Mr.Friendly Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I know this is an old mod, but it's the best female costume vampire I have ever found. And was wondering if anyone could merge this wings to this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53271/? Would make flying alot cooler. Was thinking the same exact thing myself today. hehe yea it just fit so well. and here is some file that should make it easier http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54097/?
Silvist Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 I'm glad you guys are all enjoying it. Especially since this project is 2 years old lol. Sadly the only way to make it work perfectly is by modifying the vampire animations to the regular pc skeleton. Which I have no experience with. Though somewhere on this thread people have swapped the vampire lord animations with custom ones that were made for the regular player character. That seemed to fix some of the deforming issues. This entire project was just made as a basis for everyone to use however they want aka resource. of course people like this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25321/? Took it as they can steal my work, take full credit, and upload it to the nexus lol. This is kind of why I didn't bother doing more with it.

I don't know if that guy copied it or not, but one thing is sure: your mod works for me without doing anything, while the mod of that guy is highly problematic (summary: bodyslide skeleton CTD + esp with problems CTD + invisible foot and hands when two previous problems fixed after research)
Silvist Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 @Vagonumero13 - That person did copy. Just check the date that this topic was started, and look at the date he uploaded on the nexus. Its several months after I started this thread, and this project had been in the works before that. To top it off even if it wasn't a copy, the issues his mod would be experiencing would be different than mine. When in fact the issues are exactly 100% the same; aka deforming of the body (arms and neck stretching). Of course the guy's mod has issues to top that because he doesn't know how to fix them, because he didn't even make the mod. That's the entire point lol. I'm not sure what you exactly know regarding how this all works, but the way it was done is entirely the same. He didn't bother to adjust the animations of the skeleton used for the pc to mirror that of the vampire animations. This would require him to import each vampire animation, and tweak every single frame (very time consuming). I would have had no problem allowing people to use my work as a resource, as long as due credit was given. People reported this to me around the time the mod went up on the nexus. That's also around the time I stopped trying to make progress on this project, because of assholes like that. I'd be damned if I'd spend any more hours on a project; only have some asshole take credit for it.
Contessa Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I'm sorry your work was blatantly stolen like that but I do hope it doesn't discourage you from continuing because this looks pretty amazing to me.

Only real issue is that all the beauty of the armor gets away in that horrible pose of vampire lord. I was wondering though if a very different aproach could be used to achieve the same purpose of your mod. A scripted aproach that would modify the spells that turn you into Vampire Lord, and instead keep you as human and equip you with the succubus armor and VL spells, apply any necesary stats change and prevent you from using inventory. Although the tricky part would be that evereything else still recognizes you as being from Vampire Lord Race, which would probably require to edit even more vanilla forms. Now even bigger problem with this aproach is that the player wouldn't hover, but just walk/run like normal, unless those animations were replaced too and a workaround was found to use them only when in this pseudo vampire lord form. Anyways, easier said than done, not sure if it is between the limits of what can be done with papyrus and creation kit.
Silvist Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 @Vagonumero13 - First off, that's a really good idea actually lol. It could be done if you use a script to call an npc object. It was done with some midas spells, and arcane archer. You basically have all the options for it listed in the race tabs at your disposal. So you could assign factions, and etc. I used this when I made my own variation of element bound weapons; aka added fire, ice, poison, and darkness. I had to use it when summoning the physical weapons, and so the weapons would disappear after the time of the enchantment expired. So the pc would retain all of the animation set of the regular human form. The biggest trick would be if you wanted to animate any of the moves in some special manner. The easiest way to learn papyrus is just to look at other modders code, and figure it out from there. Long before the vampire lord, I actually did the same thing with the werewolves. Where you would retain your face upon transforming. Then I made some what of a hybrid wolf like body (glabros form to you white wolfish people) to go along with it.
damerc21 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Hey thanks for this mod, it is excellent! But it's also giving me a problem because for whatever reason it's still loading the default vampire lord armor and wings along with the adec stuff. The only vampire mods I have installed are vampire skin color fix, faster transform, vampire lords can loot and activate, predator vision, and better vampires. Mod Organizer says there is a conflict with USKP but I can't imagine that's really an issue. Hi failbot. I'm having the same issue. How did you fix it?
assassin394 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Can anyone reupload release version to other host(ie: mega, mediafire,putlocker...). cause gamefront ban my country ip and other link is dead (
Silvist Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 @Assassi394 - Yeah, I haven't updated this thread in a couple years lol. So, I finally decided to directly upload it to LL. So hopefully you shouldn't have anymore issues with downloading it. Let me know if there's any issues.
GreyhFox Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 First of all, love this mod. thanks Silvist! I'm trying to figure out how to change the ADEC body to, well, anything else. and In turn then change the armor. I'm new to a lot of modding so step-by-step stuff I can figure out. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Any help would be great. Thanks! Make sure you have whatever armor you want to use installed and know where the meshes are located at. Open the mod in the CK and find the Armor Addon parts for the Vampire Lord Armor and replace each of either the female or male meshes (whichever sex you want to change) and replace them with the meshes from the other armor. As you replace them you should see them in the render window once you select them. Once you are done just save it and you should have the new armor in game.

