A Rubber Facility (old version)

Nothing. You can go look around if you wish. The mod was abandoned in a very early state of development so there is no content to see apart from the location itself and short dialogue with the warden.

    I don't know and I don't care because apparently it's just as bad as Nexus Mod Manager

Manual:
    You really shouldn't, but just paste the contents of the Data folder inside the Data folder of your skyrim install

 

If any of this doesn't sound familiar to you then you should first read/watch some guides on how to get started with modding, and use Mod Organizer, it's not as complex as the community makes it sound, and will save you a ton of hassle


But allow me to ask, why install a mod with nearly no content?

It really is quite depressing, to be honest. First that one rubberdoll TF thing (the one with the inflatable limbs and all) was getting everyone excited, but constant progress requests (at least I'd assume that is the reason) from awaiting fans lead the modder to just abandon everything and delete the thread. Then this is abandoned as well.

It all is a huge shame. The foundation for this all is *amazing*, but it's sad to see all these great projects never come into fruition.

Still sad/salty about that rubberdoll TF mod never getting released. I don't even have the screenshots available anymore.

Hey,
I've been in contact with Farmthat, and he has permitted me to continue the mod.  I already have some ideas and would be interested in hearing your opinions about it.  

 

I will keep most of the Prison maybe change and or add some new stuff.

I want to make it a little more secure and a place people could "live" in. Im already working on that. 

 

Here my current plan: 

  • Build / Change the Prison
  • Redo the intro quest 
  • Add the Prison tour

Then I will make a release. After that, this mod is going to require Devious Devices

Here are the Paths the player can take in the Prison. 

 

  • Test subject
  • Worker / Guard
  • Prisoner / Patient / Client

I grouped some paths together, but I want the main three to be different from one another. 

 

That's all I have planned for now. 
Im open to suggestions, especially for the Test subject path, as I want this one to be the main one.

Once I released a new version, ill look into making an SSE Conversion.

Hey, 
It's only been about a week, but I already have some news to share with you. Let's start with some good news.

The prison redesign is done, at least for now. I added more cells, made the prison inescapable, at least if you don't use the console, and changed some areas. For example, the Entrance got an Overhaul.

Don't worry, except for the Entrance. You won't find any males in the Prison.

 

So here a small list of what's done and what still needs doing.  

Done: 

  • Prison redesign
  • Remade the Intro Quest
  • Wrote Dialogue for the Tour
  • Redid the NavMesh 

Todo: 

 

  • Make Tour Scene
  • Make first Quest (Idea from Framthat)
  • Write some more Dialogue     (50% Done) 
  • Add some Clutter 
  • Make some more Faces for the new NPCs 

 

I think I'll be able to release a Beta version before the Year ends. 
In addition to Dragonborn, you will also need Hearthfire to play the new Version.

 

 

Now for some Bad news. I love the Meshes Farmthat made the Pedestal especially.

But there are no animations for it, meaning I cant use it as a Chair and put the player in it. I have some ideas on how to get around this, but I can't make any promises. 

 

Anyway, that's all I have for now. Let me know what you think.

Looks great, good to see this being resurrected and thumbs up for picking this up!

 

I know the meshes look great but in the absence of animations maybe just keep them for scenery and potentially use some of the lesser known/used zap library instead?

I thought about that too. There is some really awesome Furniture in ZaZ 8+ I would love to use.

They could be retextured into a more facility-like look too.

 

Also possibly maybe some Zaz animation of a furniture fits those chairs missing the animation

Hey, 
I have a small request can someone install the original mod and test something for me? 
The Guards usually wear this Catsuit:

However, since I started work on the mod, I have this issue where the texture would disappear, and im left with this.

Sometimes im able to "fix" this by changing the Cell but not always.
I just want to see if someone can replicate this or if it's something I messed up. This happens to me almost immediately, even with a new save. If it doesn't happen to you the first time, try entering and leaving the Prison a few times and make and load a few Quicksaves. 
It would really help immensely if someone could test this for me.

I haven't yet tested the mod, but how about trying to create a separate catsuit mesh with those guard textures on it through nifskope, and then replace the meshes in the CK with the ones you created.

 

I've found similar problems elsewhere, and fixed it by making a separate mesh from the original with the custom textures, so I'm sure it will help, if only a little bit.

 

Anyway, from what I've read so far, this mod is coming along well.
