Hey,

 

Quick question/suggestion if I may.  Please confirm the placeholders C through G do not do anything at this time.  I'm assuming these are for the author's future use, yes? 

Reason I'm  asking is because I'm trying to get NPC to PC (Mainly Follower to PC) to occur more often to satisfy the "Lovers Desire" buff in SL Aroused.  Presently in my game SLSL is set up NOT to initialize NPCs and Sexuality so I'm controlling which NPCs are available by manually setting them in the MCM SLSL menu (and removing the Excluded Toggle).  And setting gender preference in MCM SexLab/Sex Journal.  The placeholders C through G are toggled off because SLSL is not initializing NPCs. 

The objective is to keep the "Lover's Desire" buff on the PC. 

I get on a questing roll and don't keep up with it and now "Lover's Desire" has become a de-buff.  It would be nice when the PC has a follower, the follower would inform the PC, "Darling it's time for another" and the love making commences.   (Why I have the arousal threshold set at 50.) 

It takes so long to get to 50 Arousal that the occurrence of NPC to PC making love seems to be pretty realistic in game.  The love making occurs about once a day (Skyrim time, within 72 minutes in RL time) maybe twice if the PC or follower has been "exposed" usually to nudity.   

 

But please confirm Placeholders C to G are not used presently? If only to inform this NPC has been initialized?

Marriage stuff is still being worked, some may not work but it should show correct in the MCM... I can lower the arousal low limit to 1 in next update.

I'm noticing a problem with the latest version. It doesn't acknowledge any one as married. As in my PC is married, and she's not acknowledged as married, only that she has a lover and I noticed its the same for most married couples.  Also is there a way that the arousal threshold can be set to 0 rather than 20? It takes a long time for people to be aroused in my game.

 

I"d appreciate that, thank you so much for the mod!

Is your spouse a vanilla option marriage? are you using any mods that alter marriage?

 

 

Yes, we used the vanilla option. THey married ages ago. He's an NPC from interesting NPCs.  No mods to alter marriage.

Pcgeekri, yes, the placeholders aren't used at the moment. They will be in the future. In fact, whether they are on or off doesn't matter.

It seems to me that you have your followers set up nicely (i.e.: realistically, I "follow the same path", so to speak). As for the dialogues, they are WIP just as the mod itself, so you can expect something like what you suggested.

 

Initializing NPCs - I myself have NPCs initialized (but not their sexuality, which I set up via SL/SLA), but I use the .json files to set up NPCs for SLSL, including custom followers/NPCs. This is a lot faster than the manual method ingame. I have something like 1600 actors (most importantly - all my followers, lovers, servants, etc.) ready atm. It took some time, yes, but much, much shorter than it would manually.

Thank you iacex111.  It did.  Amazing, that many NPCs?  Mercy that was some work to be sure.  I'm needing to do that with the .json files too.  Does it matter which .json file that is edited?  Or can you make a new .json file?  I've read the instructions on obtaining NPC IDs but is there a particular file it goes into?  Or do you have a separate .json file for each NPC?   What about a custom follower ID?

Hey Dooge (or anyone for that matter). I am hoping someone can  help me with a problem I am having. For some reason, when a horse (any horse) is aroused, nothing happens between its legs LOL. I mean... the 'jewels' are there and all but nothing else. Even when the animations run, nothing... just air.... any ideas?  LOL

I'm really glad I could help. :)

No, you don't need separate .json flles for particular NPCs. You need a .json file for each NPC mod you use. First of all, obviously, for Skyrim.esm, for the vanilla characters. So you must know which module introduces a particular NPC. If you have a single follower mod (like Sofia follower), you have a separate .json for her. So the key is to have a properly named .json file with properly converted refids and traits in the right format.

The easiest way, if you want to set up your NPCs, followers, etc yourself, is to use my "calculator", an Excel file which does most of the work for you. You'll find my detailed (and hopefully clear) instructions in the current thread. Again, I'm talking about setting NPCs according to your own preferences. We are (luffyboy, Dooge and some other committed guys) working on "describing" all the named vanilla NPCs, so you can wait until we're finished and just focus on the custom NPCs.

Sorry for this long explanation, You've seen the examples, so I think you already have the idea about the methodology. I'm just using this oportunity to explain to everyone interested how the whole stuff works.

In fact I'm not sure if it has anything to do with SLSL. Bestiality isn't covered by it, as far as I know, so the problem must lie elsewhere.

I will have the "problem" tomorrow. Fortunately this me who's invited. :)  Although, I'd rather play Skyrim or help with SLSL because I hate drinking when it's very hot. And gaming doesn't end up with hangover...

dooge and ia hehe i know nice warm sunny weather and sittin in comfy chair among friends and cold beer in one hand that can easily lead whew beer more ;) .well i like reading and listenin music and also playing skyrim and video games for relaxation. well skyrim is more like at least 2 houers per day.

I have lot of improvements under work. I will take my sweet time until next update but I am sure anyone who likes this mod already will like it even more.

 

Some things worth mentioning

  • Gender neutral comment system... meaning gay men etc. will speak "woman" lines (except those referring to their own pussy) and vice versa and so forth. It looks actually pretty amazing when they (gay/bi men) contemplate "how it would feel to be pinned down under his iron grip while he blows his nut in me."
     
  • New scene system. Seamless transition from one line to another makes dialogue look more natural when there is no lag of half a second between where they walk away from each other just to re-engage again. This also makes it much easier for me to add new content and manage existing one. Thou.. I need to redo all the existing stuff.
     
  • Toggles for all kink-content. Well, not fully functional, in fact most of the king content isn't even there but yeah. Also started with Prostitution attribute, it takes the place of placeholder C.
     
  • Soft dependency to Devious Devices. Just Chastity belts at the moment, but it is now easy to add any DD related comments and outcomes.
     
  • Credit screen with all major contributors.

I keep getting code 30, code 40, and timeouts in the log messages which causes the targeted npcs to run into each other and then walk away immediately after they meet without triggering any animations. I installed all the requirements and the actors all have high arousal levels. Any help on this problem I got will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I mentioned in my post that I got all the requirements. I got a bunch of other mods that require silent voice to and it works just fine.

That mod is in my loadorder for quite some time now, sadly nothing ever happens. I spent some time yesterday, letting the mod run at default settings (asides setting the timer to 20 seconds and required arousal to 20 to speed things up) while looking at the screen outputs for some time.

 

Some things that happened:

 

1) I was in Whiterun, and the mod kept chosing partners that were not there. It tried to pair my follower with some soldiers from the Silverhand, Stormcloaks and the Imperials. Also unique characters were selected, which were not part of the Whiterun and it's surroundings. For all of those there was a warning from Sexlab in the logs, that the chosen character was not loaded.

 

2) The Mod reguilarly chose Lucia and another child from inconsequential NPCs, and the mod aborted due to invalid (excluded) actors.

 

3) In the rare cases the mod chose two valid actors, they started insulting each other right away, mostly starting or ending with the "Your improportionate body disgusts me" line.

 

That was on the marketplace from 6am to 6pm, all NPC around were at 30+ arousal. Modversion was 0.8.6

Due to a reinstall there are no logs at the moment, I'll post some lateron after setting everything up again.

 

Asides that great concept and nice mod, this looks like a promising not-so-random alternative to the RandomAttack mod.

Next release will include huge set of preset values for mostly all NPCs.

 

Thanks for the hard work of luffyboy, y_sengaku, dooge, iacex111 and others who contributed. These Dogtags will live forever in the glory of the annals page of the SLSL mod MCM.
