you've probably figured this out by now but I'd bet money it's because you're only sending the player reference with the collar and not with anything else

 

the first code block also has you initialize and check one variable and then use a different one but again, you've probably figured this out by now :P

Did something change in the requirements for compiling DD scripts?

 

I am trying to compile some code after several weeks of inactivity and I am suddenly getting these errors:

 

F:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\zadBoundCombatScript.psc(378,26): FNISs3ModID is not a property on script fnissmquestscript or one of its parents
F:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\zadBoundCombatScript.psc(378,38): cannot compare a none to a int (cast missing or types unrelated)
F:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\zadBoundCombatScript.psc(378,38): cannot relatively compare variables to None

Updating FNIS to the latest version didn't help (not surprising since it doesn't include 'fnissmquestscript').

 

Edit: Nevermind - answering my own question... I had to install the latest version of FNIS Sexy Moves.

Hi, this is my first post here so im sorry if im breaking any rules or anything... first of all, love your mod is very detailed and very kinky.... and the imagination with this mod is limitless XD

 

so here's my problem and i don't know if anyone have the same problem with me or not.

 

i went with 2 playthrough  with this mod the first one when i did not know anything, i just install a lot of mod required for slaverun reloaded by kenjoka. first few first hours is fine but as i progress through the game the CTD is starting and getting worse the only way of getting out of it is loading through a clean save files. but it not always work (sometimes roll back helps) after a while i got at the point when the quest going to solstheim but nothing i do can get me past this quest, the CTD keep happening whenever i go near windhelm harbour or talking to the guy that transport me to solsteheim or manage to go to solstheim (if i can get past the other 2 condition) it keep crashing (either CTD or infinite loading screen) in any of the scenario, so at the end i gave up uninstall everything including skyrim and start fresh.

 

My 2nd playthrough is the same so i started debuging starting with unecessary mod uninstalled  and only keep a few mods (with DD), it fixes the Solstheim problem but it end up the same and i discover the CTD also happening if i go to solitude.. everywhere else is ok (sometimes it crashes but nothing a clean save load couldn't handle) after a few hours of trying i finally know that after uninstalling DD (all 3) the crashes stop completely.. curious by the result i start to install and uninstalling the DD mod again but apparently it kept getting worse by the time is going (meaning the CTD and infinite loading screen is getting frequent overtime this mod installed) until the CTD become to frequent its like impossible to play the game (i try to configure the DD MCM that uses frequent checking and made it the longest but apparently it didnt work)

 

Reading a few pages back im getting number of animation could be the problem of this but my animation count on FNIS is:

 

 7664 animations for 29 mods successfully included (character).
 1817 animations for 6 mods and 39 creatures successfully included..

Your issues don't sound like the animation problem people have been discussing - those issues cause a hard CTD when trying to start the game at all, not ingame CTDs.

 

What you describe sounds like general stability issues - recommendations for that would be to look up some stability guides like STEP to try to improve your modding practices.

 

Other recommendations - install Crash Fixes mod if you haven't already, avoid changing your load order mid-playthrough and enable papyrus logging if you are having issues and see if you have any mods that are obviously causing scripting problems.

Another important thing never use quick or autosave. Always use real saving. Just turn it off completely in the ingame menu. My game now only crashes if i really encounter weird scripting bugs, like the shrine bug that comes with Devious Followers for example.

 

 

SKSE Plugin Preloader in combination with Crash Fixes also helps a lot with stability. If not already done, you should use Loot before you start a new playthrough in case you missed something. And maybe create a Bashed Patch with Wrye Bash to create leveled lists for armors and weapons and cells and whatever you need. I only created leveled lists for my armors and weapons didn't really need anything else.

 

I see you have Racemenu Plugins in your Loadorder you should install ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer maybe you don't need it yet, but if you install KS Hairdoes or any more hairmods you will always crash if you don't install the Precache Killer. And before you start a new game think about installing Alternate Start - Live Another Life or you play the same long starting scene over and over again, with every new game. You will get pissed after 3 new games believe me. :D

I think you might have too many alternate animations (from the list above).  Try just using 1 or 2 of these instead of all of them.

I have encountered this issue with dressing up NPC in devious devices, the NPC hands appear behind her when wearing a straitjacket, also the arm cuffs appear behind her. am wondering if its a issue with DDI or DDX?

This normally dissapears when you restart the game. If that does not work use amputator.

Hi thank you for the recommendation unfortunately it's still the same after few days tinkering with memory patch, enboost, and the other the issue persist (and as far as i experience after the memory patch its getting worse the game crash more often, not building up like before) and after uninstalling the DD, the crashes stop again...

 

But again im just starting to fixing crash so maybe i configure it wrong... like the papyrus it doesnt show why it crash it just show what last loaded, not error or anything that shows up according to few CTD fix sites that i visit (no error, crash, game stopped or anything in papyrus)

the hands disappeared after i restarted. i have never installed or used amputator framework, its not my style of play, i prefer B&D and some S&M. when i put devices on my follower and restarted the hands disappeared but her sword re-equipped.

Normally just changing cells will also fix that, for whatever reason the hands don't update if they are supposed to show or not on npcs when just equipping devices on them.

I'm currently working on a mod where you can mash spacebar to end animations from device events early and it's working quite well so far, I accomplish this by registering for all device events and then calling EndThirdPersonAnimation to end the animation. There's a slight cosmetic issue with this solution though since ending the animation this way doesn't necessarily let the event end immediately, in some cases it ends much later and it looks a little weird.

 

Would it be possible to add a function to the API to cancel the animation part of an event so it concludes? Bonus points for a generic device event that includes information about whether or not it includes animation and for how long it will run.

That sounds interesting. It's a bit like fighting to resist the urge.

Yeah all these animations should be optional in the MCM. Seeing it a few times is nice but, after a while it's just annoying. I almost maxed out the poll interval so i barely see any of these tripping over heels etc. animations. But the animations if you unequip gloves and boots etc. should be toggleable too in the MCM. Sure the creator of these animations wants ppl to see his/her work, but it should be optional if it's so annoying.

 

Everything should be stopped or skipped or fastforwared if you press space. It would also be cool if the jump button on controllers would do that too. I use a XBox One controller but i haven't figured it out where i can assign the button.

 

Edit: Okay i could assign a new button it worked nice. 

 

Anyone knows why Adrianne Avenici (Whiterun Blacksmith) is following me around with 2 Bound Girls. I can't figure out what is causing this. Can i just kill her or disable her with the console? Does this NPC have any quests that could kill my savegame?

 

Just googled it, im just gonna kill her then. :D

Im wondering if you guys gonna release the Transparent Restrictive Gloves at some point and the new Catsuits and if so when?

 

Nothing happened here for quite a while.

 

And i figured out why these NPC's followed me around, they were from Bondage Furniture World it was a "Birthday" Level Up event that got aborted somehow.

Don't worry, we're busy building new and fun things. ? Our main project at the moment is the DD bondage furniture set that Kimy announced a few weeks ago but it's still too early for public testing.

 

Transparent restrictive gloves are still on my agenda. There was some issue with them when I did the other transparent items for DD 4.1 but I have forgotten what exactly that was. So I used the catsuit long gloves instead to not further delay things but I will give the much more "restrainty" looking gloves from DD:a another try for sure.

 

Supertin's new catsuits are also planned for DD 4.2.
