No matter what I try, my characters are still wearing default loincloths :c I installed SOS via Mod Organizer, I chose the bodybuilder option then switched to average. I installed tempered males full SOS and the Xp32 mod but I still get the same result!! Help!? It sounds like the load order is out. It should be Tempered Skins overwriting SoS and XPMSSE Skeleton overwriting everything

It's part of XPMSSE and is explicitly there to stop SOS from applying its adjustments, forcing you do that stuff in Racemenu instead. As @Daikomyo has indicated, just don't activate it in your load order if you want that other stuff to work.

AlexSenpai Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 So, this is a weird one. I'm using SoS along with a mod called Masculine Textures for Argonians/Khajiit, and it's working great for the most part. I went out to check on Scouts-Many-Marshes, whom I want to marry. I noticed his body's color is a nice blue (can't remember if it was that obviously blue in vanilla, but he looks great) Yet the cock was green. It's not exactly green, it looks like it's green-blue but obviously mismatched from the rest of the body which is a way softer blue color. I was wondering what to do to fox that? I thought body colors will just be the same based on what they're set to. Is there a way to edit an NPC using the RaceMenu mod? That would make sense if there was, since you also get the way better control over the SoS size/shape there, and I thought maybe changing his skin color and then back would make it reset and look the way it should (it's how I've had color problems solved on my character before, I believe. By simply opening the racemenu and re-saving, I assume it just refreshed everything.) Restarting SoS doesn't do anything, it just takes off his penis and I have to re-apply it again from the McM, still green. P.S. Regarding my previous questions and problem - I managed to fix it but didn't explain it well because I was falling asleep. The problem was that the SoS skeleton was overwriting the XPMSSE skeleton, so the RaceMenu SoS functionality wouldn't work at all. When I simply re-installed SoS without its own skeleton everything worked correctly. I realized that dragon potions are unnecessary, since you get to control your cock size exclusively though the racemenu, except for npc - but you can change it with the MCM for them.

NOTHING should ever overwrite the XPMSSE skeleton.
AlexSenpai Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 skin/SoS color mismatch on argonian npc, any way to fix? Doesn't seem to happen for any other race. Perhaps it's because of his blue, more unnatural color? (didn't even know he was blue)

Perhaps it's because of his blue, more unnatural color? (didn't even know he was blue) I had this problem as well. It looks like you have Masculine Argonian Textures installed. The issue is that you're using a texture pack that doesn't contain the proper textures for the Schlong you have. Masculine Argonian Textures only contains a texture for the Smurf Average schlong. Have a look at the Schlongs of Skyrim MCM to see what schlong your character is using and change it it Smurf Average. The problem is that any Argonian NPCs can potentially have the same problem, so you might have to change it for any Argonian NPC you see naked. You can disable the plugins for VectorPlexus Regular and VectorPlexus Muscular to ensure that every character uses Smurf Average. However, if you have other textures (say for Khajiit) that only have VectorPlexus textures, you'll be in trouble there instead. Another option is to go to the Masculine Argonian Textures mod folder. Go to textures/actors/character/SOS then create two folders, one named 'VectorPlexus Regular' and the other 'VectorPlexus Muscular'. Then go into the 'Smurf Average' folder and copy the textures from there into both of the folders you just created. This will allow the VectorPlexus schlongs to use those textures. You'll want to check the schlongs in-game to see if they look good because those textures weren't designed for VectorPlexus. Use the MCM to change your characters schlong and see all types.

Argonian_Lover Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Actually, I think I need a step by step guide. First Install SOS. Then Tempered Males. Then XPMSSE right? But are there any specifics I should install or not include in said install?

You may have to use the separate LOOT program to auto-sort your mods. I would assume that MO2 has a load order listing where it will tell you by number which is loading before another? In Vortex, it gave me mod conflicts when installing SoS and tempered skins. However, Vortex suggests a "before and after" choice so it's easy to just follow that. Not sure what MO2 will do when you install the mods.
Argonian_Lover Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 OKay I think I might just try that. time to delete my mods and MO2 and try it with vortex!

I know that I tried MO2 once and while I'm sure it's a good mod manager, I just couldn't grasp it for some reason. When you're using Vortex, you will get a red bar indicating a mod conflict. Don't panic, just look at what Vortex suggests. If it doesn't suggest a 'before and after' setting, then just remember, you want tempered skins to overwrite SoS and make sure XPMSSE loads after both those mods.
BunkerBurger Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Hey hey, I'm new to modding, thought I'd get SOS going, but well...I've got a problem and I'd like to know if anyone knows a fix: The game doesn't launch AT ALL (starting to run it shows a loading animation on my cursor for a bit but nothing happens and Task Manager doesn't show the game as running) if I have "Schlongs of Skyrim.esp" enabled, but if I disable it, it runs fine. Well, except that wherever the mod is running, there's an empty crotch with no textures... Does anyone know what the problem could be, what I could do to fix it? If you need any info on my setup, lemme know please. I'm running on patch 1.5.97.0 of Skyrim SE with Mod Organizer 2.
Argonian_Lover Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Okay so I got it working but I can';t seem to get them naked, they still wear the loin cloths.. what do?
Argonian_Lover Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 also, is there a way to just get the SoS bodybuilder version going? I can get it running when I'm wearing clothes but when it's off it's just regular SoS
Seanmaster200@yahoo.com Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 i keep getting error code 1114 why? what am i doing wrong?

Hey, thanks a bunch for the great reply. I had assumed it might be just that, but I was too sleepy and figuring some other problems out, so I decided to wait on this one. Seems like this is it, and I will attempt copying the smurf textures over to vectorPlexus folders and see if it works. Here's to hoping it does, I really really like both the vectorPlexus cocks but dislike the smurf one - I don't even have it installed. P.S. I moved the textures in the smurf folder to a new vectorPlexus folder for both muscular and average, and it's working flawlessly! You can't even tell the texture is for another model, it fits perfectly. Thanks a lot!
Illana Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 any have this issue when sometimes schlongs just refuse to be affected by the hotkeys? Only fixed after restarting the game

leeux Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Still no news about fixing the CTD on save load issue? Is getting annoying having to Unschlongify (word?) all armors when you need to change you load order else you get your save bricked I volunteer to debug the issue and provide a fix if I could get access to the sources to compile the DLL. It's very easy to reproduce, use an armor for any mod whose ESP is flagged as ESL, then mark that armor as revealing... make sure the effect took place (better to do this on any really revealing armor) and save your game... then, go to mod manager and alter your load order in a way that changes the load order index of the mod. Then, when you try to load your save, you'll CTD on load and if you have installed NetScriptFramework you can clearly see that the CTD comes from the DLL from this mod. Sorry to be insistent, but it's something that's really annoying to deal with
Not a prisoner Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Isn't altering your load order a sure way to screw up a saved game anyway?
leeux Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 2 hours ago, Not a prisoner said: Isn't altering your load order a sure way to screw up a saved game anyway? I mean, simply changing the relative order of mods causes it, not removing them... yeah removing mods from a save game is a big no-no in all capitals... on that you're right, but that's not this. In other words, if you run LOOT after installing a new mod, and for some reason it decides that some of the mods you already had from before now need to be sorted different, then you'll probably run in into the issue I describe... the only way to not have this issue is, either not using armor mods that are ESL, never using the SOS keywords on ESL mods, or never changing load order ever, and that bars ever installing new mods too.
