Version 1.6.8

Installation: You need the main file installed from v1.6.7 (either CBBE or UUNP), then install the v1.6.8 upgrade.

- Fixed glitch at Temple of Decision which allowed Tief to re-equip chains after being freed

- White Womb is now (hopefully) unremoveable

- Heal Others spell that removes arrows from companions should now be in Tief's spell list at the start of the game when starting new characters.

- High Hrothgar added to places that allow Save for 3 minutes. Thought she deserved a save after running up the mountain smile.png

- New 'Safe for Work' Stone in the Temple of Decision. Gives Tief three clothing options to wear to cover her delicates. Each time Tief activates the stone it will toggle to the next choice. The clothing gives no armor protection and is not enchantable. It is simply for players who feel that Tiefling is NSFW.

 I'm not sure "feel that Tiefling is NSFW" is much of an opinion as much as a fact.  And that wording also implies you'd want to use it simply by agreeing it's NSFW.  I suppose I'm just pointing out I think that last sentence is weird.

Hello, in regards to the health regen problem - as I just tried teh mod for the very first time I ran into it like 10 minutes into the new game.

 

My shot in the dark is: Could it be Sexlab-Defeat maybe? My Tiefling worked normal until I ran into a group of Thalmor, and after they were finished a minute or so later I realized in the next combat my health regen was out of control...

 

Defeat somehow messes around with health regen/debuffs etc, could it be this breaks the Tiefling? Not big on the technical side, but I thought to mention it

I don't think so, as I don't have Defeat installed for this playthrough. I do have Submit though, but only for the speech options. My tiefling has never been assaulted a single time, and even if it was the case, I'm quite sure Submit doesn't messes up with regen as Defeat does.

Well, I had a request pm'd to me to give Tief a bit of cover so he could play it at work. Its an option at the Temple, so you don't have to use it, lol.

I'm sure I have version 1.6.7 installed. I've just started this current playtrhough about four days ago. Of course I wouldn't mind starting a new game, but as long as we are unable to pinpoint what caused the glitch in first place, I fear it might show up again eventually. 

As you can see in this pic I'm sending  you, Mod Organizer says I have 1.6.7 installed, so I really don't think it has something to do with the version. Perhaps it's something else, really...

I am not having these issues with health regen so I am just trying to think of possible causes. However, I don't currently have Sexlab or any of the associated mods installed so I don't know what interactions the Tiefling mod would be having with them. I have tested out several Sexlab mods in the past and had no regen issues, and I have not changed any of the scripting regarding regen since those tests.

 

I will start a new character and test Mara's path again and see if I can replicate the problem. However, I am off to bed now so it may be a while before I get back with an answer.

Welp, this is it. I have no doubt now. Just started a fresh Tief, activated Mara's power stone and added the boons one by one using the console. As soon as I got the seventh boon, she started to regen her health. I wonder if it's just me and elphilou or anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

While doing some testing, I've just noticed something else. After collecting the seventh boon, besides what happens to your health regen, your Prayer power gets crazy too. Now, it doesn't replenishes your Magicka and Stamina as intended. Instead, it just refills about 1/10 of your bar and then stops. 
Yes, I ran the same tests with quite a few characters and the results are always the same. I believe it has something to do with my other mods, there should be some conflict. I will try deactivating them one by one and I'll let you know if I manage to learn anything else.

OK, I have just tested Tief with Mara's path and reaching 7 Boons. I have no Sexlab mods activated. Tief's healrate becomes too fast and her magicka and stamina become way too slow.

 

I had this same problem back at v1.6.1 and fixed it, but it seems it has reappeared with 1.6.6 or 1.6.7

 

So stop testing Sexlab mods as it would look like they are not to blame.

 

I am not sure how much time I will have over Christmas to fix this (lots of family around), but I will be making this my top priority to solve. My apologies for not believing you all initially as I was sure it was fixed. Damn, damn, damn.

 

Will post when I have solved it.

No sweat, as far as i'm concerned you do a great job with Tief so enjoy your holidays (plus my tief Lyn is about done, i'll try a new one faithful to her daddy now :P)

 

Edit: Silly question: can Tief become a vampire ? Doing so through Live Another Life took all of her powers (all the Z-***, including saves and temple of decision) and boost (to stealth and so on).

