the mod will likely have a custom folder for textures, copy paste the tempered skins textures to that folder and overwrite those.

I had thought about that before, but the mod only has scripts and sound files. No textures at all.

Curious if anyone else has encountered this issue. I get that big dll missing bug still, despite having the current skse build aligned with the current SOS version. I haven't seen a solution to this at all, but I decided to just not use it. I uninstalled the mod and now, whenever I start a new game or load into the game, it will, within a few seconds, CTD. Went through a few mods with no effect until finally returning to SOS. I reinstalled it and now the CTD is gone again. This would be perfectly fine if SOS actually worked, but I can't get it to work. So now, I either use an unusable mod or I can't play the game. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Any sort of fix?

Investigate and correct the installation mistakes that you have made.

Yep, he has one and everything. I just can't seem to get him to actually take the underwear off.

target him in console and type "unequipall" see if that works.

Is that possible to separate the "Revealing" armor setting in MCM for female and male? Thank you.

Exactly! Something like this is definitely needed! Alternatively, it could be a good idea to write a patch which prevents SOS from unequipping slot 52 while equipping slot 32 when it is handling a female character. Background: SOS is now also used to equip pubic hair, which does not poke through clothing and should be visible with skimpy female armor replacers. Using the sos_revealing keyword or assigning it in the MCM always affects the non-skimpy male armors. So this is not an option. If you don't assign schlongs to females this small script patch would help a lot with minimal effort (if you can rewrite the relevant script which I cannot). Is anyone out there who can do this?

I tried that and he still has the underwear on, lol.

then that means his naked body mesh had underwear, you're positive he does not have a custom body folder?

Hi- I'm having horrible problems with "something unknown" adding Biped Slot 52 to half of my Slot 32 armors, thereby displacing anything I have in Slot 52. According to several clues gathered online, including this forum topic, it's SoS-Full doing it. According to something else I read somewhere that I can't now Google back up >.< it's being done by a script and not via any of the "normal means," i.e. nifs and plugins. Also, it's apparently only being done to Vanilla armor, which makes even less sense to me in my ignorance of why this would even need to be done.

The forum topic I linked above says that switching to SoS Light solves the problem ("no Slot 52 management") but I can't find that to corroborate it, nor can I find a comparison of what SoS-Full does that SoS-Light doesn't do (meaning, what would I lose if I switched to SoS-Light.) It also says that marking the armor as "skimpy" in the SoS MCM somehow fixes this (I hope they meant "revealing" since there is no such option as "skimpy"). Apparently, SoS uses Slot 52 to "hide the schlong" or something similar, but that makes no sense because back before SKSE64 was released there was only SoS Light and it didn't have any trouble "hiding the schlong." What possible connection can there be between the armor skimpiness and any need to "hide the schlong" only with vanilla armors? :classic_wacko:

Is there not some way to fix this instead of downgrading to SoS-Light? Is Sexlab 1.63 Beta 8 even compatible with SoS Light?

Can someone who actually knows please enlighten me? I have checked ALL of the armor's nifs and plugins involved in this mess and NONE of them specifies Slot 52, yet there it magically is, keeping me from wearing what I want to wear.

Also, apparently I'm not the only voice crying out in the wilderness for some help with this issue:

The mod is not showing up in the MCM, the author gave basically no installation instructions, and I'm lost.

No SOS in MCM, skin textures install correctly, no Schlong textures or model appears on the PC or NPC's, just a gap where you can see through the model to whats behind it. XPMSSE is loading after SOS is. Is theissue that I'm running XPMSSE and not XPMSE? I thought SSE was specifically for skyrim SE. If that's it, I'm going to need a lot more help than just with SOS, the entire SE mod pages feel so much more confusing than LE pages are...

I'm using Vortex, if that helps.

