"yeah, yeah... blah, blah.... kill, kill, .... oh I like this part..." But now..... I find myself just cruising SexLab mods, installing them, enjoying them..... and FOLLOWERS!.... don't get me started (again). I look for new followers and think, "Oh, she's cute. I wonder what she'd look like as a Milk Maid..... or I could whore her out in town.... or just keep her for my own friend with benefits...." I DON'T PLAY THE GAME ANY MORE!!! My male PCs dress up their dolls and have sex, and milk, and ask them to do things with animals and other creatures. My female PC grabs a male follower... (hey... SOMEBODY has to milk her and have sex with her!)... maybe some girl friends... and she doesn't PLAY THE GAME any more... she just goes dungeon whoring. And the CLOTHES! And the ARMOR! .... oh, the life of a fashionista..... So... if there any hope for me? Will I ever actually be able to play through again? I can't even begin to count the number of PCs I have under level 5. How many MO profiles I have... different body shapes to turn on and turn off, and even different body shapes for the same follower. Am I sick? Can I be cured?

Guest Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 An addiction is an addiction, @chajapa. Hard to cure. The power of this game is it pretty well extensible and configurable. And tons of mods that can add game play for a very long time. Do you want again to enjoy the standard game? Why not? Just add the bare minimum of mods you really like and start a new game, and go to the end. Then go back to be addicted to mods. Alternative: start developing mods (you already started this path) and then get addicted to modding.

Cynical Misanthrope Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Just because you like to play Skyrim with Sexlab (and do the things you explained above) a whole lot, doesn't necessarily mean you are addicted. There are many users here who don't play the game either. They just enjoy creating characters, snap some screen shots and then move on to the next one. An addiction in many cases, is when your body or mind, more or less must have or use the thing that makes you feel good on daily basis. When you simply can't live without it anymore. You can smoke cannabis every day, without getting addicted to it. If you really want to stop smoke, you can. It's all about the willpower. But your body will not stop function just becuase you take a break from it. But if you for example use heroin, you can be addicted to it on the first try. And if you use it under a very long period of time, and decide to quit it, your body will not simply function without it. I used illegal drugs as an example, just to give you little different angle. If you feel that you can't function, like at all, due to Sexlab, then you might have a problem. Are you able to play other games or do you feel the urge constantly being there? Do you try to find excuses to skip your job or studies, just to sit and watch pixels fuck? Do you recede from your family etc etc, just to use Sexlab and receive your "fix"? You will to ask yourself questions like these, and act accordingly to the answers. But if you feel that none of these questions fits you, then I wouldn't really worry to much. I mod many many games and use certain stuff as well, but my world wouldn't go under if I had to stop use them. So how about you?

Now he never calls me." LL mods have saved my Skyrim, quite frankly. About a year ago I'd finished the main quest line at least 10 times, most all of the sidequests and the DLCs. I was bored. I moved on to other things. Then I discovered the wonders of turning the world of Skyrim into my own personal sex orgy. Even when I'm bound and on my knees in front of my NPC owner, I know that I still run things. I make the decisions on what to do or how far to take something. If I don't like where it's going, I either remove the mod and create a clean save or change my mod load drastically and start a new game. Once was the time when I didn't care for a lot of the bondage stuff like Prison Overhaul or Captured Dreams. Then I discovered ways to modify those mods in the MCM and make Skyrim what I wanted. I've reinstalled Captured Dreams and now, with my new level 8 character I'm about to run through the mod again just for grins. Only this time I'm changing my approach from moderately submissive to very submissive. We'll see whether they leave marks on me or kill me. Then, once Zaira has returned from Witcher 3 and updated Maria Eden, I plan on another new character just to see if I can get gang raped. Fun times!

There's always SexLab Solutions, at the very least your PC can fuck their way through the game. You can simultaneously progress the story, and watch the goodies.

Mods in general got me playing again, I first played Skyrim on the 360, and I had 4 main saves and a load more below level 10. The only reason I started playing it again on PC was mods. I started with stuff like skyui and map roads, markers, etc. then I found CBBE and the skimpy armours, and it just snowballed until suddenly my PC was involved in mass orgies and and being tied up by bandits

Not that I ever complete the main quest or even get very far with any given character, but rarely do I just sit around and watch my character have sex; I actually go out and have adventures of some kind, which often result in her ending up the play-thing of some bandit or likewise under-handed individual or group. I like that LL has given me a game which can be about the traditional RPG things (adventure, battle, loot..) as well as sex, bondage, bestiality, slavery, and everything else there is to find in these hallowed pages!
pinky6225 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 foxyfingers sort of created a cure by tying the serana amorous adventures quest line to dawnguard progression so to see one i had to play through the other and it was quite enjoyable which was surprising as i thought playing through the DLC would be a chore. Since then i've carried on to "collect" the others and character is now at level 78 which is much better as i'd usually have to restart by level 20 at the latest.

It doesn't have to contain sex to be fun and there seems to be no good reason for you to play though the game again. But if you insist on playing Skyrim you could try a SexLab quest mod. I know there is one called "From the Deeps" that is meant for a female character and there are a few others in progress. Or you could try the scary option which involves finding a girlfriend. That might take your interest off SL for good.

Sounds to me you're having a blast playing the game with mods, so you should just keep on doing what you love. I'm in the same situation, as my PC long forgot about the quest to eradicate Skyrim's dragons, or whatever the heck the main plot of the game was. Now all my dragonborn does is hang around Honeyside, bouncing her girlfriends and the occassional hapless guard.

Then I've found STEP that explained to me how to use MO, after this I really began to mod. Since then no character ever went beyond Lvl 29, maybe because I find other nice mods that need a new start, or something got updated, ... Then I got to LL last year, now you may call it a miracle if any character of mine gets beyond 20. So, it's less LL and more modding generally, LL just pushes on top of modding Oh, and I've never seen Sovngarde yet
