Flying a tad low I would have thought. How do we know the drone is Russian? The article says the hit almost takes down the drone which it doesn't.

Never believe anything from the UK's right-wing press.

Damned fine shot by the bloke in the boat though.

That source was the easiest one to pick (i.e. first in search).   As you said, it was an impressive throw.

A lot of D&D groups have these cute group names. Names like The Unexpectables, Communist Cultists and The Unmentionables. I actually made the last one up.

Depending on the type of game I'm running, I'll refer to my players as either "the heroes" or "the victims."

The Unmentionables

Reminds me of a scene in one of the Dsicworld books. A group of city guards have been tasked with killing a dragon that keeps attacking the city.

One says "My dad always said that no matter who or what they are if you hit 'em in the unmentionables they will go down".

One of the others asks "What are the unmentionables?"

Answer: "I don't know he didn't say".

> It is a kind of natural thing that some men do not have developed highly hygienic habits. I do not approve of it, but I can understand it. But when women have low or no hygienic habits, I do not approve of it and can't accept it. My Prince told me that although they were poor, none of them ever stunk on sweat. Even his sister who was handicapped often took a shower, especially during the summer. That's why nobody has an excuse for stinking hard like a corpse.:classic_angry:

Wasn’t there a quote in one of the Terry Pratchett books where he mentions that children love stories with bloodshed despite parents not wanting them to read it? Especially the bloodshed of people who deserve it.

Quite probably. Brilliant author and all round top bloke.

“Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.”

“In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.”
― Terry Pratchett, Lords and Ladies

“Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.”
― Terry Pratchett, Jingo

Pratchett's book often feature philosophy. I love the metaphysics of this one.

“Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.”
― Terry Pratchett, Reaper Man

In this post, I do not advertise any religion. It is simply a post about one expression that I found weird in the Bible, and then here, on LL in the form of a mod.

> I found a "weird" expression in the Bible, the gospel of Luke, 7th chapter: "public sinner"). English translation calls Maria from Magdalene simply a "sinner".  I asked my Prince if he knew what would "public sinner" might mean. He first laughed saying: "I didn't know there were public sinners. That presumes there were also secret sinners, which is silly. Hahaha ... I think, our translators described Maria from Magdalene as a public sinner since prostitution was a public sin-activity among religious sects of that time." He confirmed that English translations have no such expression as "public sinner". Make sense.

The game Poetry for Neanderthals is basically legalized torture. You aren't allowed to use anything longer than one syllable yet the word syllable has more than one syllable. Oh the irony!

Do thongs make you run faster than briefs and does no underwear make you run the fastest? Runners want to know. Does less friction mean better results?

I was on the track team in high school, and all of our uniforms were skintight and breathable. This was to increase aerodynamics and comfort during our races. While I never paid much attention to how bouncy everyone's bits and tits were during runs, I can say from personal experience that the lack of noticeable genital bouncing during my own races was always a plus. And no, I never had an issue with chafing.

So, I'd say that as long as your undies can secure and contain your naughty bits properly without much bounce, you can wear pretty much whatever you want.

I mostly meant it as a dumb joke but yeah I can imagine tight clothing keeping the jiggly bits under control.

Oh right. Not that kind of control🤪