EDIT: Even more issues... Half of the mods I install aren't checked off in the Mods tab of the game. Whenever I enabled SOS mods or whenever I enable XMPSSE, it gives me a SkyUI Error code 5. I'm going to uninstall everything, but I need some serious help - especially if someone could help me with more than just the SOS: almost none of my mods are properly working for me, and generally had no trouble installing mods for LE either.

You'll need to either put the armor yourself on, or target someone else wearing it and go into the SOS MCM and set that armor piece to revealing.  This will remove the slot 52 which SOS adds automatically.

Drawback there will be that it will also apply to the male npc's wearing that armor, so if they're not also wearing something using slot 52 then hey, surprise penis.

To give more information, in Vortex I have FNIS, SkyUI, Racemenu, SOS, and XPMSSE all enabled, but in the in-game Mods tab there is a "Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm", "SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp", "Schlongs of Skyrim.esp", "SOSRaceMenu.esp", and "XPMSE.esp" that are not enabled.

solved this by adjusting the armour requiring slot 52 to something else, they were bikini bottoms and i just changed them to 54 in xedit and also in ouotfit studio

Thanks- I knew about this workaround, but was hoping there was another way since (as you can see from my screenshot) all of the apparel items affected have male counterparts, plus if I set the armor to revealing in SoS, I'm concerned that SL-Aroused might "see" that and accelerate my arousal rate... I may just have to reslot all my garter belts away from Slot 52. *sob*

So, there is still no satisfying solution to the female pubic hair in slot 52 issue. Because, the pubic hair is managed by SOS it should use slot 52. However, it should not be unequipped when armor / clothing is equipped in slot 32. The condition that the character is female should be sufficient to prevent the respective script from unequipping. It would be a minimal effort solution if the author of SOS could provide a simple script patch. Or someone who has the script sources available. Anyone? Pretty, pretty Please?

That isn't SOS's fault, that is a feature of the vanilla game.  Slot 32 inherently covers slot 52 under normal circumstances.  There is an MCM option in SOS to flag the armor as revealing, thus allowing you to equip slot 32 and 52 items simultaneously.  Conversely, you can create a patch using xEdit to add the SOS_Revealing keyword to all the slot 32 ARMOR records as appropriate.

Are you sure? You mean the slots of vanilla armor / clothing consume always also slot 52? That would be totally different from what I remember. However, I will check by looking into the nifs and the armor definitions in the CK. Also, from what I remember it would be impossible to equip something into slot 52 if it is already occupied by something else. SOS could not equip the schlongs. The game engine would not allow it. However, let me check...

...checked it already. From what I can see your statement is false. I checked several armors, armor addons and nifs. Some calves and forearms here and there besides slot 32 but never slot 52.

I conclude it must be an SOS script which handles this.

Not quite correct.  SoS automatically add slot 52 to all armor that isn't tagged with they keyword sos_revealing (or set in the MCM as revealing).  Nothing to do with  vanilla game behaviour.

Ah, then it is not possible to fix it because there is no differentiation between female and male slot usage. What a mess! Maybe one should abandon the misuse of SOS for female pubic hair and implement a different system using a different slot.

This hasn't been my experience, which is why I attributed it to the vanilla game.  I just fired up Skyrim without SOS as part of my load order to test. Equipping a slot 32 vanilla robe and slot 52 panties from TAWoBA results in a conflict and one or the other being removed in the process.

OK.  Just dug a bit deeper with a new game and I guess this stuff is baked into the save data.  Slot 52/32 doesn't conflict with a new game. Previous test was just removing SOS from an existing save.

Not as automatic or graceful as an SOS-controlled option, but you can go with a Racemenu/Slavetats overlay for pubes instead of equipping meshes.

Combined with this:

Hadn't seen that one before, but I don't think Racemenu handles NPCs.  STMM looks like it will do both.  You can certainly take the overlays from Pubes Forever and turn it into a tat pack for Slavetats.

Ah, sorry. Yes only for RaceMenu and only for the player.
