Prison Overhaul Patched (LE)

I saw several red human figures in certain cells, and some of them can be interacted with to have your charactor doing the same pose. Is it some compatible problem from LE to SE?

This problem is most likely because you have ZAP 8 but not ZAP 8+

 

POP requires ZAP 8+

How do you guys keep POP in relation to other mods? Generally as low as possible in MO2 or as high as possible?

You need to install Skyrim Utility Mod (SUM) first.

 

Then you can install Prison Overhaul Patched (POP).

I do not know if this has been mentioned, and with 313 pages of replies I don't see myself finding it soon.

 

Though not a direct conflict, if you use this mod and Public Whore at the same time, I advise not using Public Whore's Sex Fame startup setting.

 

If you are under arrest and gain enough fame it will trigger PW's start and might mess up your progress, as you can't "sell" yourself in a cell, or in my case bring up a fade out load screen and freeze the game.

OOIC, having just updated to the release version of DD 5.2, I have now had the first POP arrest after that 'fail' and 'exit', despite POP having previoisly worked OK on one of the 5.2 beta release versions 

 

It may just have been a one off glitch, so before I start to raise any really unwarranted concerns, is anyone else now using the final 5.2 release without problems?

POP automatically switches to hardcore even though I have the option off. Does that happen to somebody else?

My understanding is that the MCM option only applies to arrests for minor crimes.

 

My understanding is that hardcore mode is always used for major crimes.

I tried using the search function did not find this being mentioned anywhere, one time I saw food being discussed I only seen in game way of adding it being included in the conversation. Is using just json file (xpopForms.json) to add food and drinks working fine? Do I need to watch out for something while doing so?

Hmm, interesting. Makes sense from an immersion standpoint. But I'm 100% sure I was arrested for minor crimes, though.

Whether you are arrested for "minor" crimes is only decided by the total bounty, so you could piss in a fountain enough times to get the bounty higher and that would not be considered minor crime anymore. You can change those numbers in the POP MCM.

I know that. I'm saying minor because that's the log message that popped up when I was being arrested. The bounty was lower than the set threshold too. But ok, good to know, I'm just gonna test it some more next time.

Tried the newest version 5.50 and got a pop failed to load error/pop registration failed reset pop. I never had this issue before, last version I used was 5.32 on my old computer. I tried to downgrade to 5.45 with corresponding dde and sum but received the same error messages. Then I downgraded to 5.44 before I started tearing apart my load order and found that version did not give me the error message. I'm guessing something in the list of misc changes of 5.45 is causing this for some users. I have no idea what though. I'm using the LE version.

I do have the same issue and the POP failed to started (thou can access the MCM and saw some of the check list on status flagged as FAILED~ thou I do not have DDe installed but have latest SUM v2.6. P.S I am on LE too.

Try to go to POP MCM debug card and click "Force manual reset". Close MCM and wait. I'm on SE but this helped me.
