Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear there will be an indoor theme coming too someday.

I said I can hardly wait but of course I am happy to wait for quality. I have no choice anyway, right :P?
I should have known it's not that easy with the chains, it never is, especially when HDT is involved.
About the horses/ponys... What Elenve said..... I like the idea of devices used by more than one person at the same time.

quad-armbinder-restraint-crosspole:

-the armbinder is connected with a long chain to the ceiling8here the quad-cross-carussel (a marker will come also-don´t worry!), quite a crazy and kinky way, to host 4 slaves or onto this crosspole-quad-carussel....i guess this will be another eye-catcher for some slavery-markets...enjoy the pics:-))

Could you reduce the height of the central post a bit? ?

It seems to be too high to fit into closed room, except if they are a huge hall like Dragonsreach. Even outside it looks a bit "impractical" ? ... speaking from the owner perspectuive of course :classic_tongue: I would need a ladder.

 

As a measure, maybe half the height? It should be enough to have it close above the heads up upright standing people?

 

But again: a veeeeery useful addition for any civilized household :classic_smile:

I´m glad that this complicated stuff is working how it is trimmed now. The height is one beam higher than the third torture-poe, which can be placedinto the standard height of normal low cells-I guess that this furniture is well suiting to the whiterun interieur of the jail for example-I´ll check that out.

Furthermore can a cell be created specially or you can use beams in higher rooms...and of course can you use the existing new marker or the furniture...this should be ideal for most of locations. This furniture is of course (like all other new stuff not anymore centered-so if you use a positioner, you will have to fiddle around-that´s the only deal for a 100% suiting animation and a free camera (which is specially on this sort of furniture VERY important, so that the chains won´t hang in the air somewhere) . As this has been so much discussed is this the only way to work with furnitures, who are based on FNIS - idles. On my system and if people are working with Creation-Kit, you will get a perfect animation-allignment and a 100% - working gameplay.

 

p.s. I told it before, that I will also change the length of the chain in future and then this stuff gets it´s different heights. (the height is depending of the chain-length, changing this is lot of new work, because I edit the Havok-xml-pathes manually!!!)

Managed to find time to test this

 

Near game start, Helgen Cave, with Follower Chloe from DCL 7.1

Using Restraints on player character only. 

Not checked yet with restraints worn by follower

Not checked with every single type of restraint ?

 

1 - Cuffs (Hands only, hands + chains), Yokes (wooden and metal), Fiddles, (wooden and metal), all seem fine in that, when 'worn' by the player

 

they lock on the player - ie locked up

they cannot be removed by the player if they do not have a key - ie player needs key to unlock

they cannot be removed by the follower if the player does not have a key - ie NPC can't unlock if player has no key

 

they can be removed by the player if the player has a key - ie player can unlock self if has key

they can be removed by the follower if the player has a key - ie NPC can unlock for player if player has key

they can be removed by the follower if the follower has a key, even if the player does not have a key - ie NPC can unlock even if only NPC has key

 

2 - Ropes that bind, Roped devices that bind (eg vertical and horizontal poles), armbinders, most leather cuffs that bind (pairs OK but hands only not so sure?) seem fine in that, when 'worn' by the player

 

they lock on the player - ie tied tight

they cannot be removed by the player - ie can't untie

they cannot be removed by the player even if the player has a key - ie can't untie merely because player has key

 

they can be removed by the follower if the follower asks, whether or not the follower has a key - ie an NPC untying ropes needs no key

 

3 - Straitjacket, after worn by player (I know you said that the test mod doesn't cover evey device ? )

 

is neither tied or locked on the player - ie player can add and remove at will

 

4 - NPC narratives all seemed appropriate to each combination of circumstances

 

So

 

a - first thoughts are that this will make for a very impressive upgrade!

 

b - if you do eventually add other devices it will be even better! - eg if, say, Straitjacket 'locks' as ropes/armbinders/leather items and is able to be untied by NPC without key

 

Only thing that I did find strange was that when the player 'dropped' the restraints key to test without it being in inventory, it had a habit of disappearing into the ground and vanishing.  Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things :P

thank you for the testing and time for explanations, donkey!

 

In between I tried to see how the last furniture is behaving with EFF and I feel, that the mixing, to force a follower to use the furniture has mostly its end with 3 seats....I could get the 4th seat to be used one few time randomly. EFF has sadly bugs, when it comes to be played with more than one NPC  (that´s how I felt it so far...) - otherwise did I let the followers find themselves their way into this item....spawning 4 assets with long HAVOK-CHAIN is far a "weight" for skyrim if it comes all together with 64K skin...anyway is THIS, what is possible ingame and I think it´s fairly alright and a fine gaming and so those pics are really impressive to me:

Whipping Marker / additional quest-part(s) for zap to get npc into furnitures

 

If MUSJE finds another time, I´d make the whipping markers come alive with some functions, depending on script-possibilities.

I need sound (which I will again try to implement into animation) and we need the decal-skin-signing if whips/canes are used as attack-weapon.

