Bad Dog Posted February 21, 2021 Author Posted February 21, 2021 Straightforward, not easy. I put a description of how to do it in one of the docs on Nexus. You actually don't *have* to run the furrifier, but the results are better if you do (you get furry face patterns and fur colors). 1
MadMansGun Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 i just drag & drop the npc face data into other esps to "patch" them. Â edit: but it looks like your dealing with new npcs here so i guess that won't work....never mind.
poblivion Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 It's not easy at all, it still reported me an error that the mtefunctions.pas file could not be found. When I solved it, it worked, but there are some error again.

Untested and some of the NPCs have FoxRace as their race (no, this is not YA breton, it's the vanilla critter) but still are set up like humanoid NPCs so I have no idea what's that about or if they are just unused.  Very much untested though.  10 hours ago, 27X said: BOOOO. I'll test now  I'd rather stay with texture editing (this can do it quite well) ?   Â
Bad Dog Posted February 22, 2021 Author Posted February 22, 2021 Thanks for that. Â NPCs based on templates are often given FoxRace as their race, with the intention that it be overridden by the template (which is often a leveled char, IIRC). Â ^^ @ASlySpyDuo
agentmlp412 Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Can't equip the dragon priest mask morokei is this normal?
wardrake Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Love the mod really enjoy it?, it hurts me alot running it though. Some help is needed, I have problems running this lately. I either freeze at about twenty mins or so of play, crash to desktop, or get infinite load screen. (Load screen comes from when I enter a main hold like whiterun) or if I get in any building). Not sure if this might be cause my PC is unable to handle this anymore or I need to make ajustments. It shows on your main page YA is a script heavy mod with sos and Digi. Where do I find that ini settings, maybe that might help my issue.
Bad Dog Posted March 2, 2021 Author Posted March 2, 2021 The ini settings are right there, behind the spoiler. Â It's not just script-heavy, there are a lot of textures to load too. Go find generic instructions on how to stabilize your game. The "STEP" project can be a lot of help.

ASlySpyDuo Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 The static vampire thralls in Volkihar castle have old texture paths so they are missing everything except diffuses. Here's fixed meshes for your convenience, just overwrite the current ones. Fixed DLC01 Thralls.7z

The following ini settings may make your installation more stable:   Hide contents [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=1.6 fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.6 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=1000.0 bEnableLogging=0 bEnableTrace=0 bLoadDebugInformation=0 iMaxMemoryPageSize=8192 iMinMemoryPageSize=256 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=8388608  I should have been a tad more specific in were I was asking about it. So is this Something in the game folder (Data Skyrim) or something in game that needs to be adjusted (under the ~ key).Â

This tweak should increase stability, and needs to be added to the Skyrim.ini file under the [Papyrus] section. Your Skyrim.ini can be found in "My Documents\My Games\Skyrim"  [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=1.6 fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.6 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=1000.0 bEnableLogging=0 bEnableTrace=0 bLoadDebugInformation=0 iMaxMemoryPageSize=8192 iMinMemoryPageSize=256 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=153600  note1: there is some debate on the last 3, it has been suggested that they should just be deleted from (or never entered into) the Skyrim.ini https://www.loverslab.com/topic/56084-crash-fixes/  note2: you should only have logging turned on (bEnableLogging=1) if you are actively trying to find a problem, the rest of the time it's just a drain on system resources and it can cause extra stress for the papyrus system, therefor if you have it on all the time it can potentially become a part of the problem your trying to fix. it only logs the scripts anyways so if you have a problem like a deleted world object or a bad navmesh the log won't say anything helpfull, you should be doing this if you have such a problem: http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=TES5Edit_Mod_Cleaning_Tutorial http://wiki.step-project.com/TES5Edit/TES5Edit_Cleaning_Instructions  Â
Platinum9732 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 I'm using the Amazon's of Skyrim mod. They have floating fangs when I combine it with YA. Will there be a patch in the future, or is there already a way I can fix that? I tried fiddling with the load order but it didn't seem to help. Â Thanks ^^"
zapdragon Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 @Bad Dog Is there any chance of getting the canine races (besides Lykaios, of course) released into their own separate mod like the rest of the races?
Bad Dog Posted March 13, 2021 Author Posted March 13, 2021 Yes, maybe, sometime. Right now FO4 is the priority.

samuecaalves Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 i assume this cannot be used with Furry Age of Skyrim, yes?  also if you install the mod, make a new game, play the mod in the new game, unnistall the mod, and then return to a previous save file, would it be possible to play the game normally after unnistalling the mod?i assume that would be the case, as it seems to be with FAS, but maybe this mod is more intricate due to being bigger. also, when you say you cant unnistall because the impact would be too high, are you talking about the impact on the game´s installation or on the save file?
Bad Dog Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 1. Not sure what "Furry Age" you're referring to. You mean that thing thrown together by the person calling itself Bad Pup over on Nexus? Yeah, don't try to use them together. Because they're the same. Â 2. I just don't know what will happen if you try to uninstall. The furry assets are just nifs and textures so they'll probably be fine, unless the engine does something about caching head parts in the save game. The digitigrade script has to be triggered. Same with the schlong script so they'll probably be fine. I'm just not making any guarantees. With MO, you can try it and see, then go back if it doesn't work.

Bad Dog Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 If so that's the older mod YA took inspiration from so there's no point to using them together.Â
