Greetings,

 

Thanks again for sharing this mod with us, it's working well for me (though I don't use all of its functionality atm - and that flexibility is a GoodThing imo).

 

Anyway, you mentioned that you were thinking about working on NPCs approaching PCs in the future and wanted to say: first, please do! but secondly there are a couple of things I've had trouble with from other mods that do NPC->PC approaches that I would hope that you can avoid from the start...

 

 

-the first, and most troublesome to me, is that when the NPC is selected a special "approach behavior" is triggered which is usually the npc moving toward the pc at a walk very often, or even a full standstill... I have completely lost followers for long stretches because of this while traveling or traversing a dungeon and changing cells... So, some method of getting/keeping the two close or something else that prevents this sort of thing (something that would freeze action, like the pop-up that SD+ uses for Coveted events comes to mind for me, but I don't know diddly-squat about modding so...)

-the other, honestly, may not be fixable, it's that thing where right as you activate the door to change cells you get a notification that someone was about to do something... the version where the PC ends up alone, but going through the animation, while odd, doesn't seem to break things, but I've had situations where, next time I go into the cell in question people are sliding around the floor in mid-animation, naked, etc.... sometimes getting them into another animation fixes it, but I've had them get stuck that way.

 

 

Anyway, thanks again, and apologies if the above was know-nothing-gibberish or glaringly obvious or something.

Ok.

I did actually double check. If I activate that plugin, the issue comes back.

If you use MFVM - More Follower Voices Mod Plus Khajiit Marriage

And do not install MFVM_ChildrenFight_Patch.esp.

It seems that that little small plugin do some unwanted changes to the children.

 

You remove the old script files off the children fight mod from your save? If no its why that issue comes back with the other installed.

 

 

No you got me wrong.

If I have that plugin activated, then it comes back.

If I turn off that plugin it goes away.

 

The mod it self dont seems to do anything, as Beamer says since he uses it to but not that small plugin.

Those scripts should SKSE clean away since they are not connected to anything.

Dont worry. If I need then I remove them. But not right now.

 

 

 

No, I understood you. But SKSE takes awhile to clear out the old script files. I use Save Tool to remove abandoned scripts from a mod. Only use the advanced options on that though as a last resort and pay attention to what scripts it removes.

 

 

I know, actually so do the game fix some script errors it self.

But you have to walk by them some times..

 

I use Save Tool and Papyrus Transfer. Np there :P

Used those tools since they come.

You can actually alter some values in your save whit them.

Afaik the child flag cannot be changed through script, you need an esp to remove it, so it really seems unlikely that it is anything else than the MFVM_ChildrenFight_Patch.esp removing the flag. I cannot find the patch on the MFVM page or through google or I would check it myself.

 

 

Its in the MFVM all in one zip file.

 

 

Ah I see, long time since I installed it.

 

This patch does indeed remove the child flag from all vanilla child races, see screenshot:

 

 

 

 

I did ask at the mod page and got this ansver.

 

 

What changes do this small part of the mod?

No I have no plans for that, I find it rather annoying myself as it often tends to happen at the most inconvenient times. I do however plan to look into NPCs approaching the PC, but in that case there will still be a dialogue where you can decline. I don't plan to implement any form of truly 'forced' sex with the PC.

Drop and go worked for me. In game at the top left i got like a little message about the mod updating itself. Err.. or at least i think it was this mod that gave me the update message.. sorry if i'm mis-remembering.

Hello, I am going to try this mod.

But tell me what exactly happens in dangeon, you can have a spoiler.

 

 

 

After killing the 'boss' NPC or last NPC in a clearable location (a location that can be marked as "Cleared" on the ma), a message will pop up telling you that your followers (if you have any with you) are frisky and want some fun. You can then choose to join them (leads to orgy including you), watch them (they will have sex without you) or stop them (no sex will happen). That's it.

My mods are in principle always simple drop in & overwrite replacements, so just overwrite the esp and bsa and load up your game. After starting up there will be a message in the left top telling you SLEN is upgrading, shortly followed by another message that it is ready (takes a few seconds at most). After that you can immediately use the new options. If there are ever any special upgrade instructions for a version I will clearly state that on the description page and support thread.

I'm not really sure how you would imagine this works. How beautiful an NPC is would not influence how succesful you'll be at picking them up, it would influence how successfull they would be at picking you up, right? (but that's not functionality this mod provides at the moment). Since the beauty factor is normally static during the length of a game (because the PC is always the same person) it does not play a role in persuasion attempts in this mod.