If both is working, the whipping can be used as furniture in different ways. I also can create IDLE-markers for npcs and connected with a NPC with a suiting AI pack would maybe have a control over the dedicated furniture...if a "whipping-pole" is used the near NPC with the suiting AI pack could maybe become the attacker in that case...I try to find out a simple solution. Normally it is the best, if the furniture use would start such a script, which is initializing such an AI pack or the use of a whipping marker itself. This would again spare big scripting and scanning always everything around a cell...no use of the furniture->no extra papyrus use...(this is, what I think about it so far). I want a furniture-dedicated CAUSE/HAPPENING->EFFECT-principle.

 

I hope to get serious ideas and a suiting way to solve this wanted whipping/caressing (between gamer&npc) feature !

On the other hand I could imagine that zap is offering a spell (like a collar), which can be put onto an npc, so that this npc gets some more dialogue function: if a gag is weared, the npc has more new dialogue options already!, so if we set this a level higher, we can command the npc to use a furniture and let them become our toy-as i mentioned has zap the internal existing quest which could be filled again with some more conversation and new functions...for a gamer as master. And if those items are not used, those functions don´t start.

All the trees are now animated and also static available-you can always choose what you like to have..This job is done!

The island is fully navmeshed and the "tropical-house" has it´s first contence (the bamboo-bed mesh has been corrected (after I have seen that pic!))

the "box" in the middle of the picture has a suiting DOOR -look in the folder DOORS-zap-more than 80 doors for different cages and items can be found there..that furniture is a furniture AND a cage same time.

the "box" has something like: "EEP" inside of it´s name...it was my first try of an iron maiden (without spikes).

The more professional new box is looking like it´s original...

Would there be any chance you can visit the spitroast furniture?

 

Really keen on seeing the pole that runs through the body being one solid spit, basically the two round circles at the top of spit taken away so its not like two large sections being shoved through someone.

Updated the mod and now whenever i open a chest from this mod, like the ones in zbftestzone or using additemmenu, my game freezes and eventually crashes. Anyone else experienced this?

New version of the locked devices test mod: ZazLockedDevices.7z

Run FNIS after installing

 

This version adds:

- Blacksmiths will be able to help you out of locked devices (which are binding your hands) even without the keys.

- Bound swimming!

 

If you get into the water while bound, you can still swim by kicking your legs, but you will swim slower and your stamina will drain. When stamina hits 0 you will sink and drown.

Also be careful leading followers or slaves into the water when bound, because the same will happen to them.

...this is a "real" sensation!....♥️ - WOW !!! - what a perfect surprise.

and it´s really very much immersive because you deal with a small degree of survival-quite realistic....

p.s. i´m very much astonished how quick you made this happen (inluding those animations !!!!!)

hi,

maybe you have artefacts of past installations now mixed with new ones-depends on the old version perhaps. when i installed zap (9) again manually (after my crash with NMM), zap was running quite well like always. if something of an item is called and not there or can´t somehow be loaded, it may be a reason for a crash. if the newer version is offering new more items and if the stuff is not available somehow, this error may be appearing....maybe this gives you a hint, where/how to solve this error.

ABOUT USING ExtensiveFollowerMod EFF and add item-menu: I guess that the latest version(s) of add item menu (LE) doesn´t SUIT to EFF anymore and this may the reason for some male-functions I do have NOW for EFF.

I will check this statemant out and so I go back to an older addItem version to check this.

Hm, Are there any mod incompatibilities? Besides ZazExtensionPack (im not using it). My installs are through Mod Organizer so there shouldnt be any left over files. I went from This pack to a newer version of this pack: 0b6b1691bc.png , so I'm thinking I must have some very old files or mod conflict? (I'm not using TaraUltimateFurniture Pack or Zaz7 either). Bit strange, as my install is very clean. I will try redownloading the mod, corrupted files maybe.

that new download you can exactly spare/spare your time therefore....if it has done it´s extraction and all files are inside-it´s fine...but what means: V.8 + upd ???

the latest version is V.8-plus - there´s no other update (yet)....if you had 8 before, you maybe delete all files after MO did that - manually: check from the original pack all the paths and check for artefacts....some items are not deleted by mod organizers...TUFP + zap 8 is a showdown...if it even would work it is absolutely not needed to have both. I´d also delete the scripts of the older pack(s).

next step then is the influence of other mods...I can´t spend any info of latest DD mods-I really havve no shimmer if that´s working together. I don´´t know if there´s something inside of other mods, which can cause zap to get damaged, sorry therefore. I have here only sexLab and zap. But if those both are installed, the stuff is of course working how it´s meant to be. we have some few "bugs" inside of zap-but that not beeing coming from my versions. And I will spend some time to quit them;-))

 

I´m sure that you will be successful after a manual check!

 

p.s. I know you made animations and if you like to create some others, let me know...I´d like to have some "pose-animations", like models do, simply what you have in mind, coming as looped animations, fired on IDLE-markers - you can also create animated objects for this (if wanted....!!)-

 

I also would like to have an animation: victim in long - chain walking and struggling around a chain-pole: you only need to create such an animation in a homogen radius around a virtual pole, maybe with bound hands or free hands, kneeling-standing up...falling down-standing up again-something, what you´d like to create...(loooooooong loop)
