I've used this mod nearly months ago. Loves this mod anyway but i wanted to use this mod without doing any quest because it sometimes becomes annoying when you travel and got attacked but you're bounded. My question is, can i use this mod without the quest? i just want the animation for standing stone love, shout wall love, and any other animation without the quest.

Almost everything can be turned off in MCM. Chance sliders, for example can be set to 0. Read the tool tips.

 

If you dont want the quests to start at all, and you are starting a new game, there's the "story start on hold" option on the last tab. You will get standing stone and word walls, but be missing many other animations if you use that method.

If you are using a preset from Race Menu made in a previous game, sometimes that can be corrupted I have found, the easy fix is to start a clean game, load the suspected preset, move around a little in game, go back into Race menu change some very minor things and then save the New preset (be sure to title the preset). quit game go to I think it was SKSE and the presets, find the suspected corrupted .json file (preset) and delete it.

 

Only a suggestion, as I have found in 1 or 2 instances that this was the case and it was fixed.

 

Please note though both times only once was during a run with Shout, the common denominator with both though was DD and Zap. The machine you use for that quest I think comes from Zap (although I think DD also has it and originally it was Heretical) sometimes in Mods that use these assets, it is from the supplier that there is a problem, which is often competing assets for the same function.

This mod from what I seen has the most detail for how to install. It has been the biggest help with learning how to install mod for skyrim. while devious devices has little for work with. I been trying for awhile now and can't get things to work right. Most of the devices just make that part disappear. So far all the nipple clamps. restrictive boots (boot that have the ballet effect works right), none of the arm or leg cuff, corset and so on. while some thing work. all plugs work, body suit like the zipper one work. I'm thing is has to do with "Make sure you've also built devices for Devious Devices" but I don't understand what is meant by that. any help would be much appreciated.

 

MCM shows this mod installed correctly and the ZAZ test works too. I done the update for FNIS.

Sounds like you have not built in bodyslide, or are not doing so correctly. See FAQ 11

Btw. if you're looking for nice outfits for a future update you might have a look at these:

Scroll down to the second page, the first only contains 7b conversions. Second page contains his own stuff which is for UUNP/CBBE bodyslide and awesome.

 

*edit: and i've asked if he'd be fine if other LL mods include a few of his outfits and "sure thing" was the answer, didn't ask for SLAV especially but i assume the answer would be the same.

Yes I was actually already looking before. I look for things that could become a "device". Like this one feels a bit like a "harness" to me, If I modify it a bit, or a harness and a chastity belt...

 

 

That is the only one that is a fit I think but I have not looked carefully. Did anything else strike you as a virgin device?

There are one or two things that could serve as a catsuit.

Superbody suit with a couple of different versions.

 

And this looks really intresting, a bit like aradias tentacle armor but completly black.

Again, different versions, covering more and more. I could imagine that as part of a new questline... be it a reward from Nocturnal, or a curse? Maybe a punishment for meeting Dibella?  Or a reason to meet her and get rid of it?

Did I miss the point of the mod or.. ? After shouting there's the NPC - Cassia which follows me around. She says she's from Dibellian shrine or something. It's all fine in itself but then there's only one way events can unfold (and that's a kinky one). Is there a way to proceed with a choice? I.e. staying innocent or not? Because in the mod description it says you can chose your path.

You have the choice of losing or not losing your virginity. Once you've had your first meeting with Nocturnal, she gives you the means to prevent lost virginity, and will eventually give you a rebirth to regain it if you lose it.

 

Cassia should not be following you around.

1. She gives you a letter after asking for "relief". Did you receive that letter and read it?
2. Do you have the quest Dare to Shout like a Virgin. If yes what is the current objective?
3. Have you had the first meeting with Nocturnal?

Yes, yes, everything is correct. Mod is working fine, Cassia was only following me around because I tried to escape her (I thought that her appearance was a bug because of an unconditional outcome of that meeting)

The main story will not start unless you first meet Cassia, which then leads to meeting Nocturnal. You are not making any choices here, you have none.

 

The "love" with Cassia does not guarantee virginity loss. It would have to be "vaginal" and since its random there is a good chance its not. Or you could be wearing a chastity belt from another mod. But if you DO lose you virginity that's fine. Let the story unfold for you and you will find out.

Thanks, I get it! I was just a bit confused about meeting with her and the way it goes. So the choice is made after that, so I make a savegame right there to try both paths.

So with your tip I was able to sort of "retain" the virginity for the character: it's possible that the animation selected will be something very mild (like massage or something). In this way it's not breaking immersion (at least for me).

 

Anyways - I tried different things and god must I say - It works. It simply does. Even in some extreme conditions (unintended, but still - like when shooting a statue thief from a huge cliff and then the animation scene kicks in and the mod somehow manages to handle it properly). I guess times when I CTD-d every 20 mins are long gone ? Exceptional work.

I hate to bother you, but I was having trouble with the training mission. I couldn't figure out how to leave Nocturn's area, and I was wandering around clueless for like 5 hours before giving up. Can anyone tell me how to leave the area so I can proceed?

Christmas is here! Enable the Holiday Hat in MCM Misc Tab

When the Holiday Hat is worn, your 2nd word Thu'um of Strip will give stripped victims the same hat. Disable the option and the shout will remove the Hat. No upgrade required to use this feature.
