If you have this and another pregnancy mod installed (such as Soulgem Oven), would they be mostly compatible? I.e., SLIF should process both sets of bodymorphs?

Also, I'm not really understanding what the Milkmaid option does. Does this cause lactation/milk production regardless of whether the PC is pregnant or not, or does it still require that the PC obtain the curse at least once to activate?

It causes breast growth and lactation in the PC regardless of pregnancy status.

Gotcha. Sorta like a Milk Mod Economy "lite" kind of thing? Cool beans :)

Everything works for me. I'm just being picky and failing at getting the belly to be round and large like in the picture. I've played with all sorts of settings and bodies, but cant seem to get it to go round instead of flat and long. If I could get pointed at something to help (google hasn't been a great help either) that'd be awesome. Thanks for your time!

Where do i get animation like this? The current one which is default Skyrim animation kinda sucks.

Running into an issue where it seems that the pregnancies aren't counted. Not really an issue except that the pregnancies also aren't detected by the SL Widgets mod. Everything else works - scaling, pregnancy, delivery, etc.

This is a self converted version of 3.6 to SE. When using the 3.0 SE conversion, pregnancy is detected, but then I ran into the issue with the bellymorphs because that version doesn't have a racemenu selection for the morphs. I'm kind of at a loss, as far as I can tell, this needs nothing special for conversion.

It looks like the SL Widgets mod is checking if the player is in a faction: _EggFactoryPregnantFaction(0x2943C). When I checked, I was not in the faction.

Spoiler

Total births is 0, even though there's been enough births to get 4 aspects

SL Widgets needs an update then. Egg Factory hasn't used any Faction-based stuff in a while.

Thank you, I'll pass that along. What is being used for pregnancy detection then? Given that the Egg Factory MCM thinks I've had 0 total births even though I have multiple Aspect effects?

Edit: I might be conflating pregnancy detection with the birth count. I'm assuming they are linked, but just realized that may be wrong.

Modern Egg Factory uses a set of Reference Aliases (victim1-victim12) attached to the EggFactoryMasterTimer quest to track who's pregnant.

I really love this mod but the misc item cursed eggs always felt unimmersive, since you always know which eggs are cursed and which are normal. So I went through the scripts and esp, and changed the following:

the misc item cursed eggs no longer exist

normal eggs (vanilla ingredient eggs) will randomly be cursed

laying eggs spawns a vanilla egg item immediately instead of a fake egg before switching

fertility charms can be smelted with gold ingots

pregnancy draughts are harder to craft

and few more miscellaneous tweaks

It conflicts with any mod that changes vanilla ingredients, so maybe there is a way to patch together those edits.

Another potential issue is that the cursed eggs might not work if you pick up a large stack of them at once (the skyrim creation kit wiki says that the OnContainerChange event will not always fire for large stacks) but i haven't really noticed this ever being an issue since most eggs spawn in stacks of 1 or 2.

One final issue is loading it on saved games I have no clue what it will do to your save, I made these edits mid-save on my game but nothing has gone horribly wrong yet so presumably it won't cause CTDs.

Overall this is a personal edit so some things like the fertility charm recipe and harder preg draught were personal tweaks and may be in poor taste but I just wanted to share my edit and maybe get some input/advice from mod author. Also not standalone, it's just overwrite for scripts and esp of the 3.6 version (made on AE, might work on LE, but I quit playing LE a long while back so I have no idea).

is there a way to change the direction the eggs "pop" into existence?  I've replaced my bleedout anim with a birthing one so want them to pop out between the legs

Not sure where I messed up but everything in the mod works aside from the pregnancy itself, downloaded all the prerequisites. Downloaded via vortex,, says everythings up to date and scaling is good to go. I'm playing on old rim, everything works aside from the pregnancy itself like I can't seem to start it, picking up supicious eggs, dragon souls, Nada. Any solutions?

So I just have two questions: are we able to get a list of the aspect of the egg bonuses and how do i fix it not registering that ive birthed eggs

Do I have to pick up a "suspicious egg" to get the curse? I can't remember how long ago it was that I played with Egg Factory, but I seem to recall that if you picked up eggs from the ground there was a chance that they'd give you a suspicious egg. If this is no longer the case, does anyone have an immersive way to get the curse?

So I got nearly everything working, but some weird stuff is happening. 1) When my character goes into labor the belly resets to default. 2) I cant get the lay down animation to work if there is even one.

Nice mod, but a bit plain and also a bit of a pain to get to work. Going to try Beeing female next. Might be better pregnancy mod.

Install process on Anniversary edition(AE) and mod organizer2:

downloaded cbbe and racemenu, then needed to install eggfactory and then patch it manually. also using the patched inflation framework makes the mod not work for some reason, mainly eggs don't even spawn on bodies. The 1.2 version works however.

Side note: make sure everything you download is for your version of the game, for most of you it is the special edition(se) and anniversary edition works for se mods too, and also check the date on them too because they might be outdated have have an updated version. On top of this Skyrim must be from steam not gog or epic games or some other source.

Hey, did you ever figure out what was happening with this? I also have 0 births detected, although SL Widgets does seem to detect births and put up an icon. I also don't seem to be getting any aspect effects either.

Side note, I have a bunch of "suspicious eggs" in my misc inventory for some reason... Clicking them gives me the curse, but I'm curious if they serve any other purpose? Can I just throw them out to save on weight, or do I need to keep them for any particular reason?

No, we got the widget working, but not the count. Not really a big deal i think since that's only affecting the mcm. The aspects still apply after a certain number of births, so it is tracking properly elsewhere in the mod.

It's normal for the eggs to stay. They don't do anything other than give you or an npc you give them to the curse. Want to see npcs affected too? sell them or give them to them somehow (like reverse pickpocket). Otherwise, just drop them.
