More Nasty Critters Special/Anniversary Edition

I'm having a weird, disturbing but like I've never seen before, but it only occurred within the last 24 hours for me.. (between 9pm EST 5/26/24 - Now (11:12pm 5/27/24)).. And before people start yelling at me because of how stupid this sounds:
YES I KNOW CREATURE ANIMATIONS DON'T WORK WITH NEMESIS, I just haven't figured out how to get FNIS and Nemesis to cooperate, since everyone keeps saying that they're incompatible.

 

Anyway, now that the ranting is out of the way, I downloaded the following mods (I'll list them at the bottom) last night, and upon testing the load order this morning I noticed that all the creatures/animals had invisible textures. I could still interact with them (player interactions, attacking, console interactions), they're physical presence was still there, but they were completely invisible. I went through the plugins I had downloaded, and noticed that Vortex was reporting some missing master files, so I downloaded those. Still had the issue, so I went back to the mod pages and looked if there was a LO requirement. Sure enough, there was, so I did that manually since LOOT's autosort had misplaced most of their deploy slots. Problem kept existing.

At this point, I was getting rather frustrated. I knew for certain that Cave Bears, Saddled Horses, that random Stray Dog were invisible, so I tried looking through xEdit to see if there was any texture overwrites.. Spoiler Alert, I have no fucking clue on how to read xEdit.. I had no idea what I was looking for, and the only issues that I could find was a ton of red flags on the armor addons from Skyrim Lustful Animals, because xEdit was complaining on how they were overwriting USSEP..

I went back and looked through the files for the mods I had downloaded, and noticed that I was missing a split-volume .rar.00# file for Lustful Animals, and noticed a MegaLink.txt file in the downloads that had the whole mod in one file. Downloaded the mega link and then the mod itself, problem persisted. I really want to use these mods, but I am at my wit's end with this bullshittery. If someone could please help me understand what the kentucky fried fuck is going on, and how to fix it, that would be amazing.

Note: I would post a link to Modwatch for my full LO, however as of right now (5/27/2024), I am constantly getting Modwatch Server API errors, and I have no idea why. I've tried reinstalling Modwatch completely (deleting complete file directory / reinstall) multiple times, but to no avail. I am currently running Skyrim AE v1.6.1170.0, with the up-to-date SKSE64. I could probably attach the plugins.txt that Vortex creates, however I am not sure if that'll be sufficient.

There are instructions everywhere on getting FNIS and NEMESHIT to work together. Fucking seriously…

i have nothing to do with "Lustful Animals", nor do i support it.

 

and those werewolf mods are likely conflicting to hell and back.

Have not bothered to try to use them together for a while since it seems like to much of a bother, but as I remember, you need to have one of them disabled at a time.

Run the import of animations.

Change which one is disabled and run the other mods import.

Then have both active when playing.

But I might remember wrong.

based on the permissions tab i would have to do it indirectly.

 

but if anyone wants to patch it for themselves: use nifscope to delete the body mesh from MNC's/ABC's nif files and then copy the new body into it (copy the body to the penis, not the penis to the body, doing it this way will be less work)

am i a fucking idiot 1 2 3 neither one of them can be detected as a split file i extracted the first one into the folder that 2 and 3 are in and 7zip doesn't recognize any of them as split files to combine

Make sure they’re named right. Use 7zip. Place all in one folder and extract only the first. You don’t combine yourself. They extract to 1 file.

So. Since the changes for Werewolves happened i've got an issue I can't seem to work out.

I'm using this, customised to use a female model that's different from MNCs female model for NPC Werewolves, etc. ESP is loaded after MNC and late in my load order. The console states the ESP is used when transformed to a Werewolf but for some reason even though this mod is meant to separate the transformed female model to a unique one, when checking my character the records for the Armor Addon are those of MNC even though it should be forcing the player character to use the unique location.

 

Images included of the ESP and what it does and then also the changes in-game that don't seem to be taking effect.

odd, that should be working (that is to say mnc/cf should not be working on it)

are you sure that your not playing as a custom race? because those kind of player only edits need to be patched for custom races (Eg: blaze69's Selachii shark race would not work with that mod, nor would any of bad dog's races)

No custom races. Just playing as a Breton, tried as Nord, etc same thing.

 

Normally i'm good at making patches and fixing stuff but this one truly has me stumped :) Like you said, by all accounts this ESP should be working and forcing the player to use a unique skin when transformed but it's bizarrely not.

just to make sure i dl all 3 files i put all 3 files into one folder which i named MNC to keep it organized and then i extract the 001 into the same folder that has 002 and 003? Are the 002 and 3 files supposed to stay as 002 and 003 file types? sorry for making this complicated when its probably the easiest thing to do but ive never seen split file types so my brain is cooked lmfao

I've tried multiple mods to make my character use a unique mesh for female werewolves and regardless, MNC wins every time. Back to investigating lol...

Not sure if it is this, but it is still a good hint:

Maybe you did not disabled the Werewolf aroused mesh replace in the Creature Framework menus. The moment a listed creature reach arousal high limit or sexlab event, it gets replaced with the creature framework selected version.   If you mean the default werewolf mesh, then it depends if it is a direct mesh replacement or a new form redirection via plugin. If it is a plugin form overwrite, then it could be a mod order issue. If it is a mesh replace, it is a mod deployment order issue in the mod manager.  I bet is a plugin driven formid redirect to new werewolf skinnaked entry that got rolled back by plugin form overwrite.

I actually not sure if the werewolf in game conversion is an enforced equipment, but it looks like a skinnaked swap.

It turns out it's Nightmare Night causing the issue.

 

The strange thing is, i've never had issues with Nightmare Night before. I wonder if it's related to it overwriting the Werewolf change script. If I disable NN and try Growl for example then the ESP changes I have from Female Player Werewolf work and my character transform with a unique model separate from MNCs mesh.

on the esp side i don't see it effecting anything to do with the werewolf's body (werebears on the other hand are fucked)

....but the mod also has a skse plugin, so that i have no clue what it could be doing.

Hello,

 

Im trying to figure out why when I active creatures in SL, it makes all animations from humans the creature set. My female animated right, but is still animating a creature animation, but the male is in the creature slot and therefore is messed up. Any idea why this would be happening and how to fix it? been trying everything, reinstalling it all in MCM and in MO. Loading up in xedit right now but Im at a loss.

corrupted sexlab registry maybe?

Oh yay thank you for the response! I'm about to head to bed but ill do that tomorrow and update you on if it worked! *Fingers crossed* because I'm at my wits end. I've done some of those things but maybe not all of them or in that order in SLAL so tytytyty! Update you tomorrow! =D

Where do I find the spells for Hentai Creatures without having them dumped on me? I've met a few magic vendors but not a single one had them.
