3. I set variable for Pip Hider and it suddenly works, but i've no idea why, maybe a timer checks the variable every 5 minutes?

 

The pip-boy hider won't do anything unless you set the associated global variable. Once it's enabled, the associated script(s) seems to run once every minute or so.

In reference to the "double bodies" effect.  I have posted a mod that can fix this.  Simply install Devices Devices, install my mod, and rebuild the devices in bodyslide.

After getting out of cryo, where do I go to continue the belt quest? The quest log just says to find someone to talk to. I -think- it’s John, just as if a regular Jack the Belter quest was triggered but there is no hint at all.

 

Hopefully I didn’t break anything by escaping the vault with wrist cuffs on (I trapped the roaches behind a door and waited until I was out of combat to pick up the PipBoy, but later realized that I had to go back, lol)

 

By the way, thank you so much for such an amazing mod! I am a huge fan of it on Skyrim, where I even modified the plugs to kill the player if arousal hits 100 by means of electrocution, explosion, or freeze to death. Now that’s what you call “hardcore” :D

CUSTOMIZATION

 

There is no convenient way to facilitate user settings in Fallout 4. However, the mod still lets you customize many features to your liking using the console. Here are the settings:
General:
- dcw_HidePipBoy: 0 disables the built-in PipBoy hider, 1 (default) enables it.
Cursed Loot:
- dcw_cursedlootchance: % chance to get a random restraint locked on you when opening a container
- dcw_keydropchance: % chance to find random keys
- dcw_keylosechance: % chance to lose keys when a restraint is equipped
- dcw_restraintsdropchance: % chance to find random restraints without them equipping on you.
Slave Collar:
- dcw_slavecollardropchance: % chance to get the slave collar locked on you when opening a container.
- dcw_slavecollarkeydropchance: % chance to find the slave collar key when opening a container (and wearing the collar).
Belted Quest:
- dcw_enableBeltedQuest: 0 disables the quest, 1 (default) enables it. Use the setting in pre-war Sanctuary or it won't do anything.
Jack The Belter:
- dcw_jackquestchance: % chance to activate the quest when opening a container.
- dcw_jackquestchancesleep: % chance to activate the quest when sleeping/waiting.

I just made a bat file to set them all to what I want them to be.

First off, Kimy, I'd like to say that I am very much enjoying this mod. Thank you *so* much for making this!

 

A few questions:

 

1) Is there any way to disable certain items within the mod? Such as the hoods and hobbles?

 

2) I seem to have gotten belted by Jack again, after I got his belt off the first time, but he wouldn't speak to me again to let me get it off... Is this intentional?

 

3) Any chance that you could include spreader bars?

 

4) Is there any way to turn off the moaning sounds when you're plugged? I love love love having a plug in me, and the little notice saying I'm being stimulated is great, but I'd like to turn off the sound.

 

5) Is there any way to reduce the amount of time you spend talking to the Kimy character (or John the Smith, or Jack, or whomever)? Sometimes I've spoken to them a bunch of times, and I just want to get to the meat of the matter, as it were.

 

I have a RL fear of having my legs tied together, or being blindfolded. Spreader bars with a plug and dildo are way up my alley, but for some reason having my legs tied together just freaks me out. And blindfolds/hoods/etc are the same way... So I'd love to be able to disable them, because I keep having to reload if I get them in a cursed loot chest.

 

Thanks again for making this. Totally loving it, in, er, that sort of way.

Anyway, i'm not finding any devious devices for a while now. I set chance to 100% using command "set dcw_cursedlootchance to 100". I can see that the chance is at 100 using the command "help dcw_cursedlootchance 3", but still no more devious devices. I'm not sure if it's caused by other mods, as i'm not sure when this started. It might have started about the time i found jack's belt, so could this be a feature?


I also put cursed wasteland at the end of load order, so it wins in conflict situations.

