I found a bug or something.

My character is male, but when you start an orgy, a message that says character is forced to change female appears. It must be a mistake because both SexLab, SexLab Aroused [Redux] say I'm heterosexual. Obviously that does not happen if you choose the option to force my gender is male. I hope you can fix and does not change automatically genre.

 

Your gender preference has nothing to do with the forced gender changing, that only depends on the SOS schlong a character has. Forced gender changing is meant for female PC/NPC that have a schlong (penis). It sounds as if you have checked one or more of the male schlongs on the SOS Interaction page. Go to that page and make sure all the check boxes on the right side of the page are off.

I really kinda dislike always seeing the dialogue option. And going back and forth form the mcm to toggle it off and on is getting annoying.

Edit: note that if you have blocked all interactions for the player, the same thing will happen. This is something I added fairly late and I did not find the time yet to create a few new messages for that. So if the player is blocked, you will get the same message box, but choosing "Join them" has the same effect as choosing "Watch them", in both cases you will not participate. I will add some messages without the "Join them" button for those situations, to prevent confusion.

 

Edit 2: regarding the single follower masturbating when you choose to watch, that is intentional. Perhaps I can reword the message a bit to make that more clear.

 

I haven't block any interactions for the player. As a matter of fact, I increased all probabilities for arousal, orgies and sex with NPCs to maximum. Short explanation: I always play with follower but sometimes, when playing the new game from the start, until I clear Black reach barrow, I' not taking any follower with me and doing some small quests, like Amren's sword, quest for Ysolda and similar. I have been in 2-3 caves alone so far. When cleaned them - I got a box with 3 named options. "Join them " always led me to masturbation, "Watch them" did nothing, behaved the same way as "Cancel"

 

 

Yes I have found the issue. I change the sorting of the actors to insure the PC always ends up in a 3some if possible (wasn't that by your request? ) and as a result the check for number of actors happend after the PC was already counted instead of before. It will be fixed in next release.

Well, it won't show up in a previous save, because you hadn't installed it then? Or did I misunderstand you?

 

If you hadn't installed it in that save, just install it/ activate it and let it install (then save the save)

No thats not what I meant. I installed the mod using NMM and then loaded a save and usually the mod activates after a few seconds and the mcm shows up. But that didnt happen for SLEN. The only way I see the SLEN mcm for this mod is to make a new save.

I had to uninstall the mod and clean the save and reactivate it. 

 

 

The guts of the SkyUI config manager are a bit of a mystery to me (and most I think), but sometimes it can take up to a few minutes for a mod to register in an existing save. SLEN itself does nothing before it is registered by SkyUI MCM and you turn it on. There are a few suggestions that are often mentioned, like the "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" console command, or opening a MCM menu of another mod and closing it again, or fast travelling, but I have a feeling most of them are placebos, and in the end it just boils down to waiting a few minutes

This is most certainly caused becasue I do not know exactly how Sexlab Submit works, but it does not show the "Hey hold up a minute i'd like to ask you something" Dialogue for the same sex unless you toggle the option in the MCM menu. Perhaps this mod could achieve that featuer the same way Sex lab submit achieves it?

I suspect it simply checks the Vanilla gender, not the SexLab gender. That won't do in SLEN.

Aphrodisiac potions. These lootable and craftable potions will slowly increase the arousal of nearby NPCs. They can be bough from select merchants, or crafted using your alchemy skill. 

 

 

Spell tome not showing up in inventory after click in MCM

 

How do you craft the potions ? and you can only have to use 3 items on the alchemy table

Orgies can start automatically after you kill a dragon, or after you clear a dungeon/location so it becomes marked as "Cleared" on the map. You can set the chance for this on the "General" page in the MCM menu. Set them to 100% if you want to be sure they start. These will only start if there are actually NPCs nearby that are not hostile to you, if you solo-kill a dragon there is nobody to start an orgy with So bring followers, and hope that a dragon attacks in a busy place, like Riverwood, Dawnstar or Morthal.

 

Group sex (with up to 4 lovers/allies plus the PC, so 5 total) can also start when you wake up from sleep, but only when the sleep was not interrupted. Again you can set the chance for this to happen in the MCM menu, set it to 100% to be sure. These events will only start if there is at least 1 NPC close by with relationship 4/Lover. If that is the case, then other NPCs with relationship 3/Ally or 2/Confidant may join in.

 

Finally, you can start an orgy from the dialogue with any NPC with relationship 4/Lover. The number of other nearby NPCs that can join depends on the number of NPCs with relationship 4/Lover nearby. With 1 lover (the one you are talking to), a maximum of 5 NPCs will join the orgy, so 6 at most including PC. With 2 NPCs with relationship 4/Lover nearby, the total becomes 9, with 3 lovers it's 12, with 4 lovers it's 15 etc etc.

The spell books are added to leveled lists, not to your inventory. That means you can buy them and find them in the same place you would normally buy your vanilla spells. So after you add them, you can go to Farengar in Whiterun, or the Wizards in Winterhold to buy them. You may also find them on the bodies of mages you kill. Note that as usual it will take 2 in-game days for a vendor to reset their inventory, so if you have recently visited the vendor you may have to wait until they reset before they have the spells available.