She also can wear clothes without penalties.... She just becomes a horny vampire.

I have used Live Another Life and chosen Vampire with Tief and had none of the issues you mention, but that was some months ago, probably with version 1.5

 

I will check it out again when I have solved the regen issues at 7 boons.

I believe you can not be a Tiefling and a Vampire at the same time, as your race changes when you become a vampire. The closest thing you could do in that regard, would be combining Tiefling with Deadly Drain so you could feed on your sexual partners and recover your health through sex. It does make the whole Tief punishment thing less difficult as she will get a new way to heal herself, but it's not game breaking and might suit your tastes. I've tested those two mods together and it worked great. People usually combine Deadly Drain with Succubus mod, but I found Tiefling a much more enjoyable option as you get a lot of drawbacks from the later and it doesn't become too overpowered.

This character i made on 07/12/2015, so it should be 1.62 + 1.66 patch.

 

Have you tried typing

 

player.forceav healrate 0.0001

 

into the console?

Your problem is obviously not the same as elphilou's and mine. Ours only shows after collecting seven Mara's Boons. I bet in your case, you only experienced the regen because when you started a new game, it takes a while for Molag Bal to put the chains on you.

dePog has already reproduced the bug himself and confirmed it's existence. I'm positive your case is different.

Patch 1.6.8

 

In addition to the version notes that I have reposted below, I forgot to mention that I made some changes to the White Womb and its associated Womb Shock spell. I converted a number of the higher level Draugr to be grand souls so that they can now fill the White Womb.

 

Also, the Womb Shock spell not only Turns Undead,  but now also causes 1000 points of damage to the undead.

 

I felt that it was too hard to find white grand souls and the spell did too little for the effort involved. Now you can refill the White Womb in most places that you find Draugr and the spell will kill most of the Undead in one blast (depending on what mods you have installed that increase combat difficulty)

Yop,

Did Sheogorath's quest last night, it's a bit hard on Tief since it unequips everything from her (that includes horns and tail) to put on some fancy clothes , but it was easily fixed afterward by going to the temple of decision.

However, i did get a second black womb in the process.

Yes I just noticed the extra womb at the temple today. Will look into that.

 

As quest items Tief's horns and tail are supposedly irremovable, however Skyim seems to do the impossible whenever it feels like it. I suppose we could consider that quest as an alternate reality that morphs you into human shape, lol.

I don't know if it actually removed them from my inventory or if it just unequipped them, since they are invisible and weightless it's about the same...

I need to try other quests / mods that take inventory from you (such as Cidna's mine, SD+ or Simple Slavery) to see how it behaves (SD+ didn't remove horns and tail from succubi, but i think that SL Dialogue do when people go over your inventory. Need to test this with Tief too)

 

 

One unrelated question: is there any point in collecting temptations / boons after the 7th ?

Boons increase Daedraflesh up till Boon 24

 

Temptations increase Daedraflesh up till tempt 19. They also increase the speed of regen on Molag Bal's altar

Little bit of testing, horns and tails get removed by:

  • SD+, when you get enslaved (and of course by the time i test it there is a new version...)
  • Vanilla prison
  • Simple Slavery (when you wake up in cell)
  • Bathing in Skyrim (you can prevent horns and tail stripping by unticking their slots in mcm)
  • Wolfclub (when you wake up in the cave)

Haven't tested other mods for now, except Slaverun Reloaded that had no issue (at least at the beginning)

Not only are the tails and horns set up as quest items that supposedly cannot be removed, they also have the SexLabNoStrip keyword that is also supposed to make them irremovable. When I have a bit more time I will add an OnContainerChange script to them as a last resort to make them stay attached.

I have a question : I use Realistic Needs and Diseases, and with Tiefling, all the food makes no change on the RND state . Even if she eat a whole mammoth, my Tief is always hungry. I suppose that the cause is the buff applied by Mara on food . I tried to put the RND esp below the Tiefling esp, but I had a C++ crash when I loaded my save ... So I de-ticked RND, and I go on playing without it . 

Do you think it would be possible to do something to fix this ?

The Tiefling mod makes changes to the food, so I suppose that must upset RND.

 

iNeed works OK with Tief if you want to try that.
