Made just for fun.
Inspired the Captured Dreams mod and book about the terrible Dwarven devices.

This is standalone mod and is not true Devious Devices. Only visual style.
I decided not to clutter the Skyrim world with another armor chest, so you can get armor through AddItem Menu or console:
xx - load order number
additem xx000D63 - Dwarven Devious Cuirass
additem xx000D69 - Dwarven Devious Helm (open)
additem xx000D6A - Dwarven Devious Helm (close)
additem xx000D6B - Dwarven Devious Mask1
additem xx000D6C - Dwarven Devious Mask2

 

Craft:
Conditions similarly Dwemer Armour

 

Cuirass:
1 Dwemer Centurion Dynamo Core
5 Steel Ingot
10 Dwemer Metal Ingot
4 Flawless Ruby

 

Helmet and mask:
1 Steel Ingot
2 Dwemer Metal Ingot
4 Flawless Ruby

 

I used CBBE HDT body as base and I have no desire to do on other types of body replacers. Nope. UUNP added. The mod includes all the necessary files with bodymorphs and there is no need to generate something in the Bodyslide. HDT? Only for ass. The breast is covered with a metal breastplate, it cannot jiggle Pregnancy support? No. This device is definitely not for this.

 

Bodyslide project is also included. You can do with it whatever you want.
Both archives contain the full version, because they have the same only esp-file and helmets models, it makes no sense to combine it into one fomod installer.
Some notes. Since the models of the arms and legs are not in the default position (T-pose), standard normal maps from Skyrim are not suitable for correct illumination, all because the skin is used object space normal maps. Therefore, texture sets are used new normal maps for the body when the armor is dressed. This must be consider if you suddenly decide to do replacer for anover body type.

Could you imagine a horror dungeon with those as the mobs coming at you in the dark.... Nearby town says all their women are missing send you to find out what happened and bam you get locked in an old dwemer ruins with those things.... guess we know what happened to all the towns women QQ.

Unfortunately for me, I'm getting a CTD when equipping the body, everything else works fine. I use UUNP though, but I've never had a crash loading a CBBEHDT outfit, the body texture just doesn't match. I rebuilt the meshes in bodyslide just to be sure, but if no one else is having any issues, just ignore me and I'll figure something out.

 

EDIT: thought it might have something to do with the effects your video shows when the armor is equipped. But I still get a CTD even when using it as a replacer for the vanilla "Dwarven Armor."

On the basis of any lore, since I haven't seen any, it might be a way to draw the Magicka from whoever is trapped inside to fuel the machine. That way you don't have to change a soul gem or anything and only have to feed the captive. I'm guessing the person in the suit has no control over it since they're stuck, so perhaps that would be an idea for a quest.

 

As to not wanting to clutter a new chest, perhaps you could make the outfit craftable? It's not that difficult to do that. If you'd want, I could have a look at it. PM me if you want to look a bit more into anything related to lore or mod mechanics together, been hoping to hop a toe into Skyrim

That one is going on my list of things to download one day. God damn this looks amazing. This also help solving my love/hate relationship with devious devices: you got the look, but you you can still actually play the game. This is also incredible ideas for fallout. Player inside an assaultron.

I hade one CTD when equipping in the beginning of work, but after never. I used standart shaders from dwarvenspherecenturion, dwarvenspider and dwarvensteamcenturion. I'll check it again, but have no idea why.

Please check this esp without dark aura enchant. If it does not help, then may be there is some mistake in the model.

Still the same crash, the masks work but trying to equip the cuirass results in an immediate ctd.

Amazing work! Functions for me as-is for (UUNP). Hopefully this gets integrated into SexLab Parasites or DCL soon! A harsh lesson for careless dwemer dungeon explorers!

Still ctd with the non enchant esp, using cbbe curvy hdt body.

I can not catch the error. So you should check it for me.    I add zap slider to hide each of the parts. Hide one from and try to equip. So we can understand what is causing CTD.

 

My single CTD was associated with the first part "01 heart body hide". Maybe it's in it.

Works for me. Armor looks insanely good and even better combined with the effects.

 

EDIT: Don't know if it's one or the other, but at the least NOT zaping the Vaginal Heart still leads to CTDs.
