I don't mean to spam the thread, but I'm at a complete loss now.

 

Stripping my modlist down to what is just the core mods and nothing more, I'm still having the same issue of the sheathing schlongs not working properly.

With such a basic modlist, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I updated XPMSE and Race Compatibility to the latest versions and still nothing.

 

I think Skyrim just hates me at this point.

10.3 fixes the dirty schlongs problem. Also adds the fixes for stripping and erections. Post any problems, cuz this is the latest.

 

@Ryokentaru I'm a little suspicious of your load order because SchlongsOfSkyrim.esp follows BadDogSchlongCore.esp, and they should be in the other order. Not using LOOT? 

 

Regardless, this should work. If it doesn't post a log taken while you're doing the thing that doesn't work.

I don't use LOOT because I don't feel like creating hundreds of rules so that it sorts mods from LL properly. That said I probably should have mentioned that I've tried putting BadDogSchlongCore.esp both near the top and the bottom of the list, that just happens to be where I left it last.

 

Looking through the Papyrus log, it looks like the script isn't even doing anything. The only time I can even get [BDSOS] to show up is either start an animation (which properly forces the erect mesh) use the erection spell (which properly forces the erect mesh, although it will never change back) or change from one schlong to another.

The BDSchlongCore.esp plugin is at the bottom of the load order for this log.

 

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but it seems like the script is there, just that it's not interacting with SLA at all. I use the Redux version of the mod if that makes any difference.

So, bugger. The code to re-register for SLA events on game load is borked. Grrr, dunno why this is so hard to get right. Not sure why the current code is working for SL but not SLA, but whatevs.

 

Try the attached, should fix this problem.

Okay so I kinda figured things out.

 

Bad Dog, I have to hand it to you and thank you for all your hard work. The new script does indeed seem to properly register for events on every load. That being said, it SEEMED like things still weren't working for me. But then, I had an idea.

 

See, what I've been doing is trying to force the schlongs to change states by using the notification hotkey in SLA. With SOS integration enabled, this will immediately updates an SOS schlong to the current erection state. With previous versions of the mod, this also caused the meshes to swap out to the proper state in tandem. I'm not sure what event the new script looks for, but while it does work, it ONLY works during SLA's automatic scan. Setting it to the lowest possible setting (15 seconds) and waiting caused the meshes to change out properly according to arousal level whenever SLA did another scan, so cool, it works.

 

However, there are two problems with this. The obvious one is that you can no longer update arousal manually using the hotkey (at least not "properly") and I assume this is true for trying to use it on NPC's as well. This could be a bit detrimental for people who already have a high script load, and don't want to set SLA's scan frequency to something extremely low. The slightly bigger issue (in my opinion) is that the erection slider in RaceMenu is no longer capable of forcing the meshes to swap out either. So to properly customize your character's dick you have to force an erection via some other method first, and then open RaceMenu and work from there. Not the end of the world, but something that was a non-issue before.

 

But, in the end, it does work. Unless the missing functionality I mentioned is supposed to be there, in which case it still needs work, but I don't know enough about scripting to tell if that's the case.

That sounds right. SLA doesn't send an event with the notification hotkey. I test by dropping the scan frequency to the minimum, but I wouldn't run the game that way.

 

I'm not inclined to treat this as a problem. The primary way to set your schlong angle, if that's all you're doing, is the SOS hotkeys, I think. Setting arousal works, it just takes a minute or so to be reflected in the dick. Do people really use the erection slider in RM? What does it even do? And does it stick after you leave RM? Anyway, I have no idea how to tie into that. 

 

So use the erection keys to diddle your dingus, and other than that let it take care of itself.

I love the mod and all the extras but can't seem to get the HDT Tails to work. I have it at the very end of my load order, but with it I get a CTD when I load my lastest save. HDT in general seems to be working; it's installed and used by SoS too.

I saw that the HDT Tails file has version 8 though, and I have version 10.3 of YA installed; could this be the problem, are they incompatible? Or should I look somewhere else?

I also have CBPC installed for the CBBE 3BBB body, may this causes a conflict?

Would be kind of a moot point anyway due to the edited head meshes and paws from YA, which no other texture replacer out there is compatible with.
