Hey, Sorry If This Is uninformed but is there a code for giving yourself the items in the mod?

 

You should be able to give them to yourself the same way you give any other item to yourself.  Just open up the command console and type:

 

help "the name of the item your looking for" 4

 

and it should give you a list of items and numbers.

 

Then just type:

 

player.additem (whatever number it gave you) (the number of items you want)

That's not something you should do with the items in this mod, as they are part of quests and make little sense without the quest (you can't even remove some of them without the quest scripts doing that). You can buy standard DD restraints from my namesake in the Memory Den.

Hi Kimy, is there a way to define the item that can drop thru DCW  (a bit like it's the case in Skyrim)? I know you have no MCM but if it can be done thru console that would be great.

DCW drops random items from DD on you. You can adjust the global trap chances, but not assign different values to specific item categories, like you could in DCL. This is something that would get complicated quick with the console.

 

The items actually defined by DCW are quest items that will equip with their respective quests.

Hello, it's me again! So, I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say this: the toolbox is not interactive. I cant drop the note for some reason, unless their is a condition I'm missing.

Having a bit of an odd issue. Just installed the mod and all it's requirements, but after exiting the cryo pod someting in the character model clips in front of the camera in first person view. Searching on the issue suggests this usually some idiot using god mode for normal play, which isn't the case here. I can fix the issue with a force unequip all, but that causes a number of other things to break and I'd prefer a less extreme fix if possible.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention I'd already batch built the meshes in CBBE, using the preset that matched the installed body option.

The first person blob should be gone with the next patch, at least for this item.

 

Good to hear! I didn't see it in the known issues on the first page so I thought I'd found a wierd bug through normal use.

I'm finally trying this out. With the implementation of sex mods starting to roll in, I'm much more inclined to strap on my indecent ouftits (and strapons) as well as the glorious gear from mods like this, where applicable. Thank you SO much, seriously, for listing the console codes required to adjust chances for things to drop with no MCM. xD I am, always have been, and always will be, a console-use junky... anything from impatience to me wanting to test something pops open that tweaking console, and this list of keywords is very helpful to me.

Hey, is there any way to make this mod compatible with Four-Play? Especially Four-Play Violate... Maybe a way to make it not unequip your stuff?

I will eventually work on this, as soon as 4P has reached some sort of stability.

Thanks for the fast answer! Another one: Is there any way to change the amount of time you have to be locked in a restraint? I would like to be able to use a restraint key right away. Also, if you edited four-play to not strip you, would this mod work properly?

The modder can influence the lock shield timer. The user can not. That's intentional.

 

And yes, it would. Stripping restraints is the only clash between 4P and DD I am aware of. As I said, it will be addressed down the road. Right now DocClox is busy with getting 4P stable, so I don't want to pester him with compatibility stuff at this time. :)

Okay so I've been testing the mod, and whenever I get to about an hour or so of playtime my computer bluescreens, usually when I get a new restraint. I really can't provide much more data...

 

EDIT: I've been trying to replicate it, and it seems to be an issue with stacking restraints: I went to the NPC that sells restraints and it seemed to just skyrocket my memory usage from 4GB to just crashing my computer (I have 8GB RAM), and I don't know what's going wrong. I'm using the script extender, too.

it should not make BSOD tho.... It seems more like a BIOS/chipset (if it is really RAM-related) issue as game should stop responding or CTD but not make your PC crash. Try install newest drivers for hardware :o

 

Unless... it is F4/F4SE bug and they do some nasty stuff with memory where they should not :/

Stripping the restraints via <targetid><unequipall> is possible, but you end up with a naked restrained charater, wich sucks.   ;) Seems thats the only way it works in my game, since im not able to actualy see the restraint in the inventory. If i wanna equip restraints on npc's, the first restraint i drop in there inventory makes the body go invisible, either removing it again or drop another of the same restraint  fixes that? The 2. aint apliied, so donno how to release my NPCs from restraint.  :D Wich makes it "same same" if im using Four - Play or not. I can however use the restraint key on myself tough.

Is it supposed to be possible to escape from the slave collar by using the struggle option? The in-game note suggests this shouldn't be possible, but it did happen after selecting 'struggle' following a large number of failed lockpicking attempts.

 

Additional info: Choosing 'examine' showed the slave collar was difficult, but not impossible, to escape by struggling.

Hey there, long time lurker here on LL.

 

I am currently running DCW and DD. After completing the belted quest and having it removed I came across a Protectron that had been killed by some Mirelurks, after killing them and looting the Protectron the slave collar quest initiated (from the protectron) while still having the harness on from the belted quest.

 

I am not sure if this is a bug or not. I didn't manage to get a SS either because as soon as it happened I went back and loaded a save from a few minutes prior remembering that before I ever played the belted quest the slave collar could only be looted from crates and boxes.

 

Also, great work on the belted quest and your FO4 mods (dont play Skyrim).

The slave collar can equip at any time no other quest is running. The harness from the belted quest is a very regular item that won't break anything if you have it equipped. You're sort of meant to have it equipped for a bit longer after completing the quest. The collar also doesn't react to it.

Is it? I wonder because normal restrains keys do not open it (it says that you have no matching key). It seems only viable option is to pick it with bobby pins or try to struggle.

You indeed won't find a key (the quest giver actually says so!) You will have to struggle out of it or lockpick it or cut it open, indeed. That's fully intended. :)
