I've seen a lot of mods here.  Necrophilia mods.  Incest mods.  Mods about hardcore rape and murder as a fetish.  Even mods that set out solely to sexualize children.  Some of these I have issues with morally, others I find just outright deplorable, but none have ever elicited a real, physical reaction of any kind.

 

Except one.

 

At some point a request thread was started.  It read, as I recall, "Chunky Period Dinners".  I can't find it on a cursory search so it may have been deleted or is simply buried deeper than I looked.

 

Never before or since has a thread title alone made my physically nauseous.

I remember that one. It was indeed quite nauseating.  [idea] Chunky periods dinners in skyrim???

 

Although if we allow request threads for purposes of this discussion my hands-down favorite will always be [Request] Fart slave Mode (sic).

It takes a lot of offend me.  In fact, so far nothing has set me off here.  Yeah, I don't go in for pedo crap.  I just move on tho, I don't get all bent out of shape about it tho.

Hentai tentacle raping weirdo stuff is about the closest that will turn me off, but that's about it, but even then, I tolerate it.

HOWEVER...the Period dinner thing probably would have given me pause.

This post makes me question when that part of my humanity died, I came here looking for new material.

 

I came here for the same reason, but even after reading the thread I feel my humanity is intact.  I didn't go looking for those mods, wasn't interested in them and likely won't even remember them in another hour. 

I consider myself something of a degenerate, up to a point, so if I justify my own predilections how can I condemn those of others?  Just don't make me look at it and I won't care.

Nothing so far. Fart fetish and eating "chunky periods" is not my kink, but it doesn't make me sick or anything like that. I would gladly try out mods like that just for shits and giggles. I would make my character look like the jarl of Whiterun and run around the streets begging everyone to fart in my face or let me lick their period blood.

"I'm the jarl of Whiterun, bitch! Fart in my face!". Childish, I know. Sorry for that.

I didn't find anything that was my kind of kink either. I'm not ashamed about being a devient either. It was more of a comment on how far from baseline I am if loverslab's standard fare just doesn't go far enough lol. 

 

I guess you really don't lose your humanity until the boundary of fantasy/reality breaks down.

I wouldn't go as far to call myself a degenerate for such things not affecting me. I consider myself a libertine. Besides that,it is all just videogames. I can tolerate quite a bit in reality as it is as long as no one is hurt by it (hurt feelings don't count as far as I am concerned) so with videogames, anything goes.

Unlike most I'll admit my 'deviance level' is only mild, yet my 'Gameplay-X' category in MO is probably the largest single category I have; about 10%+ of the ~700ish mods listed and I use 'adult' mods in every profile. 

 

Things I enjoy: 

  • obviously the human body (female)
  • sex
  • bathing/peeing (no fetish, I just really enjoy realism/immersion)
  • pregnancy
  • bondage
  • prostitution
  • rape
  • slavery 

 

Subjects that go too far for me &/or turn my stomach:

  • bestiality
  • chicks with dicks
  • incest
  • I don't want to peek into the Vore thread, as I have an idea what it is
  • gay (M-M, yet I'm fine with F-F)
  • 12 year old faces on a Kim Kardashian body
  • even 'extreme proportions', I'm like "Why?"  Sexy?  No.  More like amusing, laughable.

So, yeah, like half of LL is off limits for me.  But to each his/her own.

I personally have no problem with any of those "shock" mods and actually the weirder the better as this is the virtual world to do anything I would not do in RL. 

The most disturbing thing in Skyrim is not added by any mod, but is part of the vanilla concept - the soul gems and the idea of destroying a person's soul only to get some small bonus that for the most part you don't need anyway. Destroying a person's soul...

Maybe some nord bandit was a brave warrior and has his place reserved in  Sovngarde, but here comes the Dragonborn and says - Nope, I need some protection from the cold because I'm  a fragile thing and I get sick and start sneezing...

The soul destroying thingy is the most "OMG NO" part that can ever exist in the game, mods or not.

We all have different ideas of what makes something weird or strange and whether or not a specific kind of bizarre content is a good thing or obscene to one's sensibilities.

Those who don't use any of the erotically themed mods on this site for their presumed intended purpose but for the purposes of a form of art appreciation might be considered truly peculiar among those who do use them 'correctly' (well,in the case of mods that aren't complete gags),for example.

 

What about TrainWiz' mods or AetherSuite or anything else that changes Skyrim's genre to Steam Punk or Science Fantasy?

What about mods that make it ultra violent? What about mods that combine sex and violence?

Hmm, Internet is not quite sure about this :-)

 

What I could peace together from all I read on forums and learned is the game is this. 

When you trap a soul it is sent to Soul Cairn. But when you use the gem to enchant something the soul disintegrates and it's energy is used to power the enchantment.

Then it slowly wears out ...

 

 

Thee are some ideas that actually while trapped the souls live in the gem itself. And only when used they go to Soul Cairn. For me (from purely scientific point of view :)) it makes no sense. The one mod that tops my list of being a little crazy, was lovers Nitche for oblivion.  Basically it was "trainning" to make a npc nipples bigger.  If you played as a male, it would go in the direction where the player could have sex with the nipple area instead of the other conventional way.  If you played as a female, well the nipple became big enough to use as .....well ok I guess you get the idea.  As you can guess this was a Japanese mod.  It was the first time I really was exposed to this fetish, but now if you are into any kind of Hentia porn, you see it quite frequently.

Well what i find a lot more weird, is when people use a texture that makes their character faces look like 40-50+ years old (with the body measures of an 18 year old) and then put on a few inches of eyeshadow and lipstick to bring them back into the 20-30 range.

 

Taking into account that the majority of females on this planet spends their entire pre-menopausal adult life trying to look as young & flawless like when they were 12 years old, i'm not sure if calling those young looking Skyrim characters weird and perverted can be justified by anything other than hypocrisy.

 

If there are any doubts about this statement, prove me wrong by showing that the entire beauty cosmetics and plastic surgery industry doesn't exist.

 

 

I don't approve this thread, it's whole purpose is pointing fingers and making fun of people.
