I have actually already thought about perfume, just causing a fashion level increase. You ideas are still better though. Who knows, maybe Lena, Urag and Ray have been tricking the PC all the time ? "Frequent hair check" means once per ticker interval, which can be set in MCM (standard is 8 secs, I think) Very interesting idea. As long as it is easy to implement, it is no problem. There is no need to visit the Bannered Mare. Sleeping in any bed should progress the quest at this stage. If it doesn't, the savegame is corrupt (or there is another problem with the installation somewhere). Ah ok wasn't sure thanks for the reply. I did manage to sort out the bannered mare issue it seemed to be due to another mod not sure which one but forgot to add that I had solved this. Sorry
KentuckyExpat Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Based on comments I have read here, my PC is at what is apparently a fairly early stage of the Dibella Quest. If it's not too much of a spoiler, how many book retrievals (he/she has done five so far) before Urag has the time to unlock the belt/bra? Or does he ever? A simple statement that he doesn't or a retrieval number will be sufficient, not looking for too much of a spoiler. Again based on comments, do I understand correctly that the gender change is incomplete, i.e. the male does not become a fully functional female? While I get frequent messages that "you are really proud of your long hair" and the mirror says that she(he) has long hair, in fact her hair is not quite shoulder length. A known bug or did I mess up the installation? Another question or perhaps a suggestion. Once my PC has completed Lena's request to get her some makeup she seems to forget who the PC is. If my PC encounters her while visiting the College, there is no interaction beyond what would be expected between the PC and a random NPC met anywhere. Given that she is partly responsible for my PC's awkward condition I would have thought that she might occasionally ask how things are going, is Urag going to unlock the belt/bra, etc.?

This, I think, would be nice, to have Lena somehow recognize the player, as, as you said, she is responsible for the whole transformation.
MellowDrama Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Hey, I'm having issues again. The makeup aplies just fine. Appears for about a second or two and disappears from the character, every single time for the eyeshadow and lipstick. Seems to be just a slavetats issue since YPS still thinks the makeup is on. The other thing is sometimes some slavetats tats just randomly disappear and reappear sometimes. It used to work just fine last week. The SKSE.ini overlays is basically at about 40 20 20 20 and there's still plenty of open overlay slots. I tried setting the YPS Slavetats timer to 10 (max). Anyone else had this issue? and how did you solve it?
KentuckyExpat Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Just spent the last two hours getting updated here in the comments section. I noticed a little discussion about name changing now being available late in the quest. Didn't know that the option was there so I changed his name when I recreated him as a woman in RaceMenu following the instructions given once eh donned the belt and bra. Not sure if what I did changed the PC's name everywhere but, when you enter RaceMenu to change your guy to a girl, the last thing you have to do is, of course, save the "new" PC. But the "Save" option is actually titled "Name and Save". Now the PC's original name will be in the box but there is no restriction on changing it there so you can (re)name your new character. Which I did. And the changed name appears everywhere you would expect it to appear, so Sir Gyllenwell is now Lady Gyllenwell. The change even shows in Vortex on the "Saved Games" tab. So there are Sir G saved games and Lady G saved games for the same profile.
wareware Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 For some reason the MCM options in the heels menu and the piercing menu stopped loading correctly for me on new games. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you're drunk or on the Skooma Whore drugs or lactacid when you're talking to the hairdresser, you get a random haircut haircolor. In the same vein as the trope of getting blackout drunk and waking up with a tramp stamp. 1

I thought you were recommending it as a universal fix for the problem that you believed everybody knew about and used despite the fact that I'd never heard of it before. I need to use it because I have more than 128 MCMs and disabling a bunch of useless ones is convenient. Found a workaround by disabling new game deployment and then enabling it after all MCMs are done loading.

True. But then take away the agency of asking for that option if you're drunk and just get it instead. Also idk but maybe the I'd like very much something in the MCM asking me if which Jsons of hair I'd prefer so it chooses randomly between all of a certain set. Cuz yeah random but I'd rather not have to look at the standard KShair when I got the SMP on every other npc.

