I'm having the issue that I have downloaded DD RC9 from the mega link. However, the file keeps saying I do not have permissions to open, edit or read it? So I cannot extract, use MO2 or even delete the file. Has anyone had this happen and know what to do?

I am the only user on this computer, so I have full admin privileges.

 Sounds like a windows thing, or your antivirus locked it for some reason (but the file would be gone in most cases then I think). Try downloading it to a different location or google how to take ownership of a folder in Windows and take "full control" for that folder. 

 

 I'm going to assume (probably incorrectly) that you're newer to modding so my best tip is, don't install fallout 4 or mod organiser to program files if you want to mod it since you'll need to deal with security issues like you're getting now.

You're a star, thank you. I was able to find where my antivirus was locking and can not move and delete the file. Plus, turns out you're right about the program files thing. I had seen about making sure the game wasn't in program files, but did not know that applies for MO2 as well. I'll get that sorted, as could by why I've hat crashes in the past.

When i read the note from the body in front of red rocket and get knocked out my game crashes while on the black loading screen. It happens with both rc9 and rc8, im using fusion girl and the conversion for fg and i have torture devices installed. Anyone know why it might be happening.

Hopefully this is a quick and easy question.  I installed DD RC9, but it's not showing that it can find Sex Attributes, which I have installed.  I'm not sure how to fix it.

Something also keeps telling me I'm not horny, and my Arousal isn't going up over time.  Thanks for any assistance.

Starting a new game shows what I'm expecting... so it must have been something that's stuck from the old DD (2.0.7) version.  Bummer.

I'm using RC9, and at some point when I was going to equip a device, it stopped asking if I wanted to equip it "for real" or not. It used to ask, but at some point it stopped asking and just equips directly, and for the device to work and for the escape options to appear, I have to click twice as if I were unequipping and equipping again.

Is there anyway to modify DD or the mod config to allow for entering power armour while hound in DD armbinders ,etc? I understand that the hand DDs are flagged to block power armor, is there anyway to delete or remove this flag?

Theres a tag for blocking power armour for certain DD, you'd need to edit the mod and all the entries in xEdit/xFOEdit. You may be better making a new mod in xedit and using that instead of editing the DD.esp directly (just in case theres an update to DD that isnt changing the items so your mod should still work), also some mods that load after DD might also alter the items as well so you'd want to incorporate those changes if you liked them in your mod (the one that loads last and overwrites). 

 

If you load all the mods that affect DD in xEdit you'll see all the changes they have made as well which makes that part a little easier, its not that difficult, just a bit time consuming.

Doing that will cause issues, because entering/exiting power armor changes the player race and messes up the scripts/animations.

I've tried several times to remove the lockout timer but it keeps telling me getname doesn't exist, and something about zeros, and won't let me compile. Can someone please help me? I am not a modder and I don't know what I'm doing I just really don't like these timers and want out of these restraints. I wish I could toggle them off in the settings or something. I'd really appreciate a hand please :).

Try getting Sex Attributes then use the hotkey/mcm menu to choose the devices and use your new willpower points to remove them (you can change the amount required to 0 if you want, or use ' set fpa_value_willpower to 100 ' to max it out and do them 1 by 1)

 

 

 

 or unlock them at an armour bench for caps/free

 

 

 

 

If you're getting compile issues you *may* need F4SE sources in your user folder for the creation kit. It is also likely if you got your mod working that the restrains currently equipped to your chracter would still have those timers as well since the script for them would be baked into your save game. Throw the compile error into googles AI mode and it should be able to give you a basic guide that should help.

My lady was fitted with a collar from the institute. No vibrator. The collar apparently triggered the same orgasmic animations as a vibrator. So far, so good. However, the animation continued even after the collar was removed. I checked, and no DD devices were attached.

What could be the reason for this?

The DD itself not trigger this, only vibrators. This is another mod what does it.

I'm at a loss. None of the slots contained a plug or vibrator. If there aren't any hidden slots, then I don't know what is. Strange.

If you not have any strange mods, what uses collars as vibrator and not change collars scripts, then there is only one logical explanation: You wear a vibrator and when it removes, it removes wrong and vibrations not stop, and then you got collar on. So you think, that vibrations is from collar, but really those is from bugged vibrator. How to stop it - i need time to learn vibrations scripts as i not write a part of vibrations in this mod and don't know how it works.

UPD: I speak about DD 2.0 RC8 and RC9 (as new vibration shows up in RC8 and works in RC9)

You mean it's also possible that vibration scripts can get burned in? Or that there could be a hidden vibrator in my character? Is that even possible?

Can that be corrected at all, or was my decision to revert to an earlier save the only right one?

There was complains about stuck vibration animations, but i don't know details and how to fix it. If i find time in that weekend i will see script to try understand how to it's hang up. Mostly it's used timer, but what conditions to stop timer i need check.
