So no. As for the new new update: everything seems to be working correctly now. Didn't get any CTD or fps-drops in a 30min test run.

And the physics aren't twitching either. Looks like Hydrogen succeeded in making the framework more reliant on the GPU.

Yundao hairs can be bitchy sometimes, i always have to edit the xml files because of "piority"-tags, missing bones and therefore not existing constrains. The easiest way is to "comment them out" and check the smp error log. if the are no more errors the wigs shouldn't crash your system. 1

What happens if you give the virtual body in the nif physics accidentally such as if it's a unnp body under the hair AND you use a uunp body for your character? Oh yeah, I was wondering why some hairs would be okay most of the time and then turn to jelly at certain times. The old version is very inconsistent
lackesis Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Anyone having problem with save? after play a period of time (about 20 saves) my 1573 will start 100% ctd when load save, you probably thinking this save is corrupt dead! but NO the f*** 1562 can load the save without problem...all i want to say is don't delete your 1562 too fast. now my face is like this this 1573 really a big nightmare for me.

Firstly, I don't "own" YunDao SMP Wigs SE- I inherited it when the original converter/uploader got himself banned. I d/l version 5.5 from @realclone's Oldrim YunDao page shortly after he released it last year, but like its predecessor (the version currently offered on "my" YunDao page), half the wigs in it are broken in one way or another- either the mesh, the xml or both. I don't know how to fix either. Thankfully, a friend here on LL volunteered to help and reported a couple of weeks ago that he had basically finished, then the next day said "well not so fast, got a few more small things to do." Then his computer crashed, locked up, whatever. So I have no idea if or when I will upload version 5.5 (the "updated version" you asked about.) Bottom line: I won't upload 5.5 until it's fixed, and after all this crap with version 5.5 I'm damn sure not going to even bother trying to convert version 6.8 or whatever the latest Oldrim version is. I'm sure someone else can convert it just fine, and as soon as they do I'll take down "my" YunDao page- I hate trying to support a mod I can't fix. The fact that nobody before me bothered to fix any of it still doesn't mitigate my commitment to avoid ever having my name attached to such a broken mod as 5.5 turned out to be.

There is a newer version (6.8) on the Oldrim Nexus but I'm not touching it after all the problems with version 5.5. If Gromilla wants to convert 6.8 of course he is free to do so (with RealClone's permission, of course), and if he did that, then yes, that would be all the YunDao SMP wigs released so far.

Currently, there is no physics engine for SSE that can animate character-creation/racemenu-applied hair styles. Consequently, there are no physics-enabled hairstyles for SSE. 1

Reveal hidden contents Would you say that virtual low poly meshes with triangle vs vertex collisions are the best way to do collisions for now? Shouldn't it be possible to make the player body (naked) a global triangle object and have it interact directly with the vertices of capes or hair (at significant cost compare to the low poly version)? Obviously, I guess one major drawback would be that this wouldn't work if the player used body switchers or armors without XML declarations.