Book retrieval for Urag is another quest, not related to YPS. Gender change is incomplete at this time, but might be complete in a later update (=optional quest branch). Shoulder hair is (I think) the minimum for "you are proud" message; I plan to revamp all messages once the main quest is done. Lena could have some more lines of conversation, but currently I spend my resources to finish the main quest line. 13 hours ago, KentuckyExpat said: Just spent the last two hours getting updated here in the comments section. MellowDrama Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Happy to serve. What are some of the other things on the list? if you wanna tell. Really curious.
KentuckyExpat Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 So I've reached the point where my PC has gone to see the Dibella priestess, she has explained to him that the next step he needs to take, since he is clearly interested in functioning as a woman (makeup, piercings, hair, dressing), is to have a vagina surgically added, his penis removed and become a "real" woman. This was rejected. The game then suggested that the PC engage in some "Girl Talk". After exchanging girl talk with a few Markarth residents, the game suggested that the PC go visit Ray, so he did. In past encounters with Ray, one of the dialog options is some variation of "Hi, there". While there is an arrow over Ray's head, the dialog options are vanilla, except for [try flirting] which he did, to no avail. Am I missing something here?

You need to keep flirting until it's successful a few times.
Hanzalot Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Hi, First off thanks for the great mod. I love mods like this that integrate into the general gameplay without overtaking it. I am currently trying to get phisics working with the hair styles and I am not sure if I am getting the configuration wrong or if the mods are not installed correctly. I am using SE and version 6.5.3.1 and I have KS Hairdos HDT SMP and Faster HDT-SMP installed. Two mod features that would really benefit someone like me if they were added (or if they are already there and someone could point me to them) are: - A debug feature to force set a hairstyle for testing - A setting or configuration/download option to only use HTD enabled hair for longer styles I have more things to try including checking my load order but I wanted to share my experiece in case the above are already possible as that would speed up my test cycle.
KentuckyExpat Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 (edited) Thanks, Balgin. After thinking about it later I began to suspect that might b the answer but it was 1 am and I had to go to bed. Another question - Say a female PC flirts with some NPC. The first attempted flirt will result in a rejection. In order to successfully flirt with that NPC the PC needs to do multiple flirts. There seems to be a minimum interval necessary before the game to consider the second attempt, i.e. flirting twice in a row with no real separation of time means the second attempt is ignored. The question is, is there a maximum time period separating two flirts for them to be considered part of the same multiple flirt attempt. Ex. - Lady G flirts with Ray on Monday - no go. She then goes to Riften where she spends the next three days on other quests. After that she returns to Winterhold, having been away a total of 5 days. She meets up with Ray and again attempts to flirt with him. Is this considered a second flirt of the series or is it considered the first flirt of a new series? Edited August 15, 2023 by KentuckyExpat
KentuckyExpat Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 OK. Lady G has flirted with Ray for most of two days, flirting every hour. Told him he was attractive - response "So what", smiled shyly at him , ignored. In the description for this version of the mod, successful flirting can sometimes be accomplished by "adding some fashion items also helps". I'm not sure what additional fashion items can be added. She has pierced ears, eye shadow, lipstick, nail polish - fingernail and toenail, nylons, a new hairdo, dyed hair and she is wearing high heels. In other words, every fashion item she was encouraged to acquire, she has. What's left? And, more importantly, what more does she have to do to get Ray's attention? Oh, and I will note that I removed the mod from my load order and did a re-install. Ray still ignores her.

Oh, and I will note that I removed the mod from my load order and did a re-install. Ray still ignores her. It can be hard but here's what you have to do: Spoiler Keep flirting with Ray. Don't try every hour. There's a minimum wait between successful flirt attempts. I think it's 3 or 4 hours. You can check it in the last page of the MCM menu. You can even change it to 0 hours if you want to speed things up a bit. You can also change the chance to flirt successfully in the same page of the MCm as well. You need to flirt and get a few kisses and cuddles and snuggly wuggles. Eventually, after 3 or 4 successful attempts, you'll get a new conversation that's something like "[You feel weak in his presence]". This will open up a new conversation option but you might need to flirt first to get it. Then he'll ask if you want to be his girlfriend. After that you'll need to successfully flirt at least once more and get him to undress you. There will be a new conversation option about the chastity belt. Use that one. Have the talk. Then the quest will advance to the next stage.