Thank you for a response, however, you may have to dumb this down even further for me. Like what is the CK? Is it a separate program? I'm sorry, I just have little idea of what I'm doing but I am willing to learn...
HeleyaCheeza Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Hi ! I wanted to use this mod but I really don't like the animations.. Maybe This has been already asked but is there a way to change them ? Thank you ;3
Nana-Beats Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I have been trying and giving my own shot at making a custom vampire lord. Got inspired by the vampires from the movie Van Helsing & 30 Days Of Night. I wanted to keep the 'monstery' feel to it and I think I kinda nailed it? The wings even function and animates. Whatcha guys think on this?

I was trying my own hand at the custom vampire lord, but for some reason the "body" mesh i want to use has a texture problem, it's extremy over-lighted.

The Matrix Prime Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I was playing as a vampire again and I thought I'd give this mod a try, One thing bugs me though, my avatar loses her cool glowing eyes when she transforms into a Vampire Lord. It would be really nice if she kept them as they complement her sexy Vampire Lord look. I opened up the mod in the Creation Kit, but I can't seem to anything that governs the eyes for Vampire Lords. Before and After transformation pics so you can better see what I'm talking about.
ntblood Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 How did you get to keep your bone hand armor when you were in vamp lord form in the second screenshot? cool armor One strange thing with the custom vamp lord is my head seems to be looking downward in 3rd person view that it looks somewhat strange, she dropped her contacts. I tried using racemenu to change her head position but the two sliders that didn't change head size didn't do anything in adjusting head position. I wonder how the mod author got the custom vamp lord to crouch in the screenshot of the description download page and I attached here. I can't crouch in vamp lord form, I go into magic hover mode. I really like this mod! Thank you for any help--------------Silvist "Not sure if I put it in the description, but the neck and arms do (sic) the deformation due to the vampire lord skeleton. So it would require either someone to manually adjust for all vamp lord animations, or convert all vampire lord animations to female/male skeleton. The crouching was from when I was testing it back at the release of dawnguard. You can gain pc animation by replacing the vampire lord skeleton with the female/male skeleton in the vampire lord folder. Other people in the past have also used custom animations as well that way.The only issue I had when doing that was it broke the vampire lord stances. Like you couldn't hover."---I do have vampirelord_sk.dds inMod Organizer\mods\Creature Features 1 0 4\textures\creature_features\vampirelord is that a skeleton file for the VLord? That might need to be overwritten if I wanted to do what he's talking about which I do. Alternatively I could just not use VLord form much at all like you, and forget about the custom animated VLord wings. It would be fun to have animated wings, add the flying mod, and change the skeleton so I can crouch. I can live with the crooked neck.
handofkane Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 it dosen't work..... just normal body and armor
