Visual things like that caused by not using bodyslide just right, will need you to visually check. But that will not require starting a new game you can re-do bodyslide stuff anytime, so long as you are not removing/adding mods mid-playthrough.

Your issues have nothing to do with my mod. They are required mods and I'm trying to help but you need to help yourself too.

 

Maybe you are not understanding my reply. You dont need to play 2hrs to find out if you installed it right. Use the test.

 

All I was saying is the visual bodyslide stuff can be adjusted anytime, without starting over, so it does not matter if you find out 2hrs, or 2 days into playing... fix it mid-playthrough since in the case of bodyslide you wont be adding or removing mods and this is fine.

I'm really enjoying the mod so far, Good Job! But I'm having some issues with the skeleton. I understand the animations, skeleton, and such are not yours, but I was wondering if you had seen this before or could point me in the right direction.

Needless to say it's kind of disturbing. It also seems to be at the same angle upward each time. The problem also happens when sitting but I don't have any screenshots. The issue disappears and everything is normal when walking around and swinging weapons. I know Devious Mods like to conflict with each other so I've tried to limit the mods to only the requirements, didn't entirely work out.

 

I am NOT running Skyrim SE. I am using Mod Organizer 2.

HDT Physics Extensions is missing. Since its missing I'm guessing you might not have used an HDT body before so also take a close look at my FAQ #11 on using bodyslide.

I do actually have it installed, but looking into the file there doesn't seem to be an .esp associated with it (which is why it didn't show up in the load order).

Ya sorry I knew that from before. I've never seen this before. I dont know how to help other than....

 

1. Ensure you don't have a corrupt save by confirming the problem exists if you start a brand new game

2. Go for a truly minimum requirements test, pruning your mods down to only those absolutely needed, then when its working start adding back till you find where you go wrong

 

For these tests you can use my mod's MCM option, last tab, "Skip Story" so you are immediately ready to go with more things in play to test with. Not a recommended way to use the mod if you have not played it before, so just for testing.

I forgot how annoying playing the default intro is.

 

I think the problem file was Deadly Mutilation — either the main file or the CBBE patch/option. Probably because it was conflicting with either TBBP or HDT PE for control of the breast and stomach nodes. Either way Deadly Mutilation was taken out and it works fine now.

Hello. I'm Having a problem with this mod. I have Nocturnal appearing after shouts, but I disable her appearances.  I Made sure that the appearances where turned off in the MCM   If anybody knows how to fix this please help me.

There's several settings in that section of MCM. The "Nocturnal as a Follower mode" means "appear each shout". If you turn that off, she will still appear, but less and randomly, depending on the other settings in that section. Read the tool tips.

 

If you need more help than this, show me a screen shot of your settings.

I've been playing with this mod befor and thought I would take it up again. I started a completely new game with Shout Like a Virgin activated.

However, the Wall Love animation won't start so I can´t learn new shouts.

Any Ideas?

EDIT: If you are trying to learn the word in Nocturnal's dungeon, make sure you have reached a quest objective that tells you to do it, otherwise you can't learn it yet, and that would be normal.

 

Otherwise, something is not installed correctly, see Troubleshooting #3. Also make sure you are not breaking the "golden rule" (see on same link above).

 

If you still need help, show me your papyrus log (how to in FAQs).

It´s a new game, no mods changed since start. I've run LOOT an FNIS. The built in animation test runs fine. I have not yet shouted to meet the messanger. The first word wall i have encountered is the one where you get sent to retrieve the claw in the beginning of the game. When I get closer to the wall the chanting sound increases as normal but noth happens when i get close. The animation doesn't start and I dont learn the word.

The install steps, Troubleshooting section and FAQs are all the result of updating and fine tuning over 2 years. It's not going to get any better than that, so far as THIS mod goes.

 

Your problem, is other supporting mods, and no I'm not going to make guides to those. Bodyslide, for example, already has loads of help for it out there.

I'm having a rather odd crash a "few" hours in. I'm at the point where I need to pray at the Shrine of Azura, but i've already completed the Black Star quest. If i worship the Shrine, my game crashes when the Virgin Training quest updates to worship the statue. If i enter nocturnal's realm by another shrine, the quest doesn't update (as intended), but there is no crash. What should I do to troubleshoot this?

This is a first for someone having that problem, so not a problem with the mod itself. Only 2 things I think it could be..

1. Something that supports animations has changed/not installed correctly. See Troubleshooting #3. This focuses on the worshiping animation that occurs rather than the teleportation.
2. Your save is corrupt. See "golden rule". This would more likely relate to the teleportation which for skyrim in general, is susceptible to CTD on corrupt saves.

If you still need help after looking at these, show me your papyrus log (how to in my FAQs).

Well, I didn't try changing anything until *after* I started having CTDs. My skyrim installation was mostly stable for 50 hours on this save... But now in attempt to fix this issue, I sorted my load order through LOOT which breaks the golden rule. Which means that to get you a non-borked save, I'd have to recreate what my prior loot order looked like... Wonder if TES5Edit's save tool shows load order, i know it shows masters. Then I could go back to a save I think is stable, and see if i can progress to that point.

Coincidentally, I was having rampant crashing and save bloat around this many hours in, prior to me going back to the last stable save. I haven't touched any mods outside of ENB since starting this save, so kinda annoyed at having to keep reverting to older saves, but I really don't know what's up at this point.

EDIT: I'll ask for help if the reverted save keeps crashing. Something about the ENB i was using was causing freaking CTD errors caught by Crash Fixes, so i had to troubleshoot that. I've never gotten more than 40 hours into a skyrim save before, due to constantly creating new saves every time I change a mod. So didn't want to touch it, and now between trying to fix the ENB and now the teleport CTD glitch, i broke the "good enough".
