Script command "dcw_enableCombatSurrender" Not found.....help. I'm getting tired of my character surrendering herself at ~20% hp

 

It's a global variable, not a command. You have to type "Set dcw_enableCombatSurrender to 0" to disable the feature.

you cant "coc diamondcitywall" or anywhere safe place? That's one I use sometimes.

 

 

Survival difficulty prevents use of "coc diamondcitywall", along with all other console commands. As such, the Nora gets "killed" at 10% hp when she would otherwise survive.

"help dcw 3" after the set command will show the new value. I use this any time I adjust DD or DCW config variables to confirm I set things correctly.

 

Sounds like you might have another mod colliding with the DCW surrender however.

The "instructions" note from Vault 111 is always broken for me.  It just says "To the team: Before you leave, lock".  I checked the ESP file and see that the note should be much longer.  Anyone else having this issue?

Before you leave, lock <Alias=Player> in this chastity belt. It's the latest design, and secure enough that nobody but us can ever unlock it. It might be a good precaution in case we need to control her one day.
It's fitted with a tracking device, so we will know where she is, in case she gets out for some reason. It is also fitted with some protective tech. In contrast to her husband, she's not a soldier. She wouldn't survive ten minutes out there without some extra protection.
If either of them offers any resistance whatsoever, restrain them with wrist and ankle shackles when you refreeze them. We don't need a fight in case we ever need to thaw them.

I thought that was the entire note because Nora was 'locked' when she woke up. Good find!

Has anyone encountered a bug at the end of the initial quest where the doctor says she removes the belt and equips it on her self but it doesn't remove yours (the initial belt) and just spawns a new one on her instead?

 

...played through it twice now and it has happened both times where the belt is not removed from my pc.

Looking in the creation kit, it appears that the quest aliases are not setup, but I don't know enough to be sure.

You are correct, I forgot to put this book into a quest alias. I fixed this in my dev build already.

I've also noticed that I can still put on my vault suit after getting the handcuffs unlocked.  Doing so will also remove the harness.  It looks like the harness isn't blocking the player from getting dressed, in fact, getting dressed unequips the harness.

I haven't seen anything about the jack the belter quest.  I didn't have subtitles on (no idea what the dugout guy said at all) and now i have an area where I'm supposed to look for jack, but i can't find anything at all.  I've tried waiting in the area, but nothing really has happened.  I'm not sure if i need to do or have something with me to progress the quest, and the constant moaning is starting to drive me insane.  Any clue as to my next step?

You need to enable subtitles with this mod because there are no custom voices/

 

 

And there must be a note with the next clue

I am really liking the mod. However, I don't suppose there is any way to convince the Slave Collar to stop shocking my Deathclaw girl, is there? The body from that mod is technically under-armor, despite being fully nude.

I've played with DCW for a couple of hours now, did the initial Belted! quest. It was fun concept but had some technical difficulties.

Was I supposed to only able to wear the institute belt and slave harness until I finished John's quest? Because I could put on a modded vault-tec slave suit under it just fine.

The sequence where I left a letter in the dead drop seemed to get an instant reply, but thankfully the rest of the quest went off as intended.

 

After that I got a slave collar a couple of times, couldn't get it to enforce nakedness. Tried taking everything off myself, then swapping through a few different outfits (vault-tec slave, quiet cosplay, tactical swimwear) but no reaction from the collar. I also had one event with slave collar and jacks belt at the same time.

Edit: Stupid me, turns out my slutty clothes are probably missing some keywords or something, regular clothing works just fine.

 

About Jack the Belter, the first time I did the quest it seemed to work as it should, but all other encounters just end with him hanging out at sanctuary.

Edit 2: Seems Dr. Jones likes to hang out up by vault 111 as well.

 

It's a shame about the issues because I had a great time otherwise. Almost wish I could have John belt me just to keep Jack away tongue.png

I got belted 3 times in a row ( all within 5 min or so after completing the quest ) and the last time it was more severe, is this intended? I had to slow walk half way through the wasteland and now I think I have to slow walk all over the place again to find Jack, again. 

 

I'm loving this mod so far ^^

So after I finished the 3rd belter "quest"  I was still in a latex restrictive suit and after years ( more like a few hours ) of trying to pick the lock. When my PC was free she suddenly surrendered because earlier I was attacked but nothing happened , maybe I couldn't surrender because of the suit? Anyways after the surrender I got to the loading screen and now it's stuck there.

 

*edit2* 

after 15 or so minutes the game finally loaded again ( I tried coc RedRocketExt during the load, dunno if it helped or not ) and now my PC is locked up again. Everything seems to be working so far, I haven't looted that many containers but I do hope I don't get the belter quest again ( part of me does hope for it )

 

*edit3* Got the long loading screen again after getting killed by some gunners, but now I pressed enter and I could hear that it pressed something so I pressed enter again and got back much faster to where I ended up. So it seems the screen that informs me that my PC is being restrained is not showing up as it should for me. It's just a minor issue now that I know how to resolve it.

I had the same issue with surrender.  You can see the text that should be displayed in dcw_main_playerRefScript.psc

 

 

Realizing that you have no chance to win this fight, you surrender and beg for mercy.

 

You submit and offer no resistance while your victorious enemies lock you in restraints and drag you away...

 

Those are the messages that are "behind the loading screen"

The combat surrender thing doesn't seem to be working - clean install of this and devious devices, plus all requirements. I've seen one combat surrender, and every other time I'm defeated I just get the 'beaten unconscious' message and wake up unrestrained in a random place.

 

I've checked and dcw_enablecombatsurrender is set to 1. is there a toggle for the % of health it occurs at?

Really getting a kick out of this mod. A suggestion: Could a script be added to remove the player's weapons, ammo, food/chems and everything else but the bondage gear worn and added by the captors? Seems a bit odd that raiders would take a captive, bind her then let her go with all her stuff.

 

Losing your things should be part of the penalty, making you take care to not get captured. Or perhaps as a global variable for those who want it?

Since 1.10 hit I decided to start a new char with mods that don't need F4SE.

 

When I leave the vault the pip-boy is invisible. Tried the command to unhide it but it did not work.

When I put on the the vault-tec disciplining dress my char is in a T-pose ( all the other outfits seems to work, and I can't seem to find that dress in the body slide )

 

*edit*

 

installed the DD Reference Mesh Fix v0.1.0 and ran body slide again and now it works again. I can see the pip-boy and the dress looks like it should ( smoking hot )

Probably been reported already, but anyways.. 

 

1. Get locked into blindfold. Blindfold effect starts.

2. Get locked into another restraint. Blindfold effect goes away. This is the bug.

 

I've got a fresh Fallout 4 + DD + Cursed Wasteland -install. In addition, I have the Key Nuker + Key Ring mod. That's all the mods I have now.

I'm not sure if this is a DD or CW issue..

Just wanted to say that I've been having so much fun with all the new things you've added into DCW. I will say though, I think it would be cool if when you surrender in combat, or are defeated, it would be a bit more immersive if you end up at a random Red Rocket station. Or atleast somewhere out in the wasteland, like you are left to fend for yourself, bound or not. It's kinda weird being in combat, surrendering or being defeated, and then find yourself standing in dugout inn lol. Either way though, great work! Look forward to what you will do next :D

I agree, it's weird to end up in a random location, sometimes far away. Who carried me there? And why?

I'd rather wake up somewhere nearby. Maybe bound, or otherwise punished for the defeat.