Possible exploit:

 

I found myself in Goodneighbor early in the game (thank you, Super Mutants, for that. Sorry I was still wearing the chastity belt...) -- and it seems as if you can "sell" your chastity belt and slave harness to Kimy in return for new toys, although you will -- of course -- keep them on. You can then take the new toys to KLEO or Daisy and sell them there for caps or guns or whatever, all without losing a single thing.

 

It'd take awhile, and it's super-cheesy, so I didn't bother (although I'll admit I "bought" myself a nice pair of piercings), but it's there. Maybe make the sell value of the initial chastity belt and slave harness 0?

This is actually what happens without voice files for the quest dialogue. In Skyrim, somebody made a silent voice mod that worked for every mod without voice files, but alas, this hasn't been ported to FO4 as yet. But if you spend a little time in the CK and use the silent voice generator on Nexus (it involves exporting quest dialogue and then running the exported text files through the voice generator), you can make voice files that'll let you click through dialogue as normal.

I also think the devices are worth too much. I'm playing on survival and have gotten a lot of money through them...

 

 

Does anyone know a way to remove some of the resticting effects from a device? I'd like to wear the silver chain harness permanently, but as it includes leg and hand restraints, it reduces movement speed and prevents combat. I'd like to remove these two effects. I tried with FO4Edit and the GEK, but couldn't figure out how to do this.

Not too sure if this is a quirk of my setup or something going wrong, but I got the jack the belter quest, ran around various places till I found him, then got wrapped up in the straight jacket/hobble dress type thing, only problem is how do I get the stuggle/escape option to pop up, when I enter inventory all I get is you can not access this device with sealed hands, fair enough, but when exiting nothing happens, I am using the pip pad mod though.

 

Is getting the option to escape a timed thing or is something odd going on?

The more puzzling thing is why this trap triggered in the first place. It's not supposed to while you are wearing Jack's belt... oO

Version 1.4

 

- Added: Alice in Wasteland quest: The scientist who once helped you out of your chastity belt now requires YOUR help. Note: This new quest will start automatically, after you have completed Belted! and some other parts of the main quest (killed Kellog to be exact).
- Changed: Re-enabled the chastity bra for the Belted! quest.
- Changed: Dresses can now be worn over the Belted! chastity gear.
- Changed: The character will now surrender right away if she is wearing wrist restraints.
- Fixed: Weapons will now be sheathed/put away when surrendering.
- Fixed: Combat surrender makes you no longer occasionally get stuck in an endless load screen.
- Fixed: Added some missing races to the list used for checking if you got defeated by humanoids.

Nah it was after I found him when he offers to remove the belt and change it to something of his choice, the whatever he puts you in (no inventory access you can no idea just what the hell he equipped me with, though I could console if it becomes necessary), he says you want to be a strong woman or something like that and should be able to stuggle your way out, , normally you can access your inventory then choose to try to remove the item, then choose which option you want to try to escape with, just not sure how to get the option to try to stuggle free when you can not access your inventory, is there a hot key assigned to it or something.

Having issues with double body here.  Doesn't appear to have anything wrong till I cut off the hobble dress and reveal the Chastity Belt and Harness beneath it.  I've read through the forums and tried every fix I've seen but with no success.  It is a fresh install with the latest versions of all mods.  I've used bodyslide to make sure everything was built to the correct presets as well.

So Alice's hideout seems to...uh...there are no walls, floor, or ceiling, everything's got afterimages everywhere, and everything that isn't nailed down is constantly falling and being reset to height to fall again. For some reason, it looks like the room itself isn't loading, just the furnishings and characters in it. I can even talk to Alice, as long as I don't mind juggling up and down constantly during it. Any ideas?

 

EDIT: Additionally, when I enter the hideout, I see two messages about lacking keys. These messages appear whether or not I have any restraints locked on, and do not reflect me actually attempting to remove anything. Screenshots attached show both the messages and the crazy surreal bounce-castle world. The motion-streaking is because everything that isn't nailed down (player included) is bouncing up and down wildly.
