting my pc but no luck. I use 3BA, I have all the requirements for the mods as well as requirements for the required mods.

Somewhere in the last few pages (20? more? less? don't remember) someone else did one. You'd need to make sure you grabbed the beta 7 one, as the script is changing between beta versions. I wasn't planning on doing it until DD is out of beta because of that, and because I've stopped using it myself and let Racemenu handle all the morphs now. SLIF is just extra baggage to me now. :P