 

The gender preference of the NPC already plays a significant role unless you disabled it in the MCM, but keep in mind that NPCs start out as bisexual (close to flipping to straight, but still bi) when it is first initialized by SexLab. You can force a specific gender preference for any NPC by changing the SLA gender preference (using either the SLA MCM menu Puppet master page)or the SLEN MCM pages, both change the same value).

 

 

 

With "beauty goddess" I actually mean a female PC, so when playing one I can adjust attractiveness to something 80-90-ish and enjoy the result. Yes, this factor is static, but it really breaks immersion when probably most beautifull female in the game world (PC) gets almost constantly turned down at the beginning of the game. And for male PC I may want to do the opposite at high levels to make persuation a bit more challenging

 

As for dynamic factors, there are height and weight prefs and gender pref randomizer for NPC (wich your mod should already benefit from automatically).

 

Overall, I think SLAttraction and SLApproach are very interesting and promising frameworks, too bad they didn't get enough attention. May be you can take a deeper look at them, or even find it feasible to build your "NPC approaching PC" part based on SLApproach - having one cloak script serving multiple mods is always a great idea.

Something I noticed on a dungeon clear orgy spawn... I had no followers, but I still get the orgy message? I usually click on "Stop them", but if it happens again, I will click "join" and see what happens :D Should be interesting, no?

 

And another thing: the dragon kill orgy never happens for me. Everyone near always runs up and does the vanilla  "OMG... you are, like, so totally awesome, dude! Narly!" schtick, and their arousal is increased, but no orgy. :-\

 

I am reinstalling all sexlab mods (again) at the moment, so if the above happens again, I shall scream and shout about it... so there.

I really kinda dislike always seeing the dialogue option. And going back and forth form the mcm to toggle it off and on is getting annoying.

If you have no followers with you and press "Join them", your Player will masturbate. Also nothing happens if you press "Watch them". Both commands are related to your followers and sex with them if you have them with you.If you have only one follower and press "Watch them" she/he will masturbate :)

I will check in the duncgeon cleared event, you should not get that message if there is nobody nearby. It would help a lot if you could show a papyrus log for both one of those dungeon events and the dragon kill that doesn't lead to an orgy. SLEN puts out a LOT of information and just reading that log (search for lines starting with "SLEN") is likely to already tell you what if anything is going wrong.

 

Note that the scanning for nearby actors is quite restrictive to prevent pulling in anyone too far away. This may end up to be a little too restrictive as I have noticed that in some rare outside locations, it will simply not see any NPCs even if they're only a few feet away (right outside snow veil sanctum for example). Again papyrus log would help a lot in figuring out what is going on.

Do you mean when the NPC arousal is above a certain level, or when the PC arousal is above a certain level?

I can build in an 'ugliness' slider that you can use to give yourself a penalty if you feel that you are not particularly good looking. Note however that would be a penalty (negative score) only. I will not add a positive bonus for beauty as that would unbalance the chances and make it much too easy. I guess you could say that in my calculations, I already assume that your looks are not something that will stop an NPC from having the hots for you.

 

I don't use SLAttraction or SLApproach myself and am not familiar with them (I guess as you said yourself because they don't get much attention) so it is doubtful that I will integrate that, also because I don't want to add dependencies for frameworks that people are not likely to already have installed.

Hmm ok, that sounds like I simply forgot to check if any nearby lovers/allies were found before starting the event. I'll have that fixed in next release.

 

Edit: note that if you have blocked all interactions for the player, the same thing will happen. This is something I added fairly late and I did not find the time yet to create a few new messages for that. So if the player is blocked, you will get the same message box, but choosing "Join them" has the same effect as choosing "Watch them", in both cases you will not participate. I will add some messages without the "Join them" button for those situations, to prevent confusion.

 

Edit 2: regarding the single follower masturbating when you choose to watch, that is intentional. Perhaps I can reword the message a bit to make that more clear.

I haven't block any interactions for the player. As a matter of fact, I increased all probabilities for arousal, orgies and sex with NPCs to maximum. Short explanation: I always play with follower but sometimes, when playing the new game from the start, until I clear Black reach barrow, I' not taking any follower with me and doing some small quests, like Amren's sword, quest for Ysolda and similar. I have been in 2-3 caves alone so far. When cleaned them - I got a box with 3 named options. "Join them " always led me to masturbation, "Watch them" did nothing, behaved the same way as "Cancel"

Alright thats good to know. What should I do if its not showing up in my mcm on a previous save. When I made a new save it did show up though.

No thats not what I meant. I installed the mod using NMM and then loaded a save and usually the mod activates after a few seconds and the mcm shows up. But that didnt happen for SLEN. The only way I see the SLEN mcm for this mod is to make a new save.

I had to uninstall the mod and clean the save and reactivate it.
