MadMansGun Posted June 23, 2024 Author Posted June 23, 2024 1 hour ago, Akula1324 said: winrar just having that program installed messes up the file name of 001 when you download it, it should be exactly called "MoreNastyCrittersSE_v15_5(SplitVolumeFile).7z.001" not "MoreNastyCrittersSE_v15_5(SplitVolumeFile).7z.001.rar" delete/rename the file extension then 7zip will be able to extract it.

( i downloaded the files off the site to test them and they opened fine on my end ) ....also i should probably ask this: your not trying to open theses from a networked/nas hard drive are you? because i remember someone reporting that 7zip won't open files on them. 1

Hello its me again exactly the same error and i downloaded it normally on my pc without anything special maybe doing a complete data pack on another site and link to it?

I was downloading on an external drive (E drive). I moved download location to my D drive and it seems to work now. Thanks.

Of the ones I checked in my playthrough, horses, dogs, and sabrecats don't have anything, but most other creatures (eg foxes, wolves, huskies, german shepherds, bears, gargoyles, and more) all are working properly. I have the latest versions of ABC and MNC installed and no other mods touching dogs or horses. What's odd to me is that this pretty much a brand new playthrough, and in previous playthroughs I had no problem with all animal penises showing up. I'm at my wit's end trying to figure this out, and any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Edited June 25, 2024 by mastga

I'm at my wit's end trying to figure this out, and any pointers would be greatly appreciated. open the console and click on them, you may find clues to the problem there (eg: base form last edited by / equiped armors and other things like that) also turn on the "Debug outputs" in the cf mcm so it can give some clues in the logs.
mastga Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 (edited) Spoiler This is what I get when I spawn a horse, the simply faster horses mod just changes the stamina offset of the horses to max without modifying any other values in xEdit. As for dogs, it turns out that spawning a dog (such as a named or stray) through the console does correctly show its penis, but spawning one through hentai creatures doesn't. Other dogs added by mods such as Enhanced Solitude also don't have penises. For horses, neither horses from the game nor hentai creatures work. Edited June 25, 2024 by mastga

I also downloaded hentai creature and all the requirements but i cant get the animations (yes i installed creature animations and the other things). The dog had his penis out but the horse not both of them didnt start an animation after i clicked mate for few times.

I checked the mod in xEdit and it looks like the Horse race itself got somehow messed up in the Update.esm, as it had an error in lstrings or something. I changed the race name back to "Horse" and things are working again. edit: in addition, as I wanted to keep using SC horses and ABC, I found that the patched SC horses included in ABC actually removed the addon.nif for soft horses and replaces it with addon_none.nif, removing soft horse penises entirely. Changing it back to the usual addon.nif returns them, and I'm not sure why they were removed to begin with. Edited June 26, 2024 by mastga

That not mess up, that is Bethesda normal. xEdit is expecting a string that is normally in English like in old Skyrim, but instead there's a reference id. The string replacing those are in the folder data\strings and not hard-coded in the base game masters plugins. Bethesda was not consistent, and not everything is using that localized system. So if you select french the names change to French if the asset is using the localized strings but may be in English if the name is hard-coded in the plugin like in most mods. This is not the localization used by SkyUI, that is in the data\interface folder. I do not read your post describing your issue, but if hard-coding the "horse" display name fix it, then whatever is bugged is using the display name instead of the formid names. If no mod is replacing the localized display name with hard-coded English versions, then it will bug out. I do not know if that is the issue, this is my guess. In my game, nearly every race and item got replaced by hundreds of mods hard-coded versions, but I can see the original base one with the string error in xEdit. The error is xEdit not implementing in the forms window the string system used by Bethesda, and technically is not an issue with the game. my guess why horses has localized strings now. Spoiler Looks like HorseRace, CartHorseRace, ManakinRace, ccBGSSSE035_NixHoundCompanionRace, ccBGSSSE036_BoneWolfCompanionRace are using the localized strings, because Bethesda modify those formid with some new parameters. Horses now has "Mane" in the Biped Object Names, and the others have something extra too. Likely to support AE extra mods and fixing bugs like mannequins walking around sometimes. **by localization, I mean language. Example of the string reference for horse, using xEdit localization editor. Spoiler Example of the display name string for horse being replaced by hard-coded version in plugins from mods.
