Wow, just recently added to LL and 14 pages. Impressive. Loving your mod. Great work. Works great, except when I proposition a follower or NPC, everything is fine till the end. I can't move my PC. Not frozen or anything, just can't walk or draw weapon. I did install the latest sexlab tho. All other aspects work except when I proposition. Is this compatable to the new sexlab? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for a great mod.

 

If by new sexlab you mean the latest stable release, v1.59c, then yes that is the version you should have. If you mean the beta release, then I do not know. SLEN only starts the sex though, no scripts are running to 'monitor' the scene in some way and no callbacks are used, so by the time the sex ends there is nothing in SLEN that is active. The only thing that SLEN does after starting sex is adding your partner to the end of the recent partners list and around 10 seconds after sex starts it will check if the relationship rank will increase. After that the script finishes.

Here's a real minor thing, that doesn't really matter, that I found with the mod: When the NPC's say, "Of course, dovahkiin," before your character can even shout.

 

I go through so many characters. I only start the MQ when either I want dragons to spawn or when I have the desire to start Dragonborn.

 

The fix is a simple conditional and a cloned topic with different text. :P

 

Ah yes I see what you mean, I can add something for that. Of course if I wanted to be fair, I should also add a heavy charm penalty at that point. After all you are still just an escaped convict at that time, not a desireable living legend ;)

 

 

 

Even better you can expand this idea to full-featured quest progression "tracking", affecting charming chances and unlocking some specific dialog lines. The more quests PC have completed, the more famous and desirable he/she become. Too bad beth had removed famy prop from sky, but at least you can explicitly check for some key quests completion and faction membership/ranks.

 

I also suggest integration with SL Attraction, that would be really great. Now, if I understand correctly, we have almost linear system, with NPC's arousal level and ordinary dice rolls being the only entropy available, which is pretty boring and immersion breaking - almost impossible to charm at low lvl and pretty easy at high, very predictable. Why the hell some NPCs couldn't just like PC as a person? And feel attraction to he/she just because of that, no matter of how famous PC are? The opposite also applies.

 

It would also be great to have a control over probability of increasing relationship rank in MCM. IMO it progresses too fast, especially when talking about followers which are already at 3)

 

And finally +1 for many times suggested "NPC approaching PC", at least for followers. It seems really unnatural for me that always consenting followers-lovers will hold highly aroused unlimited amount of time until PC asks them to have fun or sleep/cleared event occur. Yes, essentially this feature will only swap the initiative, but that intiative really matters in terms of immersion. As for papyrus load, you always can make it toggleable and with configurable scan period, so this is not actually an issue imo.

Did some trial.

2 new start Skyrim Onbound.

One fresh current setup.

The same happens.

One fresh start and No B-F. The same happens.

 

This is my load order from right panel in MO if some one wants to check.

 

 

MFVM_ChildrenFight_Patch.esp - I don't know the mod but if it does as the name suggests (makes children able to fight) then that is probably the one. Afaik any mod that makes children fight always will remove the child flag, because otherwise they will just make a run for it.

Update.

Did check, removed the said mod from the loadorder and the problem was gone.

No I have no plans for that, I find it rather annoying myself as it often tends to happen at the most inconvenient times. I do however plan to look into NPCs approaching the PC, but in that case there will still be a dialogue where you can decline. I don't plan to implement any form of truly 'forced' sex with the PC.

 

You might look into a mod called Dangerously Nude. I think that is a mod that would cause NPCs to jump you and have sex when you are nude and their arousal is high.

I did actually remove the mod and it did go away. Do you use the plugin for children fight that comes whit the mod?

 

No I just use the base mod without any plugins.

I use 1.59c myself but a few posts back VenomousDuck reported that he uses it with 1.60 RC 1 and that it works OK for him. The function I use to start the sex if probably the most used SexLab function, if that would change most of the SexLab mods would stop working.

 

Have you tried starting sex in an alternative way and see if the same thing happens then?

You've got that entirely wrong. Look at the first bullet dot hidden in the Spoiler tag on the description page if you want to have more details on which values affect your chance. There's a total of around a dozen values involved, used to calculate a possible 8 separate bonuses and penalties, and very few of them are on a straight line.

If I have that plugin activated, then it comes back.

If I turn off that plugin it goes away.

 

The mod it self dont seems to do anything, as Beamer says since he uses it to but not that small plugin.

Those scripts should SKSE clean away since they are not connected to anything.

Dont worry. If I need then I remove them. But not right now.

No, I understood you. But SKSE takes awhile to clear out the old script files. I use Save Tool to remove abandoned scripts from a mod. Only use the advanced options on that though as a last resort and pay attention to what scripts it removes.

Check a page or three back for that solution. Make sure the option that unpacks BSA is off.

I know about relationship rank and attempts count, just forgot to mention them, getting sleepy atm.

Still I forgot about NPC speechcraft being taken into account, so thanks for pointing me to re-read the descr)

 

Your charm system is definitely better than vanilla persuation, I never said the opposite. But adding atraction support still might add a lot to it and help to roleplay. For instance, most of people's female chars are beauty goddesses, and should be treated accordingly. But for male chars I would usually prefer the opposite, looking for more challenge. All this can be easily tweaked with attraction.

Extracted the bsa and removed that script :)

You need to do only one thing, the list of three represents your options.

Simplest way - just move SLEN above SOS in MO's left pane. Make sure to test on clean save

I'm not really sure how you would imagine this works. How beautiful an NPC is would not influence how succesful you'll be at picking them up, it would influence how successfull they would be at picking you up, right? (but that's not functionality this mod provides at the moment). Since the beauty factor is normally static during the length of a game (because the PC is always the same person) it does not play a role in persuasion attempts in this mod.

 

The gender preference of the NPC already plays a significant role unless you disabled it in the MCM, but keep in mind that NPCs start out as bisexual (close to flipping to straight, but still bi) when it is first initialized by SexLab. You can force a specific gender preference for any NPC by changing the SLA gender preference (using either the SLA MCM menu Puppet master page)or the SLEN MCM pages, both change the same value).

Ah I see, long time since I installed it.

 

This patch does indeed remove the child flag from all vanilla child races, see screenshot:
