SirCrazy Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I'm not sure what I messed up, but, I started the game completely normally, all was good, until I left the vault. now, whenever I look at my Pip-Boy, I just see an arm. I can't use my inventory like this, and I don't know what to do. It's a known bug. If you just left the vault, wait for a minute or 2 (real life not game time) and the pip-boy will reappear. If that does not work then open the console and type the line below and press 'Enter': player.equipitem 21b3b Close the console and your pip boy will be equipped.

It tries to get some kind of property from 0904930E, which cannot be resolved and I have all required mods installed. It is an object from an array and comes after _TD_RestraintMovementSpell "TDRestraintMovementSpell" [sPEL:0F0090F6]. I cannot find the ID xx04930E anywhere in DD, DCW or TD. EDIT: Forgot to mention, it is the Vault Disciplinary Dress. 1

aardvarkgamma Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Some "Armors" like the Black Latex Slave Harness also have improper Flags set in the ESM on what kind of Armor and Armor Addon they are. Played around a bit and now I no longer have 2 bodies in 3rd person and visible arms in 1st person. (Without the fix, it can happen, that you have the Harness equipped AND your other armor and 2 bodies will be rendered. This can happen, if the Flags for the DD Armors are not set up properly.) Some minor fixes here and there needed. EDIT: (This is for people who want to fix the 1st person and 3rd person issues themselves and have some experience in FO4Edit) I had some old methods mixed up with new ones...anyway, here is a rundown what you would have to change to no longer have either strange model errors in 1st person while crouching and/or no longer have double bodies in third person. I will take Black Latex Slave Harness as an example. I had 2 bodies in 3rd person and errors in 1st person. 1. I opened the ESM with FO4Edit (I prefer it over the CK right now, since I only do mini modding and it is faster) 2. I expanded Devious Devices.esm and then expanded its Armor Addon and Armor Categories. 3. I made a copy of DD_Harness_Latex_Black_AA from Armor Addon and DD_Harness_Latex_Black_Rendered from Armor into a new ESP (you can also edit the main ESM directly, but I do not recommend it). (Steps below assume you copied it into a new ESP!) 4a. Then I modified the BOD2 - Biped Body Template Category from DD_Harness_Latex_Black_AA and replaced the 36 - Torso flag with 33 - BODY. 4b. Next, I added a new entry into the "Female 1st Person" Category and filled in the following: actors\character\characterassets\1stpersonfemalebody.nif 5. Let's move to DD_Harness_Latex_Black_Rendered. Here I modified the BOD2 - Biped Body Template Flags and added 33 - BODY to 36 - Torso and 50 - Neck. 6. Exit FO4Edit and confirm, that you want to save the new ESP. That fixed the issues. I then did the same to DD_Harness_Latex_Red_AA, DD_Harness_Latex_White_AA, DD_Harness_Latex_Red_Rendered and DD_Harness_Latex_White_Rendered respectively. TL;DR: There was no 1st person mesh assigned and that confused the game. 1st person 3rd person flags were not properly set. I had an issue with two bodies as well but what you just posted isn't a solution for it. The problem is that the Institute Chastity Belt is set to use slot 33 (body), which the base chastity belts don't. This was probably to prevent you from equipping clothing. However, that change probably should've been made to the slave harness, because it already displays a body. To fix this, remove slot 33 from the belt and add it to the slave harness. All this is done in DCW, don't change ANY base DD files. I also found that the Institute Chastity Belt wasn't working correctly in bodyslide, its sliders had no effect. I fixed this by opening it up in Outfit Studio and conforming the sliders, which is kind of an involved process: 1) Open Outfit Studio. Create a new project, using CBBE Body as the reference body and Institute Chastity Belt.nif as the outfit. 2) Delete the included body (should be called something like "CBBE_outfit"). 3) Hit Sliders -> Conform All 4) Save the project as Institute Chastity Belt, with output path "meshes\Collar" and output file "Chastity_Belt_F" 5) Build the belt in Bodyslide. Try moving the waist slider to make sure it changes the shape of the belt.
xxDarkSlayerxx Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Yea, a good amount of devices from the mod can be cleaned up with not including the reference (means, cbbe body), which then results in no first person mesh issues and no double body, but still working properly. I am not sure how many of the meshes have broken sliders, tho.

