I did try those Xmls from a site that provided a link to a Mega download, which contained some outdated Xmls from a Chinese web site (the author of HDT I think). Nothing worked (I did reinstalled my stuff properly to get rid of CBP and BBP, 'switched' to HDT SMP, etc) I think mostly due to the version of the files I was using being too old. I'm seeing links to the site in question with a more recent version but not only is the site extremely slow (56K modem era slow), but it looks like registration is needed anyway (clicking on 'file links' leads to some registration window where I obviously have to enter my nickname, some e-mail, a password, etc). So instead of making my head explode with that stuff I'll wait until a kind soul creates a more user-friendly package with up-to-date files in it, and provides the files here on LoversLab if at all possible. Just like any packages so common by now for Oldrim. Gromilla has posted at least twice, in this thread, links to a full working set of xmls for UUNP- just download->extract->copy->paste and done. Not sure how much simpler you want it, but for me a ten-second install (if you're slow) is about as simple as it gets.

Checking CMOS, SysInfo and Task Manager, it shows all 4 cores running and correctly reports my CPU OC speed of 4.0GHz so apparently I'm already good in the core-parking universe. Thanks for the link. 1

Worked example: Skirt01_1.nif Skirt01_0.nif LOL thanks, Gromilla- I had already d/l them but decided not to install them due the the strange neck seam in the image- it looks like the neck has exploded. Also, those are just the meshes, without textures, and I don't know where to get the textures. I can make my own plugin to support the skirts, but not my own textures.

I didn't check the 80+ pages of the thread, but I contacted panchovix, he's currently helping me a lot with the whole setup. I'm almost done actually now. I did get the files from Gromilla's Mediafire. It's pretty tricky to set it all up but it's mostly done. The Schlong right now suffers from a case of severe distortion issues though (but I'll keep that for my private convo with panchovix as we're communicating since the past 2 days or so about this).

Roughly made, normal maps are incomprehensible as drawn, the bones of the body are not added to the skirt, collisions are not registered as necessary, all the fabric passes through the legs and all that. But this is my opinion
Yinkle Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Hey guys, I've been working on an smp enabled dress using the standard skirt bones available in sse outfit studio. I've managed to get the physics working nicely and added a proxy "virtualCBBE" mesh for collissions which works partially but the skirt part (which is quite tight fitting) still occassionally clips through the body no matter what I do with the xml settings. My question is this, is it inevitable that you will get some clipping with hdt smp enabled clothing?

I know how to paint body weights in Outfit Studio- did you try to paint/copy pelvis, butt, belly and thigh weights onto these skirts? If my legs clip through them, I agree with you: despite how badly I want some non-cape cloth-physics clothing, I can't use this skirt.

If he gets bored or something fails, then I may be engaged. ?

Yinkle Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 the wondrous thing about these bones is that you can copy them between meshes in outfit studio and not cause huge issues in the resulting nif file unlike custom bones.

Yinkle Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I suspect it depends on the skeleton you have selected in the bodyslide settings. Ousnious would know better than me but I'd rather not pester him
Gromilla Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 30 minutes ago, Yinkle said: I suspect it depends on the skeleton you have selected in the bodyslide settings Yes! I think that if these bones are in the skeleton of the Outfit Studio, then they can be connected to any body. In general, I changed the skeleton of OS on modified xpmsse 4.51 By the way, if we scaly bones 02 and 03 And we can also duplicate them to rename and configure. Great idea!, then we can to revive more longer skirts. It will be somewhat rude, but I think it will go for a heavy cloth
Yinkle Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 So in theory you could apply cloth physics to all outfits fairly easily Now we need to get around the clipping issue
