I don't want to annoying you but this is an important topic. That's why I asking again. I think people who playing Skyrim not only because of adult content, use transformation in every or almost every walkthrough. Werewolf and Lord Vampyre transformations is the important part of TES lor and Skyrim particularly. At last, there are many really interesting mods for Werewolfs and Vampires.

In this moment, you can transformate into beast form while wearing DD items. Of course all items and effects from them dissapear while you into beast form and this is not a big deal, because when you'll transform into human form, all restraints will appear in your inventory again, still loked on you, but not apears on your body. This is not a big deal too, because you must to open inventory, click on each item and it automatically will show on you again and seems like all restraints work fine after that.

All, but not hands restraints. Restraints on your hands will be locked on you and you still must to unlock it by key or struggle, but animation would be broken.

That's why I asking to make impossible transform into beast while your hands restrained.

Of course I know that ideas for features to DD 4.1 was closed, and I'm waiting for 4.1 release SOOOOO MUCH, but like I said before, transformations are the important part of Skyrim gameplay and TES lor. Would be good if you did something with that.

Whatever it be, thanks for great mods ?

I'd have to investigate how the vanilla game performs the transformation, and if I can hook into it without changing vanilla assets. That's a big no-no.

Do you have any other mods installed that changes the player character's idle and/or walk animation? If they use the FNIS alternate animation system, maybe they override DD's own alternate animations. No idea why speaking to an NPC would trigger it, but then I'm only speculating here anyway.

I found that i nave 360 walk and run installed, now turn it off and wait FNIS to complete

That's how I tested it:

 

1. Started a new game (obviously newest DD dev version as that's what's installed)

2. Equipped pet play boots

3. Animation changed properly

4. Equipped armbinder

5. Animation changed properly

6. Removed armbinder

7. Animation changed properly

8. Equipped yoke

9. Animation changed properly

 

 

Was that while sprinting or sneaking? It was only while sprinting or sneaking that the issue appeared for me, which I did put in my post reporting it. (My current game is without DD, so I haven't tested since my report.)

Oh, cr.... I must have overlooked that it occurs only when sneaking or sprinting.

 

Hm...Maybe I shouldn't allow sprinting or sneaking with pony boots anyway.

DEC/DCL if they trigger that "shame o cover" animation while wearing armbinder

SD+ can produce this while changing from kneel/stand

 

the search is on!

DCL shouldn't apply the shame offset when restraints are worn. I'll check this out and fix it, if necessary.

Would it be better fixed just by assigning the correct animation? Sprinting or sneaking with pony boots seems sweet to me.

I think that was that for bug fixing. I am not aware of anything else you guys reported not working, and the testing phase has been going for a while now.

 

Which means we're go for launch. :)

Is there any unlisted dependencies for the beta version of DD? I am trying to install DCL, but it stops at 50%. I've looked and it seems the mod stops when there's a dependency that is not being met. But I have every dependency that is listed. So it has to be something that the beta version of Devious Devices depends on, but I can't figure it out.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

 

Of course if trying to install DCL with this in development version of DD is a fruitless adventure, just let me know.

You'd want to look at the DCL dependencies, not the DD framework dependencies.

ZAP 7 or higher is still required for DCUL's current version, but I believe will be removed in the next version.  DCUL should still work with 4.1 just fine.

I'm not sure if this has been fixed in recent versions, but I discovered that you can't actually escape from jail while wearing heavy restraints.

 

Since heavy restraints prevents you from activating beds, and you serve jail time in vanilla by activating a bed, you're actually stuck in jail until you free your hands, or cheat.

The transformations can be disabled by adding a simple condition to the transformation power or magic effect. While this does edit vanilla parts, any mod that adds changes to the werewolf transformation will likely be lower in the load order, so their changes will take effect. So it shouldn't be an issue.