This can be the basis for something like vinfimy's CP or some unified mod menu later. It's not hard to do a help dcw 0 to see all the variables and what they are set to. I enjoyed most of your addition to the opening - very entertaining to watch my character bunny-hop around the vault looking for a way to get out of her restraints. However the essentially unremovable chastity belt and extended enforced nakedness is a bit more hardcore than I'd like, since it makes anything like normal gameplay difficult at best. I wonder if you could create a somewhat less hardcore option - perhaps with a more easily removed belt?

A quick (and probably bad) information is to open the bodyslide app (located at Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Tools\BodySlide) and pick the correct one. If your system is not 64-bit, don't use the BodySlide x64 app. Select the preset you want (top right, second option) and create a body you want (I can't help you with this because I don't understand this either) and, at the bottom right of the app. select batch build then select everything you want/need then select build. Should fix your invisibility problem and I hope this doesn't create any more problems. If you want to do it right, google it (sorry to say that but I don't know much about this either) or just use my quick, and probably flawed, way.

Tyrant99 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Bug Report When I opened a box trap that contained the 'Black Latex Corset', the corset equipped but would not register as being 'on' (even though it was on), if one clicked on it to remove, the only options were: 'Put it on' or 'Leave it alone', (and 'Put it on' option didn't change the state) - so even with a restraints key in inventory it was not possible to remove as the dialogue options to unlock or escape weren't there. The corset was however on and it was not possible to replace it with any other armor, trade it etc, I even almost gave up on trying to console out! I also went through the readme and other mod info to see if there was a debug anywhere, but didn't see that either, I did finally manage to find a console work around that didn't break the game, but that's a story for another day. Of the 2 skins of the Black Latex Corset, 0D02F883 was the one that had the issue, I tested the other Black Latex Corset skin, 0D051BEC, and that one acted normally. Hopefully this information is detailed enough for you. Thanks for the great mod!

I went back to the save where I was in this restraint and unequipped it (via brute force console) and then re-equipped it, trying to see if it was a one-off thing, but the same bug as above happened. I also unequipped it, dropped it, then spawned a fresh one in my inventory via console and equipped that, same bug. So at least for me, the issue is persistent with this item. I did thumb around a bit in FO4Editor, nothing appeared to be obviously amiss, tried reassigning some of the asset Keyword Properties etc. to see if I could change behavior, but no luck. I am however not the most experienced modder, so someone smarter than me will need to figure it out =) On the plus side, I got inspired to fix all of my other favorite modded armors to be compatible with your devious shock collar script, you know, for more immersion. So there's that!
firebinder Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I found an easy way to escape from many, perhaps all restraints. The "See You Sleep" mod has a "sleep undressed" option, which nicely removes all apparel every time you go to bed - including locked on restraints. My character was having a devil of a time getting a blindfold off, finally decided to go to bed and presto! the next morning the troublesome blindfold was off. I suspect you didn't intend for her to escape so easily. Since this is caused by a different mod I'm not sure what you can do about it, but I thought I'd report it anyway. By the way, could you tell me what the default chance is for "struggling" out of a restraint is? Is it the same for all, or are some restraints harder?

Also, another thing I noticed while playing through the V111 intro, I think it's the slave harness but something makes the 3rd person body show in 1st person. That's well and good, if it wasn't for the fact the default player animation leans forward a little, thus often obscuring the screen in 1st. Again, not much an issue if you're using melee because that's a plus, but just thought you'd want to know!

Just jog over to Sanctuary and it will come back. Also about the obscured vision bug, I noticed this mostly when sneaking. After quickly running through the Belted quest, and getting the Chastity Belt removed, I noticed the problem cleared up. So most likely it's an issue with the Chastity Belt. Also both John and his ex-girlfriend were completely mute! Were there supposed to be subtitles? Cause the quest advanced ok, but every time i talked to either of the we just stood around staring/smiling at each other until the next text choice popped up. X3 P.S. Can anyone tell me what the Vault Overseer's key is for? I think it was added by this mod, but can't find anything it goes too...
