You mean the msg. that says all my piercings have healed , now I can wear all sorts of stuff? That one?  The one that repeats every 5 minutes or so? Or is it a new msg.?

That's the one. Near as I can tell, the base yps mod and the Dibella Quest draw their messages from the same file. In the base mod your PC can wear any earrings once the piercing has healed, but not in the Dibella Quest. Emily probably has a fix on her (ever-expanding) to-do list.

They should be wearable with long nails, if you flag them as "fingerless", and use long nails not occupying the hand slot.

Understandable, just annoying that they aren't routinely put in slot 34 - Forearms by the mod makers. I know I should be able to go into SSEEdit and change the slot assignment, then change it in NifSkope but, since I can't for the life of me get NifSkope downloaded from its website, I'm kinda out of luck.

Yeah, I used to be able to wear the ear rings from ZAZ., but now only the starter studs. Errrr.. not me but my character  😁

You mean that you haven't gotten Corpulus to pierce your ears? Tsk, tsk Shame on you. :yum:

Seriously, how far along in the quest are you? The earring option doesn't open up until after the gender reassignment surgery has healed.

HUH? it's not the that quest, it is just the basic  wear  ear, tit, clit, piercings from the mod.

So you're playing the base mod. Not familiar with it, I only play the Dibella Quest.

Imagine all the features of the Dibella quest available immediately as if you'd just finished the quest. That's basically the base mod.

another feedback, i'm not sure if this is a yps thing or werewolf mod thing but yps considers werewolf feet to be high heels.

also hair updates should probably pause in werewolf form because it did one and then my Rapunzel braids popped out on top of my werewolf head lol.

additionally if you stumble while a werewolf you are stuck in a crouch permanently.

Seems that YPS high heels feature is not compatible with werewolfs.

No need to edit the mods. There are several good nail mods using other slots (Sha's, OGN, Divine Elegance).

Ironically, long long ago, the original intention of doing the Dibella quest was to make the fashion features available to male players.

I am not sure how my question morphed into the dibela quest, so I will ask again. My pc can not wear ear rings even though it has been months [ real months ] of having all the piercings done and healed. The game simply unequips every ear ring worn.

I've run into the same (or similar) problem in the past. It happened in my case because the earrings would unequip through interaction with other mods. In my case, the piercings were healed enough to allow for earrings other than the studs, but not permanently healed. So the piercings healed and sealed up, preventing the earrings from equipping at all. See if you can get your ears pierced afresh. That's all I've got. Good luck.

Hmm., I will try that and see if it works. BTW... are you able to remove the starter studs you get initially?

and thanks.

YW. Unfortunately, I simply don't remember the conditions prior to figuring out the PC's piercings had healed up. But I can say for sure that wearing earrings was made possible again by getting the piercings redone. After that, I was careful to make sure to keep them in until the piercings were healed. That resolved the issue for me, though I'm on a new playthrough now.

You should have Empty Piercing boxes in your Inventory. Click on them and leave Inventory screen. In game you will get a window with varios pierings to remove.

If you don't remove the studs you can't wear other earrings.

I'm having an issue with the heels training debuff.
I have it set pretty strong (125), but for some reason if I stand still then walk, the debuff won't apply for a second (i'll go full speed) and then suddenly slow down back to the debuffed speed. Not sure if it's intended but its super annoying and I'm not sure whats causing it.
(Edit) It also just seems to happen randomly?? Debuff will just disapear (maybe when a script event happens?) then a second or two later reapply.
The "Movement Speed penalty" active effect is disappearing when standing still, but "High Heel Novice stays".

Can't find anyone discussing it. Playing on AE, I dont have any mods that edit movement other than better jumping...

Someone else brought up this same issue a few months ago. I believe Emily explained that the issue is not something she can address as it's caused by restrictions in Skyrim's code.

I won't pretend I know how this mod is written, but in just my testing I found two other mods I had messing with movement speed in a similar manner.
Naked Dungeon's has a food/character weight mechanic that takes anywhere from 1-10% movement speed away based on how severely starved you are, and sexlab survival has a flat 50 decrease when barefoot.
Both seem stable together and quick to update when player status changes... Its unfortunate cause the constant random speed up and slow down makes the heels training feature unusable for me :/

Hi emily1673!
Thanks for your amazing mod!
Could you please disable annoying message boxes in file ypsPiercingTicker.psc they have appeared in the middle of action like battle, sexlab and etc.
1. Line 7766    Debug.Messagebox(messagetoshow)

2. Line 8626    Debug.Messagebox("For some reason ...

For version 6.9.1 I changed them to a call of shownotification().

It would be great to get an option to change the frequency of hair updates. Right now the only options are once every... 20 seconds?, or once a day. It'd be great to be able to set it to once every hour, 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours etc. Don't know if this is doable.

I've run into a problem where it seems the hair stopped updating on my character. I see the debug notification in console (and the regular notification), but the hair doesn't actually change, even restarting the game doesn't fix. I looked in Resaver, but there doesn't appear to be any hung scripts, so idk what is going on here. LMK if there's a log file or something I an provide.

That might be caused by a syntax error in the hair configuration file (YPS tries to apply a hair style, that actually is not properly configured). There are a few mistakes in the hair json files; please report them, whenever you find any.

It could also help to take a look in the mirror, or ask an YPS NPC to show you the piercing status.

Yes, there are some limitations. Speed debuffs are very tricky. The delay for the debuff speed has some reason (I think it was to prevent the much more serious bug where the PC can no longer move at all).

You should choose the values (like "125") so that they work best for you, which depends mostly on your general configuration, and not so much on intense the debuff should be. Settings values too high or too low can have reverse effects.

I will look into it. But the second one is appropriate, because it is caused by Bimbos not taking proper care of their nails.

Is there any chance of a toggle for the delay? I remember old versions where my character would occasionally be stuck but swapping to first person allowed me to move again. If that's the bug you're referencing I much preferred that method.
If not do you know what line(s) in the source code is/are responsible for the delay? I've been looking myself and I cant tell for sure. I've been looking in YpsHeelsTicker.psc

Edit, nvm found it in SSEedit, If anyone feels the same way I do just delete all the "isRunning" conditions from the heelsSpeedDebuff spells.
wish I realized it was there before getting all the source files to compile the script lol.

I did ask about the ear status, says studs with backing, but no way to remove  them.
