I have RTX 2080, i9 CPU, 64 GB ram, and if HDT SMP handling body physic, clothes and wigs, the answer is no, even with this config. Now, that body hadled by CBPC, clothes/wigs by HDT SMP, i can play without any lags. Like i said a few post before, full modded Skyrim with HDT SMP kills my PC. No other game can do this right now...

Think of it like taking a 60 ton tank to get groceries. Sure, you'll get your food but it ain't efficient. That's what SMP with Artesian's cloaks is. There's ways to make it more efficient but its still going to be a 40 ton tank or 20 ton tank. 1
Gromilla Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 I'll just say that the first time I installed the game a year and a half ago. it was the LE version. a week later I decided to see what the CE version is. My working comp AMD A10-5700 8gb and direct v-card AMD radeon HD7660. And everything that I do, I do on it. I do not see how the grass is swaying, or what little things are in the textures (2k or 4k or 8 k, hmm ..) if you can see it is already good But my zombie comp is enough to think about how this or that part of something will move. Or all together ... 1

Oh I dunno, I do think part of the longevity of the game has to do with it actually being a good game underneath the modding. For all the fun I have with modding, I still find myself occasionally playing and enjoying more or less vanilla gameplay on my enhanced vanilla MO2 profile. The game Bethesda designed really is quite a solid game because of the emergent gameplay - there's usually something interesting or amusing happens to you as you wander around. Good mods just add to the fun.

cminnow Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 One bonus of CBPC over SMP? It works with enhanced camera out of the box since it just affects the bones directly. I'm sure SMP could work if we had the XML setup correctly for the first person bodies... Just not sure how to do it.

Improved camera... whatever you want to call it, it just works best of all the FP mods and its super simple to use. JoP and IPV make me want to barf.