 

The alchemy ingredients can also be found in the usual places (loot from Alchemy Satchels, some Barrels, Alchemy vendors, dead Mages) but are all set to rare so you will not often come across them. However, you can create these ingredients yourself. You do not harvest them from a plant or animal, but instead you create them by combining vanilla alchemy ingredients and items at a kitchen or smelter. The book tells you which vanilla ingredients you need to combine, how many of them and at which crafting station (either a cooking pot or the smelter). Once you have created them or found them in loot or vendors, they will work as regular alchemy ingredients. There are 5 ingredients in total: 1 works as a base for all aphrodisiacs, it has all 4 effects (Man, Mer, Kahjiit and Argonian). The other 4 each have 1 of the effects, plus 3 standard vanilla effects. So if you combine 2 out of these 4 with the base ingredient (total of 3 ingredients), you will end up with a potion that wil affect 2 different races.

 

The potions like the spell books are added to leveled lists. You can occasionally find them at Alchemists or in loot, but the most guaranteed way to get them is through the khajiit trader caravans, they almost always carry at least 1 potion, often more. Note that they are expensive, the potions can be very powerful in busy locations, they're the equivalent of a full night out for the whole team with champagne and strippers, not of an afternoon cinema show and a hot dog, and that is reflected in the price

It should start normally, unless you have disabled all anal animations. Is this only with the anal option, or also if you choose another option? Is it only with certain NPCs or all of them? Is your PC male or female, and is the NPC male or female?

Hi. Just wanted to say thanks for making this Mod. Sometimes I wanted to uncheck the horrible sexlab Anal animations and I get CTD by clicking "I wanted to F*** your A**. Is this the known issue? Also this is a Male to Female gender settings.

Are you running the 20150802 version? If not please upgrade (just overwrite the old files). The latest version has better handling when no animations are found. In the older version, if no anal animations were found, nothing would happen. In the latest version, it will start a random animation instead. It should certainly not make you CTD.

Can you add the option to disable dialog for either gender in the MCM? Every other mod like the has this feature.

 

Having the romance topic show up at the top of the list every time I talk to a man (as a man) is a bit annoying. This is the only problem I have with this mod. Great job by the way.

Would be nice to have an option to block dialogue from a specific sex. For instance when my character is talking to a male the SLEN dialogue is there. I can go into the menu and block it for the individual male actor but for convenience it would be a good idea to simply block sex dialogue from showing up for all male or female actors depending on your character's set sexual preference.

 

Unfortunately it's not so easy to accomplish that. One of the strengths (and intentions) of SLEN is that it is fully compatible and sensitive to all genders and gender preferences. This means that determining what a person's gender preference is can become quite complicated. It involves checking the SexLab gender, and falling back to the Vanilla gender if SexLab gender is not set. Then the SLA gender preference needs to be checked, and if this is not set, the gender preference needs to be calculated based on the SexLab gender and the Sexuality rating in SexLab. This requires some scripting, it is not possible to directly check all these values from a dialogue condition.

 

In the current dialogue I solve this problem by calculating the necessary value in a script as soon as you choose the SLEN dialogue, and then setting a couple of conditional properties that can be checked from the dialogue conditions to determine whch sex options might make sense. I cannot use this same method for the top level dialogue because there is no trigger to kick off the calculations that need to happen before the dialogue is shown. To do that I would need to scan for nearby NPCs and do these calculations for them in advance (before you ever open the dialogue with them), which would be a huge performance hit compared to the current method.

 

So that's not a way I'll be going. I'll keep it in the back of my head though, and if I see a possibility to add this without incurring a big performance hit I will certainly add it.

Hello, I am going to try this mod.

But tell me what exactly happens in dangeon, you can have a spoiler.

 

 

 

After killing the 'boss' NPC or last NPC in a clearable location (a location that can be marked as "Cleared" on the ma), a message will pop up telling you that your followers (if you have any with you) are frisky and want some fun. You can then choose to join them (leads to orgy including you), watch them (they will have sex without you) or stop them (no sex will happen). That's it.

 

 

 

This in the warning made me laugh:

 

If schlongs or gay sex freak you out, do not participate in public sex orgies (this is good advice in RL too).

 

Words to live by.

 

When upgrading do I need a clean save or just drop in and good to go?

 

My mods are in principle always simple drop in & overwrite replacements, so just overwrite the esp and bsa and load up your game. After starting up there will be a message in the left top telling you SLEN is upgrading, shortly followed by another message that it is ready (takes a few seconds at most). After that you can immediately use the new options. If there are ever any special upgrade instructions for a version I will clearly state that on the description page and support thread.

 

 

 

Once again, beautifully done mod.  I expect a certain amount of bug fixing with mods.  After all, no two people have the same set up and mods add something the game wasn't intended to do.  But this mod has been flawless.  Really well done.

i noticed something. i play with mods that add more NPC's and that includes married couples. i used this mod and had sex with several women in dragon bridge and one time when i got back into town i was attacked by the husband of one of the women and another person i am not sure if he is or isnt married. could this be something built in the mod?

One question......had an after dragon party, 2 males, 2 females, they paired off m/f and m/f, females donned strapons and males acted as females. Is this common? The females are bi, the males are straight.

 

One request.....a way to invite a willing partner to follow you behind the Bannered Mare for fun rather than in the market place. An "I know a place" dialogue with a temporary follow situation.

I have not yet run into any issues with this yet but I was wondering if SLEN's surprise sex events when the character is sleeping would interfere with sleep mods? Immersive Beds actually has the player lay down in beds and get up from them when they wake. How does SLEN handle sex scenes when an NPC friend wants to take advantage of the fact that my Dova dude is sleeping? Does the sex automatically initiate or does the player character wake up first then initiate the sex act?

To quote from the description page: "Warning: there is little to no gender sorting in orgies."  In an orgy the NPCs do whatever they feel like, and you have no control over it. They could just as well have paired as MM and FF couples, or in one (or both) of the MF couples the positions could have been reversed. Nothing is intentional in these cases, it's all a matter of how the coin drops.
