Currently, I'm only focused on completing my female body mesh at the moment, so I may as well give an update.

 

 

UPDATE

 

I just re-did the hands/arms ("again!?" yeah I know) and managed to make it lower poly, cleaner, and more anatomically correct (especially the hands). Just trying to figure how to tweak the biceps, and need to re-work the shoulders. After that, the rest is easy, except for the rib and side muscle area and other exceptions.

No, because all my future meshes will be based on that body topology. Meaning all verts match at the seam and polygon spacing are evenly spread compared to the rest of the body. If I make a mesh now, I will just end up having to redo it again. I'm not a fan of having to do extra work unnecessarily just so it can be released sooner.

I don't normally post things, but I just wanted to say I can't wait to watch the progress on all these races, the sergals especially, I've always wanted to play one, and even tried to make a race like that myself, but the meshes always had weird light reflection issues.... >.> But you can do it!

If only I can finish my female body mesh and rig (which will still take some time), then things should pick up really fast. Since it will have good muscle curves, the topology can easily be re-used for the male mesh. Aside from remodeling proportions, I would just need to edit/redo topology around the chest, waist, crotch, and lengthen/add loops to the limbs.

That sounds like quite a lot of work, though from what I've seen from your earlier progress, I'm sure you can do it. I know a couple other people are interested in it that I told of your project, but they just use the download sections, and don't generally venture into the forums.

For the female textures that the Khajiit Overhaul uses, any ideas on which schlong textures would fit with B3lisario's UNP addon? 

 

Normally I'd use the Feminine Khajiit textures, which does have a texture patch for the mentioned addon. But I've been favoring the version of the mod that has a, well, close to human-skinned belly, which it seems that texture patch likely was made for that mod's full furry option.

I don't really play often, so I don't put the time in to compare, and I don't use human schlongs with beast races either. And when I say I don't play often, I really don't know when I last played, but it wasn't this year. Looking forward to the day I can have will put in the time to be able to do so.

 

If someone wants to make any patches, I'll gladly provide a link in the main post, or host it.

I just remembered today that the Sergal mod is being picked back up again.

I'm posting here to keep updated on any progress. I also do have a question.

Why will the prehensile clitoral hood not be made for female sergals? I am assuming it's because of the extra workload, which I would understand... but I don't know what goes on in other people's heads.

Nightro would be the one to give the final word on this, but right now I don't think there will be any progress anytime soon. Doesn't mean it won't happen (I sure hope it does), just that it may take a while for work on it to start and pick up speed.

 

But again, better wait for Nightro to reply; for all we know, he could come up with the base assets tomorrow and kickstart the whole thing right there, lol. :classic_blink:

Yeah, extra workload, and also the fact I wouldn't even know how to pull off such a thing with the tools and systems we have available. Like, the only thing I can think of would be to rig it to the SOS bones and behaviours, but in that case it would be basically a perma-extended "tongue dick". Just putting extra work into it without actually being able to animate it properly isn't worth it IMO.

 

At most I'd say if/when we work on the race, we could give it a custom UUNP Special body with an edited vagina mesh like Bad Dog did for the Cellan (otters, check the last pic in the spoiler here if you want a showcase), but that would be shape tweaks at most, adding the full "tongue" would probably be out of the question as I said above.

When I have bodies to work with (of my own making). Currently, as for the body aside from the head and meshes like eyes, teeth, etc, I re-did  everything except for most of the torso. I'm just confused on how to go about the rib muscle (serratus anterior & external abdominal obliques) in a clean way without dense topology.

 

Once that is done, it's on to the males. Everything will be reused. The only difference will be the topology for the chest, crotch, and maybe the waist, as well as a few added loops on the legs. When all that is done, I can then move on to a beast body morph and new hand and feet meshes.

 

As for the prehensile clitoris/tongue, it can probably be done with my meshes, or require a new separate larger clit mesh. However, it would require a genital morph, and that may cause problems. It would also be confusing on how to set such a thing up with my knowledge. If anything, it would need to be an add-on made by someone else if possible with the current Skyrim modding tools, and have no interest in doing it myself.

No. Unless you are Jeannie and asking me to make a panda race. But then again, the body would pose a problem and all bears would be malnourished. There would need to be a husky body type/slider in RaceMenu, then set up presets. But in all seriousness, It doesn't quite click and would feel awkward trying to make such a thing unless it was for a tooney styled animated film.

 

 

 

 

Wow, I see LL adopted the default Google style profile images. There is something about the colorful images that scream "look at me and not my post!" Kind of distracting.

Closest you can get is the Dovahbear "race" from Crimes Against Nature, which is mostly the vanilla bear head mesh crudely smashed into fitting the human(oid) skeleton. Also no nude skin support, in case you would be interested in that.

 

EDIT: but still make sure to check out the User Images section; lefttounge's "bear knight" character looks pretty badass and could actually work as a PC. Will still look like a joke when not wearing full-body heavy armor, though.

 

Either that, or making a Lykaios character (or Nord if you use YA) and trying to go for a bear-like look. It would still be a wolf instead of a bear, but IIRC you can get the wolves to be really bear-like, I was surprised by how much Ulfberth War-Bear in YA looked like, well, a bear. I'm pretty sure Bad Dog did that one on purpose, though.

A lot has changed and a lot has been done since I last posted pics. Also, further pics won't be posted by me on this site publicly. When it becomes available, it will have it's own site with different licensing tiers (which includes a free non-commercial version). So legally, they can use the model so long as they purchase the required license. A lot more is planned than that, but this is all I will say on the matter.

May as well post and update.

 

UPDATE

 

I didn't get to finish the body from the neck down as planned. Some changes were made and did further optimization which resulted in a cleaner look to the edge loops.

 

I also desided to redo the lower back and handle edge loops coming from the abs to the back differently. So what I am focused on currently is the upper sides of the latissimus dorsi, the lower mid trapezius, and how best to handle skin folds for both muscular and non-muscular morphs that looks good for both genders.
