Looking forwards to getting Thalia and several of my other sims into university in a couple of days, and actually playing the game, lol. Here's some pictures I took of her, recently made som small changes to her, mostly to her bodyshape, somewhat different breast shape and I changed the cleavage detail.

 

            

 

            

 

I hope that sims that do go to the universities added can still interact with sims who aren't attending so I can have non-students and such as well for them to interact with. Have they said anything about the details of the new world added? Is it a proper world or a "destination world" like the wooded vacation spot (can't remember the name)? Number and size of lots?

 From the live stream it looks like an actual world, with the two universities on either side and a "townie" section in between. One of the houses is an elderly couple and their teenage grandson, and they mentioned they were "living there and annoyed with the sudden influx of young adults" so it looks like it's definitely a new world, not just a destination world.
But sims can also live at home or in any of the other worlds and travel in for classes and university activities.

Thanks! I'm not too good at finding this information myself ? Can anyone attend university or is it only young adults? I assume this might be the case, though realistically *anyone* could in theory be attending university. One of the things I'm most looking forwards to is the new world, what kind of place is it? I really liked the California/LA aesthetic of the world in Get Famous (Sulani is also nice, but doesn't quite work for me in a residential sense), but it's a bit too small in terms of number of lots. I'm guessing a New England or more general east coast thing might make sense for a town with two universities, that could be neat.

No stress!

 

Anyone can attend from YA to Elder, but teens can visit to get information and figure out what university they want to attend when they finish high school.

 

The campuses have different styles, with Brichester being more like the Ivy-league, old building style university, and Foxbury being more modern with sharp corners and big glass windows and such. To be honest, I wasn't paying the best attention when they showed the world, but the image I found seems to be showing fewer lots than what they were talking about? I swear, when they selected university housing it came up with three options... unless that was one from each campus and one of the other private dwellings? *shrug* We'll find out for sure in like a week.

Some other things they discussed:

 

Classes are rabbithole, and the campuses each seem to have about 2-3 university housing options, with a kind've dorm room set up. There was also a residential lot on the campus (and whether you live there or off-campus, you can take on university roommates to help with bills, but campus housing seems to be free). There's a dining hall/hang out area, which seems to provide food for free (included in tuition?), and a library/study area. 

You can't use build mode in a dorm with an active sim living there (except with the bb cheat), but can buy a whole bunch of dorm specific stuff (and bikes!) from little kiosks. 
Dorms don't have kitchens, but you can have access to food with a mini-fridge and microwave.

 

Sims can woohoo with the Servo bot which they can get/build through maxing out robotic skills, so I'm assuming he/she can be used in Wicked Whims stuff, too. 

Servo, once activated, joins the household, so you can control them and instruct them to do things. Keep them away from water.

You can also create little flying robots that clean, garden, cook(?) and something else.

 

Sims can get pregnant while living in a dorm, but apparently babies and toddlers aren't supported in the dorms? I don't know if they will FORCE you to live somewhere else if you have a kid at university, but I would assume you could kick out one of the roommates if it was a capacity thing? They did say you could have kids in the residential housing, so maybe babies would be sent back to family in other worlds? Not sure.

 

You can have up to 10 sims in a dorm in total (so 1 sim = 9 dormmates, 4 sims = 6 dormmates, and so on?).

@2cool4u_1 There will be so many people suddenly needing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in her segment of the beach. ? Poor hardworking Angela! I bet she still has a PTSD from Genji's unending "I need healing!", too.

 

BTW, I've expanded the set to be more generically usable and even added this alternative bikini look. It turned out pretty well (and cute), I think. The set is now available for download in my stuff here, with the description and credits here.

 

 

EDIT: @R-Lo Lovely job with the slide animations! ? And the pillows, too! I suggest adding DDLC's Monika. She's the best, after all, so don't leave her hanging.

Something different this time... I made a wizard, witch and vampire, to try the Realm of Magic. I'm pretty happy with all of them, but the vampire guy - I feel I nailed.

 

Ivanka, young witch with abundant sexual appetite summoned him as her pet. She may be a master in sexual magic but isn't a great summoner. So she has no idea what kind of creature he is, especially that he pretends to be just a minor vampire earning a living as a cheapandale.

 

But other vampires know and come from distant places to hail.
