thatTESguy Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 @jimhsu - That's incredible work! I'll make sure to redo this mod so it incorporates the wings. Honestly I couldn't even come close to the smooth animation in the 2nd video. Thanks once again for all your hard work ^^ Â @jancicc - When you say skin it manually' date=' you mean add the bones, and weight paint it? If that's the case, lol tried but it came out terrible. I need alot more improvement on the area of doing things manually. If it wasn't for 3ds max, skin wrap..I'd be spending alot more time doing mods lol. Â @xiondes - Interesting idea, I'll check around for them. [/quote'] Â Thanks. Â Yea. Skinning is hard. I actually just learned how to select vertices by bone yesterday (hidden command in the toolbar menus), so I pick up new things all the time. Â Now off to actually play the game. I swear I spend much more time in 3ds max, Creation Kit, and notepad++ (coding) than actually playing the thing. The same applies for most "good" games I play (just recently picked up Sims 3 C# framework modding), so my definition of "good" is strange to most people.
xiondes Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I found the .iso for tekken which might contain the two models I was talking about, do you know how to rip meshes from .isos? Btw the game where you can find those is tekken hybrid

cold steel Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Guys, I tried to change the form of the vampire lord's armor and armor changed fine, but the texture of the skin it began to look like the skin shriveled corpse. Please tell me how can I restore the normal appearance of the skin without affecting the armor? P.S. sorry for my bad english.
LaEspada Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Great mod! I'm actually playing as a vampire lord more often now . Â I just had a few quick questions to deal with just the whole aesthetic aspect of vampires. Which mods should I get for custom body mods so I can deal with the ugly vampire textures and changes that I char gets when I become a vampire? Like less sunken cheeks and so forth.
Guest Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I'll post my aestethic mod compilation-they correct anything from cheeks to fangs, eye textures, skin textures and marks for you espada

It should go on the front page anyways so people can get the most out of their vampire lords anyways!
Guest Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 vampire less sunken face (female, seems the male version was removed but I have a copy of the mod just in case)http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16506  male vamp retex http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21772 and for female http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17704  underworld glowing eyes http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22619 also fixes dawnguard eye problems, also check http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11146 for feral green and slight glow and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5878 for a more subtle vampire..if you are for the classic blood red just search the nexus, there's a shitload of them  female fangs http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22522 (for some reason vanilla fems don't have pointy fangs)  to avoid the burned face, try any of these links and decide which one you prefer http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21921 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21656 (I use this one) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21655  if you're interestead in body textures, try either http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24371/ for undead vampires or search for ashen vampires on the nexus  Hope I covered everything!
cold steel Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Guys, anyone can add to fashion a replacement head for the conversion? If I use СBBE, the color of the head after transformation is not the same color as the body, because they use different textures. I do not know how to fix it other than adding a new head for the transformation. P.S. sorry for my post. I already fix it.

Go to your Skyrim folder then Data > textures > actors > character > female 2. locate the files femalehead.dds and femalehead_msn.dds and copy and paste to make a copy 3. Good now rename femalehead.dds to "femaleheadvampire.dds" 4. Next up yep you got it rename femalehead_msn.dds to "femaleheadvampire_msn.dds" 5. all set  That's if you have a custom body mod.
xiondes Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Regarding the two devil models that i suggested, they should be in the .bin files that's provided here http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=9175 I am currently trying to extract the thing but to no avail. I also have no idea what I'm doing but I'm trying. Hope this can be of use to you. Or at least try to extract the 2 game models.
Silvist Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 @Xiondes - I'll take a look at it. Though I can't promise you much, considering I've never fully rigged a mesh outside of Skyrim. Â If I can get the model, which shouldn't be that hard. I've used xentax tools before, and they've worked great. Â Maybe someone like Diegoforfun or Rorono could pull it off lol. May try asking them to port it to skyrim. Â Just so you know, manipulating a 3d object already in the elder scrolls series is relatively easy. Its when you have to take something completely foreign and make it work...that it becomes professional level of modding lol. Â Honestly; I give praise to modders like: Diegoforfun,Rorono, Endiness, Megalov, 123check and any other modeler who has successfully ported an outside object into Skyrim. I cannot even begin to describe how hard it is. Â (with the exception of weapons, which are static objects ;p) Â Doesn't mean we should give up on it. Â Btw I noticed Rorono did this one: Â Â Â Â Its not exactly like the one you linked, but it is within the same realm of demonish ;p
xiondes Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 thanks a lot for the feedback silvist. Since you got so many projects going on, the fact that you're willing to try is already enough for me. As a regular player, its really moving to see players like you trying to mod a game for the whole community. Â anyways, I'm trying to extract the models and see if it works. i have no idea what i'm doing. but i'll see what can mash up.

Making it not look like **** is hard, and takes artistic work, experience, and a metric ton of patience.  Still beyond that are the people that can take a 2D sketch and make a professional quality model from it. For one, they would be out doing jobs and not modding for forums like these. But occassionally there are.
Silvist Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 @jimhsu - I don't disagree with what you said at all. Though personally, I lack the artistic work, experience to get stuff into the game. I find rigging incredibly hard, and weight painting isn't the easiest in the world either. Â Though its not like I took a class on this, or have done this as a job. I typically learn by trial and error lol. Â Speaking of which, it seems the CK doesn't like to preview your wings on the male side lol. I was trying to take a look at some other things I could do, and lol it crashed every time (yes took out my enb dlls ;p). Â I'm guessing its because this is only made for female skeletons? Â Its no big deal. I noticed though, when I opened up the skeleton file in the pack you posted. That it looks like the beast skeleton, with wings? Or is it just the basic skeleton with wings/tail added? Â Reason I ask this, is just for learning ;p
myuhinny Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 The moving wings look pretty good I just recently came across this one on the nexus http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24950 moving wings by badgremlin it has many wings from demon to angel to butterfly to raven. Time to go search for the item id for ale so that I can test them all out I'm not going to run all over skyrim just to find ale to craft these things.
thatTESguy Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Yes, rigged it onto the female skeleton. To use other skeletons, just directly copy the bone in Nifskope and paste it onto your skeleton (that actually works). Make sure you respect the hierarchy. The tail was added in a similar way (for armors that have tails, e.g. the diablo mod). Â We don't have a "max compatibility skeleton" for skyrim yet, and we might want one. Â The CK crashes due to the appropriate bone (i.e RightWing01) not being in the right place. Again, the fix above will fix that. Â PS and no class here also. The work I do in real life has absolutely nothing to do with 3d modeling, or video game design, or anything. Though I've been modding since Morrowind and NWN (the 1st one), starting from some pretty horrible texture mods, and going up from there
xiondes Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 hey silvist, http://www.mediafire.com/?xmzg3srurqm6d0d i think would make good male vampire lords especially the red one. what do you think?
Angry Ghost Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Loving this mod, Just keeping my fingers crossed for a fix for the head/ shoulder stoop.
adesa Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I can't believe someone actually made this! Thank you very much for this! Â I'm having a proportional problem with this though. I'm using the loli race from website, so it uses a different skeleton from the usual females. Â So when I transformed, my head is very small compared to the body. Is there anyway to fix that?
Angry Ghost Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 well right now I dont know about that because the skeleton used for the wing animations causes a hunched neck effect with the regular race.... so does it cause the same thing with the kid races to?
Guest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 @Silvist did you by chance make the elven version?
