Any idea why each time I open some savefile with resaver it reports unattached instance of InputEnableLayer referring to dd:dd_library: *Devious Devices.esm:XX004c50 ?

I clean it each time but it always return. And my PC does not wear any device, and didn't for quite some time now. Is there any way to stop this from happening/fix this by IDK - stopping this disoriented script somehow?

 

edit: I'm using DD v2.0 RC9 Beta2 with HotFix and PlugFix and all on FG platform

it's set up to hide. Secret, don't tell anyone) I work on hoods and gags to remove hider system. Also this system works bad on NPC. Mask of Shame and latex hood now fit better with any gag in DD.  Also for that was need rework some of gags to fit better on head. I'm not start work with balloon hood, but mostly all gags fits inside nice, except pears, but even if it looks wrong, it acceptable. Also some problem will be with gas mask, what i'm not touch today. penis gag is very different accept of gags, so i even made it look outside on latex hood so it's still nice, but for balloon hood it's not work of course)

I see that part of script, but not remember why. Possibly it's not DD problem as this input enable layer is from torture devices script, what DD just uses. And concept of this made in that way, that physically can't be closed.

is there maybe something wrong with the load order? i reinstalled them and builded the batches.

oh and i play on the og version (1.10.163) if this has to mean something :)

oh god... testing after testing, i have found the problem.. i totally have forgot that i have a mod installed called "discrete female skeleton" and after uninstalling it, it works fine again :'D

Your screenshot shows the FG version of the KFG yoke device.
The DFS has overlaid the ZEX skeleton, which is why the body looks distorted.

Have you been in the wrong place from the start?

I have a savefile thats a lot of hours in. I did read the note "MUST USE new or clean savefile".

I never start another new game from scratch in games like skyrim or fallout.

So has there been a way discovered to make the DD 2.0 work without having to replay 200 hours of the game?
I read about clean savefile being rather dangerous to do for various reasons.

So far I gave it a try anyways. Works perfectly fine. But I think I know why you need a clean savefile. NPC aren´t able to use DD devices on you. They probably get the ability on being spawned for the first time IF the mod is at hand?

Sorry for latest answer. If you migrate from DD 2.0 to RC9 clean save need only for old devices, all other mechanics works fine. Clean save need only to remove old devices with old properties, what will not work in RC9. So because if not need clean save i made plugin DD_item remove what delete all devices in container, inventory (if not equipped) when this item shows up in that container. In that case you don't need clean save as RC9 itself changes not so much only fix bugs and improve item equip engine.  Clean save must be need because Kimi can sell old devices from DD 2.0 in old save - i don't know how exactly traders work. As about NPC not equip devices on player - DD 2.0 RC9 is framework and itself it not equip anything. You need other mods, what uses DD 2.0 RC9 to it work.
