Oooh that's a lot of useful information.

 

A few things:

1. Fallrim Tools:

This may be unrelated but previously I used SaveTool. I did try to use it to clear off orphaned scripts, but somehow when I open the save file SaveTool crashes. I will check out Fallrim tools.

 

2. Crash Fixes:

I used to use Crash Fixes I think (quite a while back), but along the way I have uninstalled Skyrim and did a fresh start. I must've overlooked the crash fixes, my bad. ?

 

3. DD version Fix:

Yeah I have that on. Without it SRR will not initialize.

You will have to use Fallrimtools (resaver) if you use crash fixes.

Crash fixes changes the savegame format if your savegame has more than 64k strings.

This also means savetool can't open those savegames anymore.

there is also a crawl fix somewhere in this topic I think.

Just checked I have something like that installed.

 

Still SRR might mess up your armbinder animations from newest DDi.

If that happens you can do a cell change, that fixed it for me.

If your lucky the arms will only be slightly misaligned with the armbinder.

Just an update:

 

You were right in your first guess that it is the string limit.

 

Using ReSaver revealed that my previous stable save has 65294 strings, a mere 200 or so away from the hard limit.

Crash Fixes as suggested took care of the issue. I have installed all 3 of the mods that previously cause CTD, and am able to run, save and load the game.

ReSaver showed that the current save now has >67k strings.

 

I will try out the idle fix too, been a while since I played SRR, but I kinda remember the forced perspective thingy.

 

Once again, thank you for the help, and I don't know why I haven't come across your Conglomerate Blogs before.

Super helpful stuff and would've saved me a ton of time when I was learning about using mods.

Why would my game CTD when I try to go to stables during the beginning part of the questline? I really have no mods that modify Whiterun. LOOT has no results.  Using the XPMSE and CBBE.

 

Edit: It seems to be animation related. As when I broke the animations and everyone T-Posed, I could load in in that area.

 

Edit2: Removing some (~2000 according to FNIS) animations made it work. However now Dragonsreach crashes

Edit3: Tryied going back a version from the beta, and Still Crashes. I can't enter whiterun after stuff gets started, let alone get to dragons reach. No idea what the issue is.

Edit4: I have minimized my mod list to what I would consider the basics and it still crashes after initializing the Slaverun questline. That is being told to meet with Pike, enter Whiterun, and CTD.

Just Installed the 9.3(?) version. No change. No change if uninstalled either. Though I tried the Slaverun Cheats. Apparently Everyone for the mod in Dragonsreach just being there is fine, So it's not the DD there.

If you have nothing that changes Whiterun and the problem occurs around the stables it is still likely something to do with creatures. Double check the MNC guide and make certain that you are doing things exactly as instructed (IIRC you may have to look at the LE version for that).

Sorry, I didn't get my point across (due to me not noticing I had two tabs of this convo open and didn't post a previous edit). The stables area is now fine. Getting into Whiterun and Dragonsreach after that has been the (I guess) new issue.

I will double check MNC in the meantime though. Can't hurt.

The most common problem I've seen that will give those issues is either the lack of Crash Fixes or not having the Apachii hair (both listed as requirements).

Yeah and unfortunately they seem installed correctly. SRR Won't even launch without Apachii hair, so I think that works well enough. Crash Fixes... well I followed the instructions on how to install it.

Edit1: Funnily Enough, Apparently if I enter Whiterun the normal way, I crash. But If I teleport to Dragonsreach, then go through the city its fine. Enter normal way after that. Crash.

Edit1: Funnily Enough, Apparently if I enter Whiterun the normal way, I crash. But If I teleport to Dragonsreach, then go through the city its fine. Enter normal way after that. Crash.

So what's around the entrance (inner) of WR that you may have altered? Something about Adrianne? The guards? Amren's clothing?

As far as I can tell the only thing I've changed are their clothing via vanilla CBBE outfits and CBBE/SOS

Try turning those off and see if it solves your problem then.

Try this. Turn off the plug-in for XPMSE - do NOT disable the mod, just the plug-in. You might also want to try turning off ContinueGameNoCrash since it doesn't seem to be helping.

Went from Dragonsreach, through the city, crashed during loading of outside of whiterun

I've tested it 3 times now. All same results. And that is different from before. It used to be able to load in past that. But on the way back would crash.

Do i Need to have the v8 of ZaZ animation pack installed for Slaverun v3 Beta ? 

I am currently using the v7 of ZaZ animation pack because thats the one listed in the hard dependencies.

Also I dont wanna install Apachii Sky Hair ? is is really necessary ?

 

As of right now my game crashes the moment i reach main menu .

 

and Slaverun v3 Beta is causing the crash.

Since your crashes are "moving around" and you already have Crash fixes, what about ENBoost and Bethini?

Yes that is still the newest. It remains mildly to moderately buggy but a significant improvement on any of the previous files.
