No. I was talking about the people who were arguing about onions or whatever that was.

I know that, but as they say "A clever phrase carries the day" (or words to that effect).

So, I love sour stuff. However, I have a habit of eating too much of it. I have a bag of Warheads on my desk, and I'll just eat them like they're M&Ms. The problem with doing this is that what makes sour stuff sour is the acids. In other words, you're basically dissolving the inside of your mouth. Right now, I taste nothing but blood.

> "Love and Marriage" is the shallowest, stupidest, meaningless, and chauvinistic series ever. Nobody in our family likes to watch it except Antonio, and it didn't reach many people in our country who enjoy it also.

Wait, Paul won?  What a letdown.  Good thing I didn't waste time in trying to watch the fight.

Yup. It was barely even a fight. Tyson walked out with a knee brace and barely threw any punches, and Paul just started bowing to Tyson once it became clear that the fight was over.

Taylor vs Serrano was fucking nuts though! A rematch between two up-and-coming rivals that each have something to prove. Way better fight than the overhyped bullshit that followed.

Damn shame.  Well Mike, it's time to hang up your gloves for good, then.  I'll check out Taylor VS. Serrano later.  It sounds like quite the catfight.

I'd bet money that crap is staged.

That's very possible.  If that's the case, in a way, it would be a "passing of the torch"... so to speak.

The last match I watched between Jake Paul and another professional boxer I was not impressed. Like every other punch they were hugging. Maybe wait till after the fight to kiss and make up geez🙄

I would have thought of something original but I’m a firm believer in recycling.

A buddy of mine is convinced all big time boxing matches are fixed. Haven't got his opinion on UFC matches. And an acquaintance of that buddy thinks the entire NFL season is planned out.

I'm not sure about that. It's more like, "All for the money."

This is just one of those reasons why people say that money is the root of all evil.  But unfortunately, it's also a means of survival.

I don't think it's the root of all evil. I think it's the root of all inconvenience.

Which is funny since money was originally supposed to be a more convenient version of the barter system.

And it is. We couldn't have a modern economic system without money.

Ironic, isn't it?

In my experience it is humans that fuck things up not systems. Then again one cannot expect a monkey to write Shakespeare either.

In your experience? In everyone's experience. Systems do only what humans designed them to do.

Maybe not. However, we can expect them not to make life miserable for others.
