porkybork Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I have officially reached the age where I need to stretch every morning or else all my joints will click when I move and my shoulders will be sore by nighttime. I’m not even 30. What the fuck.

It’s like those stories of people winning the lottery and then getting kidnapped or murdered by their relatives over the money. Like, damn, you really gotta start a new life if you suddenly get rich like that.

Seems like a sudden infusion of a large amount of money into the lives of people who have no experience being rich is, to put it mildly, a troublesome issue for them and those near them.

Humans are a Despicable lot, always want what the other has that they do not whether that is Money or "fill in this blank", the itemized list could go on too far to list here. Greed, Lust, Love, Hatred, Ambition, Poverty, etc. etc. If we had all been raised properly without the constant divisive Agencies (apply LL rules here) telling us we were not to like X, not to associate with Y, not to deal with Z, we would not see "Others" as, they are different therefore we must kill them, we would not be uncooperative in sharing what we have and learning that which we lack. What would the world be like with One Voice for Good, different I would guess. And no I am not talking of One World Govt'. Edited November 18, 2024 by Raven 54
RedHeadAngel Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Someone was trying to say that this picture is Titanic leaving Southampton for her maiden voyage.  Spoiler  Tell me if you can see what's wrong with that claim.

To answer your implied question, "What about the photo shows that the claim is incorrect?" I have no idea. It could be one of several things. It could be that the ship depicted is not the Titanic. It could be that the location is not Southampton. It could be that the photo was taken days before it actually left, so the photo does not depict part of the ship's "maiden voyage."

Or, "I have no idea" is also an acceptable answer.
